“We loved working with Mike and the team at Great Goats! We spoke with four different companies about a major landscaping project in our front and backyards. His bid was right in the middle, not high or low, but in retrospect extremely fair for the service and quality we received.

What we really valued was the collaborative working style in both the design and project execution. We really needed to simplify and match the landscape design to the style of the house. He really listened and made our ideas come to life. It involved tearing out 50-year-old, over grown shrubs and trees, digging out old rock embedded in the soil, hauling in new rock, soil and mulch, re-sodding stretches butting against existing yard, planting rabbit resistant (nothing is rabbit proof) shrubs, treees and plantings that better revealed the lines of our home.

His team was as careful as possible moving heavy equipment across the existing yard with minimal impact. Some of the new plantings didn’t take, so he was back two weeks later replacing them. This is our third home. We have lived here for over 30 years so we have seen many home improvement projects. Working with Great Goats was one of the best!“

“I loved working with Josh and his entire team (Andrew, Jared, Ian, Keegan, Jacob and Jackson). My yard is totally transformed. I had an odd-shaped, old, existing garden with underlying plastic and plant fabric that seemed impossible to do anything with. Josh had the vision that exceeded my expectations. He also listened to some of my requests and worked them into the design. I am definitely going to be a return maintenance customer, but I do so enjoy working in my garden and taking care of it.
