“Airtron was very responsive when I called after coming home an 86 degree house. Came the next day but said some parts needed and a holiday so no one came out until Wednesday! Unfortuatley Corey was here for 8 hours to now reprieve. John came today and fixed it all and did a fantastic job. He is always so thoughtful, polite and really knows his shit. I ask for him always and it seems some things were missed with the other techs that perhaps John found. This was no small task and on one of the hottest days of the year. From start to finish they were professional in every sense of the word. The nice part about dealing with Ben Franklin, One Hour Heating and Air and On Time Electrical is that you have all the disciplines under one roof. This job took all day and then some but these guys pushed through and had us fully operational that evening. They accidentally nicked a wall when removing the old water heater but had a guy out that same day to repair it. It was a small scratch. They not only fixed it but ended up painting the entire hall wall. That is above and beyond. If you are looking for folks who provide a great value, are on time and do the job right, call Dave Fowler and boys and they will take care of you.“

I have significant electrical knowledge as a data center design engineer and network engineer (30+ years) and Travis understood my specific requirements and provided a detailed estimate, explained options and worked with me to develop a work plan that meets my objectives. Highly competent and professional, installation work is scheduled. Great job, strongly recommend. 5 Stars

6/5 Update Travis from NuBlue returned to do the work quoted on previous visit. This work involved a compete panel overhaul, repair of two outside outlets, installation of a dedicated 20 amp circuit to my computer network closet and installation of a pre-terminated Category 6A UTP cable from the network closet to an outlet on the other side of the house through a crawl space. Travis and an assistant completed the work in an efficient and professional manner. Post installation test of the Cat-6 cable showed a cable fault caused by a kink. Travis immediately ran a replacement cable without being asked further demonstrating a commitment to customer satisfaction. All work was completed in the time specified, Travis and his assistant where polite and professional, I would hire NuBlue again without hesitation and would request Travis. Note: Post installation and after Travis has left it was discovered that during the panel overhaul one breaker was inadvertently left in the open position, which resulted in the need to reset several smart lights and other IoT devices. I consider this a minor issue and could have been adverted if I had checked the break panel more throughly.

“Our AC unit that we purchased from AirCare just a few years ago stopped working at the end of March. A tech came out 4/1/25 and had to order a motherboard. They were scheduled to come back April 7 to complete the repair and didn’t show or call during the timeframe given. When my husband who had been home waiting called they said they didn’t come because it was raining. They rescheduled for the next day, and once the motherboard was installed it apparently now says we need a new compressor and condenser. So now we’re waiting on these parts to arrive. I called today (4/10/25) because after the no show I have little faith in the communication from them but they are still waiting for parts to arrive. The person I spoke with was friendly and assured me they will call when it is all ready. Rated 3 stars for now, hoping this gets resolved and we have no more problems with the unit or the service. We spent a lot of money on this York unit a few years ago for it to have this level of problems. Thankful it is still under warranty and the weather cooled a bit. Will update when the work is done.
Update: Replaced the compressor and condenser and then needed yet another part, but work was completed April 30th/May 1. They did try to get us a whole new unit but the maker, I guess York, declined because they would rather replace every part in the unit. I don't think it was the fault of Air Care but communication on what was happening could have been better. Right before Easter on Good Friday when we were having a heat wave and waiting on parts they did bring us a couple portable units so we could be comfortable and I was so very appreciative of that. Our unit is still working and cooling so hopefully that will last! Overall I think Air Care is a good company and I was so much happier when they brought the portable air units so I upgraded the rating to 4 star. Unfortunately now we're having to look for a new upstairs unit and making price comparisons, I would go with Air Care again if the prices are competitive but not sure I would get a York.“

“A month ago we had an issue with our heat. It wasn’t working and dropped to 64 degrees. Having 2 young children, time was of the essence. We needed a fix and needed one quick.
We contacted 6 different hvac companies. During the process, Ernie was out contact with Prime Comfort.
Ernie walked through our system. He explained what was going on and presented us with multiple options. Ernie also spoke about recommendations he thought would improve the air flow.
Why were those recommendations important? Why did we need more returns? Why did we need more supply vents? I mean, the original layout didn’t need it. Why now?
The reason the recommendations were made were truly based on why we were having to get our complete system overhauled.
Our furnace was overworked. The ductwork was too small and as such, the unit was working twice as hard to produce the needed heat necessary.
Our ac unit was having similar difficulties as the duct work was squeezing the air flow. Overworking and not producing.
My wife and I always found certain parts of the home to feel hot during the hotter times, and colder in certain spots during that same time. Then overall, out ac just didn’t seem to be cooling.
Enter all of the local hvac contractors and all saying similar things as to what they would recommend. So why Prime Comfort? Why did we go with them? Ernie.
Everyone had similar costs associated with the install and overhaul. Ernie however was always available. Ernie answered questions at every turn. He was available and always responded in a timely fashion.
With all of the other vendors, we found reasons why we just didn’t feel comfortable choosing them: Vague answers to questions or even avoidance, shifting the focus to something we had not discussed, or pricing so disproportionate to everyone else that we just dropped them from the possible vendors.
So Ernie.. Genuine and trustworthy from start to finish. Always available and walked through processes and options. Start to finish Ernie and Prime Comfort was the obvious choice, but we did our due diligence. There was no pressure from Ernie, just a willingness to engage and assist at every turn.
We had our install over 2 days as we had complete ductwork replacement, ac replacement, and furnace replacement. Added returns and supplies. Clean up and new thermostats. After leaving, it’s like they had never been there. Except for the air flow.
We have had hot and cold weather since install. We did not realize how much our other unit was overworking and how little it actually was working. Our new unit now cools the whole house equally and at a more consistent level. The same with the heat. Set point is also different. Before the install, the thermostat needed to be set lower than need be to adjust for the unit needing to overwork itself.
Our new hvac has been amazing. The professionalism and work done was far and beyond what we wanted. And through every step of the way, Ernie has always made himself available. It’s been weeks since the install, and whenever we have a question, Ernie is still available to answer. Above and beyond grateful to Ernie and Prime Comfort for everything they have done, and for making the process snd easier one than we could have hoped for.“
