Came in for a deep tissue massage and within the first 8 minutes I decided to do the whole hour. Yo-yo worked out all the knots in my shoulders and made sure to check on me every so often to make sure the pressure wasn’t too much. Highly recommend.

It has taken me far too long to leave this review and for that I apologize. We took our 17 month old to get his first haircut. After a bit of research we found Styles & Smiles in Jacksonville NC and the reviews lead us to believe that Ms Alex was amazing. These reviews did not let us down or lead us astray.
We scheduled an appointment and went in not knowing how our toddler was going to react to having his haircut and hoped for the best.
When it was our turn our toddler was a little apprehensive because the child before him was very upset. We helped him in choosing a car to ride into his first haircut, he chose the fire truck, and Ms Alex went to work!
She was absolutely amazing and our little boy did so well during the whole visit. He was excited to choose a treat when he was done and since we had signed up for the First Haircut Package mom and dad got a keep sake certificate for the first haircut and a lock of hair.
We definitely will return for future haircuts and will definitely see Ms Alex again! We highly recommend Styles and Smiles for your first haircut and all of those that come after it.

I really enjoyed going here yesterday, it was my first time. This barber shop has a very relaxing feel with comfortable couches and old school cartoons. The prices are extremely reasonable and my haircut/beard came out great. This is my new spot after trying a bunch others in jacksonville.

Great barber. Clean professional and on time. His charge is fair and you get your moneys worth. There are other barbers in town that charge more and give you less. There are some that charge the same but dont supply you with the same level of service. No real wait time as he is almost always right on time with his appointments. You get your money's worth and a great haircut each time.

She did an acrylic set for my daughter and it was exactly the picture my daughter asked for she goes through every step.She lets you know she's doing every step of the way and even gives you oil to come home with you. She's kind and even lowered her music so that my daughter could watch her t v show on her phone and she was very nice in talking to us about the t v show and just other things going on. ABSOLUTELY PERFECT.
Requested style: My daughter gave her a picture that had flowers on 2 nails ombre tips and a sparkle white nail. She went through all the colors helping to pick everything and even when my daughter said exactly as is she truly made it exactly as is without any flaws

First time here and while Jenny did a great job, I am having to edit my review because of the high price in which she charged me. For hard gel it was about $70 (not including tip). The most expensive I have paid for a manicure. She did exactly what I wanted but I am giving 4 stars because of the price.

Been coming here for over a year and haven’t had any issues. The staff is nice, the prices are decent and the work is good. I’m off on Wednesdays, which is also the day they are closed. So if I need to get my nails done and it’s a Wednesday, I had no choice but to try a couple other salons in the area and each time I went somewhere else I wasn’t impressed. It reminded me why I go to VIP.

I am so pleased with the service I received from Wild Water Plumbing. Heather took my call and was very helpful and kind too. Their plumber Luke came to our condo at Emerald Isle and solved our problem quickly and professionally. He replaced our old hot water heater, took away the old one, cleaned up afterwards and did it in time before my next guests arrived. I will be calling them with all my plumbing needs going forward. After weeks of trying unsuccessfully to clear my septic lines on my own, I finally called Roto-Rooter. They were able to come out within just a few hours. The technician quickly located the clog, cleared it without any issues, and had everything working again in no time. He was friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable. The entire experience was smooth from start to finish, and I wouldn’t hesitate to call Roto-Rooter again or recommend them to anyone needing plumbing or drain services.

Jerry is the sweetest plumber I have ever met. He was at my home within 30 minutes of me calling and replaced the leaking pipe within the hour. I cannot recommend Dustin enough! He originally came out to fix a faucet that wasn't getting hot, which he resolved immediately. However, the real magic happened after he was done. I was on the phone with Onwasa regarding a high water bill and realized I needed to check my meter. I caught Dustin just as he was about to leave, and he didn't hesitate to help.
He checked the meter for me, confirmed there was an active leak, and immediately jumped into action. He found the necessary part and fixed the leak right then and there. Even though this wasn't what he came for, he handled it swiftly and saved us from a major issue. Dustin is amazing—professional, skilled, and incredibly helpful. Thank you, Dustin!

This company is AWESOME! I had an electric issue that had the potential for a fire which was discovered during routine maintenance with my AC company. Update on review:Pros: Andrew cares about his customers and wants them to get the best value for their home. He's a great guy that means well but I think he is easily distracted with everything and a bit disorganized.Cons: After a couple of weeks I started noticing damages to my walls, nails still sticking out from the quarter rounds, and the kicker below my garage door came undone. Most likely from the dolly moving my washer and dryer in and out. There was also a 1 inch piece of flooring right under the quarter round that started to come up within the week. We got our floors done on August 28th. It is now November 6, and wheneverr I reach out or attempt to schedule a time for them to come, I get the run around and excuses as to when they'll be able to come repair.Overall the floors are great, although if I did reccomend to my neighbors and friends who are looking to redo their floors , I would encourage them do a thorough inspection of where they worked and make sure the problems are addressed before payment

Window installation is not a “handyman” level skill. This work requires experienced skilled carpenters. Greg and his carpenters were not only fast, respectful, honest, and highly skilled, but their price is unmatched. Whether a new construction or existing home upgrades you will be very satisfied with this company.
TRUBILT CONSTRUCTION did a most AMAZING job renovating 3 rooms in my house after a catastrophic water leak. The work they did definitely added value to my home. They replaced flooring, base boards and a vanity in my master bathroom. They replaced flooring and baseboards in my master bedroom. Lastly, they replaced the flooring in my kitchen. I trusted them so much, I hired them to repaint my kitchen cabinets!!! SUPERIOR SERVICE!!!!!! A NUMBER ONE CONTRACTOR!!!!

Eastern builders did an outstanding job building my house on Topsail Island in 2012. They used the best materials and hired the best contractors. They never took shortcuts and worked with us every step of the way. I always knew my house was well built. It has withstood several small hurricanes, but last year when our island was hit by hurricane Florence, I came home and not only was my house still standing, but I had no damage at all!!! The only damage I had to the house was two ripped screens on my back porch. No roof damage, no water damage, no siding came off, no leaks in windows or doors-nothing!! It was a huge relief and I couldn't be happier knowing I hired the right company for building my home.

Amore Tree Services is fantastic. Took out three trees right next to shed and fence, then trimmed back a 60 foot gumball tree that was trying to overtake my pool. Dropped those branches from height like he was laying them down by hand. Paul and his crew are masters of their craft.

From my very first visit I knew I had found my new dentist. The staff are all amazing, from the moment you walk in until you are finished every encounter is wonderful, personal, and they all take time to answer any questions I might have. They have done everything they can to accommodate unexpected dental work so that I do not have to make another appointment. I moved away last year and can say it is absolutely worth the 2.75 hr drive (one way) to continue being seen at A Beautiful Smile. So thankful for Dr Gina and her amazing team!!

Before coming to Dr Lesan’s practice I would rather chop off my pinkie toe instead of going to a dentist! Needles! My biggest fear and worse enemy! Ugghhhh! But not any more. Dr Lesan is like a gentle giant of a man who has a way of totally distracting you from that needle as he makes casual conversation. Then he ensures your every concern is answered and every need is taken care of. The staff, each and every one of them, are dedicated to working hard to making you feel comfortable, welcomed, and satisfied with the services. I've been seen here almost 7 years now. Currently in the process of a bone graft and implant placement front and center. Besides the pain, I couldnt be happier with the doctors and assistants. I had a previous implant reject, not by this dentist but a different one in Tennessee, so Dr Smith has been very attentive and hands on making sure it works and holds well. Dr Schwark did most of the work and I'm so pleased with his work and bedside manner and how thorough they all were! Alicia was his assistant and how can you not love her. Suction deep in your throat and she still making you giggle with her bright bubbly personality. Getting this procedure done has meant so much to me. I appreciate everyone at this office and will always recommend. Also, all three of my kids go here and I've never had an unpleasant visit.
I had to have a wisdom tooth extracted at the age of 48! I thought I had escaped having to have this done but no, the tooth started coming through at 45. I go to dynanibmc dental for my routine care and they offered to extract the tooth fior me. I didn't know they could do that at this office. I scheduled the extraction and on the day of the procedure I was very nervous The assistant listened to all my concerns and did everything possible to put me at ease. She used a numbing jelly on my gums before the doctor gave me the numbing shots. There was literally no pain involved with the numbing process or the extraction. They listened to me and did everything possible to make the removal off the tooth smooth and painless. I was so grateful for the level of kindness and care I was shown. I definently recommend this dentist for both kids and adults. The staff, hygenists and doctors are top notch.

Found Dr. Keefer because a coworker was looking for a chiropractor. I told them don't use mine, find someone new, and let me know what you find. Best advice I ever gave that ended up helping me more than them.
Went in the week before my accident. She already had me do X-rays on day one — something no chiropractor I'd seen before ever thought to do. Right there I knew she was different. Thorough from the start.
Then March 30th happened and I got rear ended. Came back in as an accident patient, new paperwork, new X-rays, full workup. She compared my neck before and after and somehow — somehow — it looked better post-accident than pre. I told her maybe the accident helped. She did not fully agree with that assessment.
She has been with me through this entire recovery. Consistent, thorough, not missing anything. Now she's helping coordinate my transition into physical therapy to keep the progress going. That's not just a chiropractor — that's someone who actually manages your care.
I have two coworkers who see her now. Working on a third. Trying to get my wife in there too.
I cannot recommend her and her team enough. If you're in the area and need a chiropractor, stop looking.

All around amazing, polite, and competent staff. My dog Chulo is reactive and he was handled with so much grace. The staff knows how to put your pet at ease. We no longer live in the area but I don't think we'll find another vet that cared for him the way that Dr. Fuchs and the rest of the staff did.

Dr. Howard and his staff has always been caring, professional, and very personable. All of our pets have had the best of care. Any time we call we are seen in a very timely manor. I have adopted senior cats and they all needed special care, Dr. Howard is always so kind and takes time to explain everything to us. Our one dog was recently diagnosed with kidney diseas. Dr. Howard was quick to get us to the right people and place. My husband and myself feel very secure about taking our pets to Carolina Forest Animal Clinic and Dr. Howard has been a blessing to us. can't recommend him and his staff enough.

Great visit! The front desk, vet assistant, and vet were kind, knowledgeable, and efficient. We have routine vet tech appointments and my dog came back to the lobby tail wagging and happy. The visit was thoroughly explained and they happily answered any questions. We’ve had to relocate a few times and I always can tell if a vet is a good fit for my dog, he seemed pleased and happy with this visit. We will continue to use Bayshore.
Dr Butler listened - really listened to my history and concerns, and addressed my issues. The treatments have lasted and exceeded my expectations.
5 stars for Star. This was my second visit at Jacksonville Massage; had a treatment with Yeni previously (which was exceptional). Star worked my arm/elbow where I have tendonitis and leg where I have IT band issues. Back work included cupping and heat. Overall great treatment that was equal parts physical therapy and relaxing massage. Will be back when I'm in town again.

Came in for a deep tissue massage and within the first 8 minutes I decided to do the whole hour. Yo-yo worked out all the knots in my shoulders and made sure to check on me every so often to make sure the pressure wasn’t too much. Highly recommend.
