Last year, before I got into my in-season sports, she was able to set up and take us through a workout even before even getting her personal training certification. Recently, I’ve had the ability to work with Madeline now that she’s gotten her certification. I’ve seen a very impressive shift since working out with her before. Madeline is very good about focusing on my exact needs being an athlete. She is great about giving me encouragement, staying personable, and keeping high energy throughout the entire workout. When I voice any concern, like a strain or pain, she is able to quickly adjust the workout in order to accommodate. Madeline is also very good at giving me slight adjustments not only during workouts, but after workouts. It’s been a genuine pleasure to work with her and I’m excited to continue to do so.“

Federico exceeded all of my expectations. He is a great coach who always motives, keeps the work outs interesting and is very knowledgeable. I started noticing change after a few weeks of training and there is no way I would be able to achieve that at home. I feel stronger and have more energy. 10 Garfield Ave, Somerville“It’s been quite some time, since I’ve been thinking of trying out this gym. In the past, I would go to the traditional gyms, where I was doing my own workouts, and never connected with anyone.
Now at DPT, this changed completely. I was pleasantly surprised to see the dynamics of the place. Starting with the coaches, who miraculously know everyone’s name; the sessions are inclusive, sometimes interactive with the group and everyone is very friendly. There are people of all ages, all fitness levels, and you can follow the exercises at your own pace. No worries about not knowing what to do at first, because you can see others doing the same thing, plus, of course, the coaches are always there for any questions, advice, correcting your form. Once the class starts, you don’t even realize how fast it goes by and your body will tell you how well you did the next day - I’m always discovering muscles that I didn’t know existed!
I highly recommend trying out this gym, you’ll love it!“

I have always worked out (weights and cardio) and I have found adding Pilates to the mix has improved my flexibility, core strength and balance. My instructor, Michelle, is exceptional. She is knowledgeable, thoughtful and patient as she introduces new moves and explains what each one is designed to do. She is also a good listener and easily adapts my routine when I had an injury or limitation. I have also watched other instructors and see that they have trusted relationships with their clients. 91 Sidney St, Cambridge“I've been working with Danny at Catalyst for almost a year now, and it has been far and above the best experience I've ever had working with a trainer in a personal/small group environment.
Getting started with Catalyst is incredibly easy - I had a consultation with Faisal, who did a great job understanding my goals and evaluating my current fitness levels. By the next week, I had my first training appointment already on the books!
From there, I was set up working with Danny two days a week. The workouts are perfectly orchestrated across warmup/mobility, working sets, and supersets to get the heart rate up. Danny is so good at pushing you to the point of continual progress, and the best way I can describe it is the sense of sustainable progress I've had over the last year. I not only feel stronger across all major lifts, but I feel SO much more confident and in control thanks to Danny's focus on form and various supporting movements to develop balanced strength.
On top of the training expertise, all other aspects of working with Catalyst - scheduling, flexibility, social environment - are top notch. I can't recommend Catalyst enough if you're looking to progress your fitness goals, whatever they may be!“

Cathy, a former RN, was super intricate with the intake process and provided me with a lot of info on how to sit, sleep, and stand better. Bob took x-rays and showed me where my “problem areas” were. Puts a lot into perspective once you see it in black and white. From there, he adjusted me and provided me with some exercises to strengthen my weak areas. It’s been great. I feel so much better!“

Everyone at FINE is so helpful, supportive and are just great people you enjoy seeing regularly. I’ve been training with coach Matt twice a week from the beginning and I’ve learned so much and feel stronger and more confident than I ever have! Learning proper form and lifting weights is actually really fun ? Matt is so knowledgeable and has been a great sounding board (and I ask A LOT of questions haha) talking through food choices and eating habits and also super supportive through my rough respiratory illness and small surgery when I was really frustrated, adjustments were made when needed and just kept going in a safe way which I appreciate so much!“
