“I'm a relatively new homeowner of a 95 year old, classic GR home who had a feeling I was getting manipulated by another company (Vredevoogd) regarding my slow drains. They came over, looked at the pipes in the basement, and told me the only solution was an 11 THOUSAND dollar full system replace. I called Mike from Wasko out as a second opinion and he had the entire system snaked, cleaned, and working beautifully in 30 minutes for $200. He even repaired my slow flushing toilet without me remembering to mention it. I'm thrilled and would recommend this company 1,000 times over.“

“Edit- Feb. 2024My bestie in Lansing had a sewer issue. I called Roger to see if he had a recommendation for someone I could trust in Lansing to fix the issue. He did not. Instead, he stated he could do the job and away he went with Eric, 30 minutes after my original call. They fixed the issue, chatted with the children and called back to make sure everything was doing good. Roger cares for people, not just the bottom line and I am grateful for how he loves his neighbor as himself. I will always contact Roger for any issues with sewer lines.Our drain started backing up into our basement. My husband did all he could to snake the lines, but unfortunately, the plug was bigger than the equipment we had could handle. I called Roger Vanderlaan at 8:05 am on Friday morning. His secretary took my information and told me that Roger should call me back within 30 minutes. I received his call at 8:08 am. He told me that he was running into a job but he would just bump me to the next in line since I was home and the owners of the other jobs he had were not. He showed up to my house around 9:10 am and just left at 9:40 am. Talk about quality service at the speed of light! Eric, his coworker, and Roger got everything up and running quickly and they didn't leave a mess behind! All I have to clean up is the mess that was created by the backed-up drain! I can't compare the cost with other companies because I've not dealt with a backed-up system in years, but I felt the total cost was fair. I am so grateful for Roger and Eric. “These guys are awesome, and I highly recommend them! A bunch of things went wrong in my apartment and building at the same time, and my landlord had Kentwood come out. They installed a new furnace, quality checked and fixed the installation of a new stove/old gas lines, replaced some old rotting pipes they discovered, and I’m sure there was more. Everyone that came out was respectful, considerate, focused, and did a great job. I only got two names (Christian and Pete) and they were great, along with seriously everyone else on the team that came out over a few days’ time. Everything is working again — I have heat, my stove works, and I feel safer knowing they discovered and fixed some issues we otherwise wouldn’t have known about.“

“We had a great experience with Vanderhyde Heating and Cooling. We had a technician come out to look at what was wrong with our heater. He looked and gave us all the different levels of repair costs. We decided to go with a new system and they had a sales tech come out within and hour or two after Gary Bratt left. Don Mansk came out and talked to my husband about our choices. He also took a look at the water heater. After much discussion we decided to get both a new heating system and water heater. Both men were very knowledgeable and helpful. They gave us several options to choose from. We are comfortable with the choice we made and how they helped us. They don’t just try to get us to go with the most expensive unit, they talked about what would be best for our home. Vanderhyde is a great company to work with.“

“We have a combo boiler in our house and the boiler went out late November. My wife and I called quite a few places and no one could get to us until the following week. We could not wait that long. I called Service Professor and they had a technician out the very next morning.Our technician, Jerry Lopez, was courteous, polite, friendly and professional. He went right to work and had a diagnosis within 30 minutes, or less. He gave us a price quote for the part and then talked with us about replacing our old system. Jerry then got in touch with his supervisor and scheduled Tommy Martin to come out that afternoon to take a look at our system and give us quote to replace everything. They even got us financed to have the work done and scheduled it for the following week. The bonus was Tommy loaning us 3 space heaters to keep the house at a comfortable temperature until the new system could get put in.I have to say, the reason I thought about calling Service Professor was because I remembered the jingle I always heard on the radio.I will recommend Service Professor to everyone I know.Thank you,Torin and Claire“
