2105 Central Ave NE, Minneapolis“I’ve been seeing Tammy at Shift Fitness since August 2023 and she’s been a HUGE help to me with ongoing musculoskeletal pain and alignment issues due to a couple of chronic health concerns and exacerbated by a car accident. I used to be in constant, daily pain for years but no longer am!!
I would recommend Tammy’s services to literally anyone who thinks they may need it! She’s taught me so much about being able to help my own body as well - I started out seeing her three times a week and now am down to once a week, with the ability to skip a week or two without being entirely set back by issues.
She is so knowledgeable and can typically just glance at me when I walk in and know exactly what’s causing me problems or pain at that time. In fact I wouldn’t have connected my car accident which was years prior with my current issues but she asked me if I’d ever had whiplash due to something like a car accident, which is exactly what happened when I was rear ended.
She also helped me through my recent pregnancy with a lot of knowledge and compassion and continued support in different ways as my pregnancy progressed and I required changing care. She even lent me a prenatal yoga DVD to help me with safe stretches.
She is really great at personalizing my care based on my unique body and medical history, and is very open to my questions and feedback! Over the time I’ve been seeing her we also enjoy chatting during my appointments as we’ve found some common interests.
Yes, the appointments can be expensive as my insurance doesn’t typically cover it but since I can manage to pay out of pocket the amount of live-ability I’ve gotten back is so worth it!!“

“This Highland Park location offers excellent public parking accessibility, which I greatly appreciate. I also value the strong sense of safety provided by security and the quick response of staff members to medical needs throughout the building. It’s also a great place to work out because of the many amenities available to members, including shampoo, conditioner, body wash, mouthwash, shaving cream, razors, Q-tips, and tampons. The facility is exceptionally clean and well maintained.“

Offering all kinds of insight and reassurance. So grateful that this is offered here as a service to the community so mother's to be and their birth partner or team solo or otherwise can participate in class. It was so empowering and beneficial to me as a twin mom to be at around 5 weeks, getting into this invaluable practice from early on in my pregnancy is quite the dream come true! Exactly what truth and integrity can achieve when you feel loved, and supported not only by your body and the earth but an entire community. That was about 10 years ago, I think. Time flies! I desperately needed help with my sore neck and back and it definitely helped with that. But what surprised me was how Svaroopa Yoga calmed my mind. It helped me become more comfortable in my body and support my mental health at the same time.
I also found community at Nokomis Yoga. Solveig Corbin has built a community of people who are kind, thoughtful and welcoming. That is very special in today's fast-paced world and, for that, I am also thankful. I highly recommend Nokomis Yoga!“

“Quit Lifetime and joined Club Pilates in April. I got the membership where I can go to any club I want to which allows me to join classes at the time and area that work best for me. I need both a neck fusion and spinal fusion and the pilates classes have helped me while I await surgeries. I find the stretching amazing and it has pushed my mobility. I have been with many instructors, and all have provided me support for my body concerns of the day. Every instructor does things a little different which has allowed me to grow in my practice. Worth every penny!“
