“I moved into my Lord Roberts home in 2010 and it came with an outhouse-sized 1960’s Silverline gas furnace. North49 suggested that since the furnace had lasted 50 years already, the components were likely very well-made, and although they could sell me a more efficient furnace, it was likely to only last me 10 to 15 years at best. Their recommendation was to keep up on my annual maintenance but to hold off on actually replacing it until the old furnace finally quit.

I took their advice and boy were they right, it’s 2025 and that beast of a furnace is still working GREAT! It’s a 1911 fieldstone foundation 1265sq ft home,
my average gas bill in the coldest winter months is about 250 a month, and the rest of the year maybe $60 a month. They could have sold me a new furnace on day one and they didn’t, saving me an unnecessary 3 to $5000.00.

“My furnace thermostat was acting up last night after my son knocked it off the wall , the heat kept going up up up , I had to shut it off to cool down house & after a few times it ended up re setting but when I was initially broken I called them at 930pm on a Sunday night , they quickly got me a tech to come at 8am to fix it but by 4am it started working so at 7am I called to cancel and they were so nice and understanding , I would of paid a cancellation fee if needed as it was very last minute .
