Got a top of the line Bryant for less than a mid to low tier elsewhere based on Mike's recommendation. Unit is SUUUUPER quiet, had it 6 months and it works perfect. Anytime I have a question I text Mike and he gets back to me very quickly -- great service! Highly recommended.“

“This company recently installed a new hybrid heat pump system in our house. We had previously talked to four other companies. Hugo who did the sales presentation and assessed our house was very knowledgeable, kind and highly organized. “A few weeks ago, I woke up to find my air conditioner blowing warm air. I suspected the issue was a failed capacitor in the outdoor unit, but I wanted a professional to confirm the diagnosis before replacing anything.

I'd had concerns about the pricing of the large HVAC/plumbing company I'd used in the past, so I decided to try AVS instead, since they appeared to be a smaller, family-owned business.
The technician, Bob, was excellent. He quickly confirmed that the capacitor had failed and replaced it . He was professional, knowledgeable, and efficient.

I'm giving four stars instead of five because of the pricing. Bob had to call the office to get the price for the part, and after (I assume) looking up my ZIP code, they quoted $429 for the service. Considering the replacement capacitor itself costs around $30 and the repair took about 15 minutes, the total felt excessive.

Overall, Bob earned five stars, but the pricing left a sour taste. Ironically, I suspect I wouldn't have paid any more with the larger company I was trying to avoid. Not sure I'll be back.“

“2026-05-17: Just had to take a moment to share my experience with Donmar Heating, Cooling & Plumbing. From an HVAC service visit, cracks in the heating exchanger were discovered. Because of inflexibility with additional needed services involving the water heater and sump pump, I began obtaining price quotes from other services. Michael W. quickly came out, listened to and addressed ALL of my concerns, assessed the physical situation, and provided a very reasonable quote of proposed services. Michael W. was instrumental in establishing a RELATIONSHIP where trust, integrity, and honesty reside as the foundation. Financing was easy and reasonable.
