This was my first Pilates class, and I was a little nervous walking in, thinking I might be lost. I came in early, and the instructor was absolutely amazing — she took the time to educate me on the equipment, explained some exercise, and even demonstrated the more challenging moves so I felt confident before we started.
During class, she gave clear verbal cues, demonstrated everything, and made sure to check in and stay nearby when things got more challenging. I've been throughly enjoying my sessions at this studio, today was particularly the icing on the cake. I enjoyed my 8:30 am class with Alex St Clair, she played a hyped up music playlist with some of my favorite hip hop artists which is rare in Pilates classes in the area. Saddened to hear she's mainly based in Durham, but because of today - I'll be a regular at the Raleigh location and following her course schedule as I can in Durham. I love flow corps!
Yoga with so fun - the perfect heat paired with the perfect flow was a great way to wind down on a weekday evening.
The only thing is the staff weren’t super welcoming - didn’t get any introduction and I felt ignored throughout the entire time. Would definitely try it again though.
