Brought my 2 King Charles and it was the most positive experience start to finish. Heidi has the sweetest personality and my dogs were welcomed in and got to sniff around and meet others while I checked in. Heidi did a fabulous job on my skittish dog and said she would work through some of his fears of blow dryer. Im so thankful to have found this wonderful groomer. As a blonde, I wanted to be brighter and lighter, without the 3-4 month upkeep. Taylor made it possible for me to come in every 6 months and have beautiful, lived in color until then. This past appointment, I wanted to experiment going a bit darker in my color and showed her only one reference photo - and she made it happen! My hair is beautifully dimensional and natural looking, without being a big dramatic change. Not only is Taylor talented in hair, but she is a kind and sweet person too! I don't mind being in the chair for 2-3 hours when it's so much fun chatting with her. I cannot recommend Taylor enough to everyone in the West Metro!

I just had my first visit with Scott Wieden for a hair cut. I have not cut my hair in the last 6 years due to terrible damage from a failed home hair dye attempt, i decided it’s best to seek professional help. Scott was amazing and made the whole experience fantastic! He greeted me at the door and gave me an assessment and provided me with advice to help repair my damage. I spoke with with him briefly on what I would like my hair to look like and he understood me faster than any stylist I have ever met in my whole life! He salvaged so much length that other salons told me I would lose! I cannot thank Scott enough! This wash, cut and style was everything I needed in my life right now. You can tell when you meet him, he has lots of experience and definitely knows hair! Book with him quick, he has a lot of loyal followers that keep him busy. I recommend booking your follow up appointment as soon as possible or all his appointment slots will be filled. Took me a month to get an appointment but let me tell me you, soooooo worth the wait! I made an appointment needing a simple beard trim and Kendrick killed it! I have a short beard and usually trim it myself but I’ll have to come back each month to have him work his magic. He didn’t trim too much, shaped my jaw line perfectly, trimmed the wayward hairs, and lined up my cheek line in 15 minutes. Fantastic service! The shop was clean and everyone was also very kind. Free coffee is always a plus as well

I have never met a better nail technician than Cindy (the owner of Royal Nails). I live in St. Paul and I drive almost an hour to see her—when I have plenty of options closer to me—just because I value her skill and expertise so much. I've gotten my nails done at nail salons for over a decade now and I've never had acrylics that last as long as they do when I get my nails done here. Cindy is meticulous in her work and can bring to life any design you ask her to. I once walked in with the shortest, most busted and bitten down nails you could imagine, and when I walked out, I left with a set that was not only very sturdy, but beautiful, too. I would be inclined to call her a miracle worker, haha. You can tell she takes great pride in her work and if you get your nails done by her, you will see that it isn't without reason. She is efficient, hard working, and kind. As long as I live in the Twin Cities area, I will be going to Royal Nails! <3
I've been going to this Twin City Nails location for many years for pedicures. I started when my daughter was young and now that she's an adult we still meet up there. It's always been clean, and everyone is kind. It's understated and has a chill vibe. Many employees are long-term and familiar faces to us. I love the foot and calf massage and combined with the massage chair I always leave relaxed with pretty toes. It's a happy place for us.

Schwarz Construction finished our new home in the summer of 2020. Our project involved demolition of our former home and a new build on our existing lot. Kurt Schwarz did an amazing job quarterbacking the demolition, architectural design, framing and finishing. All aspects of the exterior and interior were attended to and we could not be happier with the result. His team went the extra mile for us, even building a custom mailbox to match the house. Kurt, Jack, Jeff and Andre and most of the other subs were on point. We had a lot of custom requirements, some of which the team had not done before. Every design idea was considered and we were able to make good cost/benefit decisions along the way. Frankly, the other 'review' doesn't compute with our experience (all during the height of COVID when lesser builders might have come up with excuses to delay the project). I know of three clients who have been involved with Kurt Schwarz and all would give him full-throated endorsement. They built both a front and backyard bluestone patio for us, as well as a stone retaining wall under our deck and steps along the side. The team was incredibly organized, responsive, and efficient. We had a fantastic experience with NRD Landscape Design! They designed and installed a patio and pergola for us last year and we absolutely love the space. I loved working with Josh and his entire team (Andrew, Jared, Ian, Keegan, Jacob and Jackson). My yard is totally transformed. I had an odd-shaped, old, existing garden with underlying plastic and plant fabric that seemed impossible to do anything with. Josh had the vision that exceeded my expectations. He also listened to some of my requests and worked them into the design. I am definitely going to be a return maintenance customer, but I do so enjoy working in my garden and taking care of it. It reminds me of a trip to the Cleveland Botanical Gardens that I took earlier this year - but better. It's my yard and I just love it! Thanks to Josh and the guys.

These guys have been in business a very long time and they know exactly what needs to get done and how to do it properly. Also, they’ve got great design ideas, and the cost of their services is super reasonable. I actually loved working with Great Goats Landscaping and I am about to refer them to some of my family members who could use their expertise.

I just had to share that dynasty tree experts did such a fantastic job, listening to my needs, leaving the yard better than what they found it, saving a little squirrel house in the backyard as well. Dan and his team were very professional as well.
They were on time, and did a great job removing the tree. They also left some free mulch for us. Very reasonably priced and easy to work with.
Outstanding service. I had a large limb fall on my house in the storms last night. Called Ron and he came out right away to assess the situation. He had his crew out within an hour to remove the limb from the house as well as the rest of the 30+ maple tree. The whole crew was friendly and hard working. Took great care with the lawn and did an amazing cleanup job. The price was also very reasonable . I would highly recommend.

I just moved into the area and was going to look for a new dentist when a piece of my tooth fell out. I goggled local dentists who accepted the MN state plan and chose Tonka Smiles mostly because of its location. I was absolutely thrilled with the results. Not only were they able to squeeze me in within a day, they could not have been more professional, efficient, and friendly. I have happily found my new permanent dentist and would highly recommend them to others.

The reality is that life happens and sometimes I let too much time pass between tune-ups, but putting them off ALWAYS works against my progress for optimal health. Dr. Stefan is patient and answers all my questions, and clearly loves dogs. This clinic was recommended to me by two friends. I love that it is family owned. Our family started taking our miniature dachshunds to Gehrman Animal Hospital 44 years ago. Even though the docs have changed, the atmosphere is always welcoming and cheerful. Everyone in the office as well as the techs and of course,the vets are top-notch. They treat you like our puppy is the only patient they have all day, and you get undivided attention during your appointment.
I have been taking my rabbits to Minnetonka Animal Hospital for about 10 years and highly recommend them. Dr. Julie Boero is very gentle and thorough in her rabbit examinations. She is very knowledgeable and genuinely cares about my rabbits and their health. The vet techs and receptionist are always super nice and helpful. I feel as if they really love working there and taking care of the animals:) I find their prices to be quite reasonable as well. Once again, I highly recommend them!
I have gone here for years, but recently as so grateful for their excellent service and kindness. My dog had super bad allergies and smelled so bad. I was exhausted from trying everything and bathing him to try to fix it. The vet immediately recognized that and said “I can tell this is putting a strain on your relationship”. She ordered tests and solved the problem. But the best part was the unexpected emotional support!

Heartwarming. Healing. Restorative. I love the small classes. They max out at 6 students. Instructors are all very consistent in how they lead their classes: 1. Nice variety in exercise 2. Great attention to the unique needs of every student 3. Excellent cues and attention to coaching proper form without overwhelming students I feel like I progress in every class bc each instructor also brings their own flavor and vibe getting to know their students and helping them advance. Studio is clean and cheery. Equipment is well maintained. Instructors are extremely caring, knowledgeable, and empathetic. Notes for those considering pilates for the first time. Start with private lessons. Get the basics down. Then switch to a class that consistently has 6 or less students. A good instructor should be very hands on and have the ability to coach all students in their class vs just call out the sequence. pilates is all about proper form and fine tuning of muscles for optimum performance. Too large of a class and you won't get the optimal benefit out of the class bc the instructor won't be able to individually observe and guide you.
Club Pilates is awesome, but honestly Ashley makes the experience of coming in for classes so warm and inviting. She’s the best— everyone should go here!
