“I have attended classes here since fall of 2021 and I can say that all of the instructors that work here are positive, adaptable, and motivating human beings. I love dancing and sweating with everyone I meet. And yes, it is very open to dancers who are beginners and people who just want to move their body and feel good. There is a place for you ?“

400 Selby Ave Suite U, St Paul“I always get choked up in Amelia’s class. Her yoga class is the equivalent of “church” for the spiritual minded. It’s NOT just a yoga class let’s be clear. It’s a spiritual journey and I love everything she has to say during the flow. I’ll keep coming back every time I’m back in MN because this yoga studio is truly something special. Please don’t change a thing Amelia!!!! What you’re doing is changing and enriching lives. Thank you for being you. ❤️“

520 1st Ave NE, Minneapolis“YogaFit is the best!! I never feel judged or insecure like I have in other yoga studios. The teachers are great and each class is different so you’re always learning new exercises. The studio owner is a very nice guy too - they have a late cancellation fee and he was able to waive it for me one time which I really appreciated. Also, yoga fit is more affordable than other gyms/studios. It’s the best!“

Peace United 5050 Hodgson Road, North Oaks“Shaila is an instructor with heart. She is practical, wise, compassionate, humorous, and incredibly knowledgeable about yoga and how to teach it. She is very active and hands on throughout every session, moving around the whole 90 minutes helping every person correct and/or adapt poses. She makes her classes widely available across a large geographic range while leaving a small footprint by tucking into available unused community spaces whether it be a community center, childcare center, golf club, art center, or church. She understands that injuries, aging, surgeries and other bodily trials happen over the long haul of yoga practice, so she is an instructor who will push you plenty, but who also embraces the concept and frequently states it, “Do the best you can with the body you showed up in today. Work at your own pace.”“
“Carpe Diem is so incredible. Each teacher offers such a different perceptive on the practice of yoga. Whether that be breath, or posture, of movement, I just really appreciate the variety of ways to tap into my mind and body. I also have a membership for the sauna, cold plunge and red light therapy. It's always so clean and friendly. I love this studio“
“SHIFT has made a shift in my alignment. And I love the results! After only twenty sessions of myo-skeletal alignment therapy (MAT), the lateral curvature of my spine from scoliosis has straightened, strengthened, and stabilized considerably. Tammy Shaw-Sykes has extensive experience in MAT technique, but also uses breathwork and muscle rehabilitation to achieve significant results quickly. After only my first session, my swimming improved. With the muscles of my ribs loosened, my lungs took in more air, allowing me to add an extra length of the pool before needing to stop to catch my breath. My body cut a straighter track through the water and my realigned pelvis allowed both feet to kick stronger and more equally.During the first month of therapy, energy pathways began opening up. I hadn’t realized how the twist in my spine was negatively affecting how energy moved through my body, until I felt it move up my spine as muscles were releasing around the curvature in my spine during the session. I had practiced Ch‘i kung exercises in the past, and I recognized that it was chi energy opening my energy pathway – an interesting sensation and one that brought me joy each time it happened. These posture shifts can be felt. But if you’re not sure the therapy sessions are really making a difference, the photos Tammy takes through the process provide convincing visual evidence. My overall core stability, strength and posture have improved. Each client’s particular body and scoliosis pattern is unique. The exercise program, therefore, is tailored to the individual. Tammy tutors her clients along the way on what they can do and not do to achieve their goals. When I do the recommended exercises, the pain goes away.I am convinced that MAT, breathing work, and exercising all seven muscle layers results in improved physical and spiritual wellness. I highly recommend Tammy Shaw-Sykes as an exceptional healer.“
“Smaller classes plus high quality instruction equals personal growth in your yoga practice. Individual adjustments to poses for your body and your experience with yoga. Just bring a mat and all other props provided. No permanent studio means less overhead and thus very affordable personal instruction.“

“Dawn is one of the most AMAZING individuals I have ever known. This is the reason I took her yoga teacher training course. She is extremely knowledgeable and offers so much more than typical training. She is kind, flexible and patient, and takes the time to get to know you and what you need to learn the information. I loved the fact she brought in a “guest” speaker, to let us experience Thai Body work. She definitely goes outside of the box, and I really appreciate her humor and lightheartedness she gives to the class. Don’t hesitate if you are thinking about taking this course with Dawn, as I only wish I would of taken it sooner. You will be very well- rounded in Yoga and It’s philosophy. Truly was a pleasure and I loved the studio area as well. Very inviting. Namaste!“

105 E 26th St, Minneapolis“Yess Yoga is the foundation of my feelings of home in Minneapolis -- I love teaching and practicing here. Lucia and this studio encourage you to be your whole self, always. I've walked in the doors with eyes full of tears and other days with belly-aching laughter. I've practiced yoga here in states of grief, joy, loneliness, and inspiration. In these gem-stone lined studio walls, I've grown as a teacher, a student, a friend, and learned what it means to be a part of an authentically loving and generous community. This studio shares movement practices that are responsive to the needs of Minneapolis residents and to the state of the world. We practice yoga and somatics for the purpose of embodying true connection, belonging, and body sovereignty, and for uplifting those essential elements of life everywhere we go.“
“Love Shaila’s classes in general, and this one in particular. The timing is great; the venue is quiet and peaceful, and can either do yoga outside when it’s nice enough, or view outside when it’s not. Great students, too.“
