I’ve been meaning to write this review for a while and just hadn’t gotten around to it. I had Stephen come out to work on my minisplits and he was phenomenal! He’s extremely knowledgeable, personable, and professional. You can tell he’s passionate about what he does and it really shows in the quality of his work.
I had a loose hose in one area, and Stephen had the experience, tools, and was able to fix it quickly without any issues. The whole process was smooth, and I couldn’t be happier with the service. Highly highly recommend!!
I’ve waited 6 months (through winter) to give this review to make sure I tested the install and equipment before providing feedback. I can tell you right now, look no further. These guys are great and know what they are doing. I had an old boiler removed and replaced with and standard (slightly more efficient) Burnham X205 and had them switch me from oil to natural gas which required the removal of the oil tank and brand new gas line/plumbing since this did not exist in the house before.
I also asked them to zone our 4-season room to ensure that room stayed warm enough during the winter. This was a game changer.
Regarding the actual project, of course things change along the way (mostly because of me). They were always happy to listen to what I wanted and were realistic in the advice and execution. Any small problems or adjustments that came up during the installation process were handled professionally and quickly.
James and his team will always pick up the phone to answer any questions before, during, and after the installation.
Also, James and his team are all great people. Locally owned. They are all easy to talk to, knowledgeable, and honest. His work is definitely worth the money you’ll spend. I will be using them as long as they are in business.
Jason installed a hybrid heat pump and did a great job highly recommend him to anyone looking for a new water heater

After a lot of searching for a hair salon that not only provides great service but also truly cares about attention to detail, I’m happy to say I’ve found my official hairstylist and favorite salon in Weymouth.
I worked with Niamh, and she’s a sweetheart. She is not only knowledgeable about her craft, but also offers genuine feedback and thoughtful insight throughout the entire process. I originally wanted a caramel mocha balayage, but I also knew what I didn’t want—too much of an orange or overly blonde tone. Niamh was careful enough to understand that boundary perfectly.
My hair now has beautiful shades of brown hues, and I absolutely love the results.
I had two sessions with her. During the first session, she gave me honest feedback about my hair and explained that going for color correction immediately could damage it. So instead, we did a toner and a nourishing hair treatment mask. After three months, I went back for my second session and completed the hair color.
I also have to mention—the salon itself offers such a comfortable and cozy experience. P.S. they keep hand lotions in the restrooms, and I can’t stop obsessing over that little detail.
Overall, it was a truly great experience. If you live in Weymouth or nearby and are looking for an honest recommendation—this is your place. ?
I was looking for a new stylist and called re-fresh on a whim because it is near my home. I was able to get an appointment with Michelle and could not be happier! She does a great job with my color and cut, the salon is adorable, and Michelle is a lot of fun and really nice. She's my new go to! Stacey is also very nice and while I haven't had an appt with her, I've seen her work and wouldn't hesitate to have her do my hair.
This is the only salon I will let near my curly hair. They do really great work and it’s such a pleasant atmosphere.
Emily always knows what will get me to my hair goals. We have done blonde highlights, lowlights and all over cover the grays. Currently doing all over cover grays and had her freshen up my layers. Always leave smiling.

First started going to Cheeky ~2 years ago when I lived in the Medford area, I have since moved to RI and continue to drive 50 minutes to go to this salon—I feel like that speaks VOLUMES. I have sat with both Abby when I got my first fashion shade (blue/green), and Katrina since I’ve gone auburn/copper. They are both excellent hair stylists— always continuing their education and honing their craft further. I have never received so many compliments on my hair since going to these lovely ladies. Abby has done an incredible job building such a female empowered environment at the salon, supporting fellow female-owned small businesses. I cannot recommend this salon enough— 12/10. I got a full balayage back in September and just went back for a gloss and haircut (see pictures). I always walk out with a confidence boost ?

I wanted a blowout on short notice and I booked here a couple days in advance and I am SO lucky to have found this salon! My blowout was fantastic, I was able to give directions of what I was looking for and it was perfect. My hairdresser Jenny was so sweet and talented. And on top of it the salon is adorable. The decor is so cute and fun. I’m so excited to come back!

Started going to Dave when I first moved here in August 2022. Have never needed to look for another barber. He is now my go to on a regular basis. He is close to my house, convenient location and hours and easy to make an appointment. Current haircut price is $20 bucks and only takes cash. The is an ATM in the shop.

Friendly atmosphere of both the barbers and the clients. Did well cleaning up my mop that went way too long between cuts. Price is very reasonable, when most shops are charging $35+, this shop charges $21. If I had more time, I would have gotten a shave too.

Hands down the best haircut you’ll ever get and great conversations! I have been to a few other places between Quincy, weymouth and newbury st but this place beats them all by a long shot. Give it a shot and you’ll never go anywhere else.

Went to Weymouth Center Barbershop for the first time today and we will be back! Booking was so easy, no wait time, quick appointment, fair pricing and I mean look at my son’s hair! It was long and shaggy before this and he did not want this kind of a haircut. When he turned around and saw it he immediately said “I love it”! And the lollipop was a plus too. We live about 15 minutes away and there are numerous other barbershops we could’ve gone to but so glad we chose this one.

I had a Queen Spa pedicure with Diane and my very first dip manicure with Angel here a couple of weeks ago, and I love the work they did! They both did a beautiful job. The dip is still in great shape, lasting a long time as they said it would—much better than the gel manicures I’ve gotten (elsewhere) in the past. I also love that they offer online booking.
I’m not one to get my nails done regularly—very seldom, in fact, usually just before a trip or other event as I did this time—but after this experience, I might now!

This place is a little hidden gem. I called for an appointment at the last minute on a Saturday, a couple of hours before heading out for a wedding, and they saved the day. My gel manicure has lasted longer than any I’ve ever gotten in the past and still looks as shiny as if it were just done yesterday. Their color selection is great as well. I will definitely be back!

But Julie did such a good job that I became a loyal client and I have been coming for 7 months now. Sunrise Nails is a wonderful salon. Vicky did my nails and they came out spectacular! The prices are great and the people are even better. I was able to get an acrylic fill and gorgeous nail art (cat eye and chrome) in under an hour! Everyone is so kind and Vicky is incredibly talented and fun to chat with while she does your nails. I had a wonderful experience at Heidi's! I scheduled a facial and arrived early. The office is warmly and tastefully decorated, and very welcoming. Heidi made me feel comfortable and the ambience was great for relaxation. The bed was comfortable and soft, with candles going and soft music playing. The facial was wonderful and ended with Heidi leaving a bottle of water and tasty chocolate to take with me. I highly recommend going to see Heidi for a warm, relaxing and great skin care experience.
I visited for a massage with my sister on her birthday, and we had an amazing experience! Gina and Shery were both incredibly professional, friendly, and attentive. They made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived and provided one of the best massages we’ve had. Their techniques were excellent, and we left feeling completely relaxed and refreshed.

I love this nail salon! Linh gives a wonderful massage along with the pedicure and always takes the time to do her best work for the nails! Last appointment she helped strengthen my nails after a different salon made them feel paper thin. They also have some fun new summer colors!

Not sure why they switched out. I mean, I get they have people coming for more pedicures
than manicures. It kind of weirded me out. Specially, after two feet of rapport building.
Roger sat me down friendly enough, but then he chopped all my nails off and my nails are already short- so I’m growing them out! So, the shock wore off and I’m like great now I really have short nails. He never really asked he just said you liked them rounded cause that’s how I had them and I said yes I never expected him to chop them off.
Roger then proceeded to do the cleaning of them and trimming, then the Massage or should I say the lack of a massage. I was rather pleased that he was doing a good job and I let him know he was doing a good job and he stopped. It was barely a massage.
Usually when you tell someone that you like it, it gives them good feedback and they want to do more so that they get a good tip -Not the case with this guy. He just stopped out right and when I pointed it out and said if it’s okay, I’m going to critique you. Told him that matter of fact; by the state exam laws you’re supposed to go for quite a bit longer and from the finger tips to the elbow. It was received as meh 🫤 as was his approach. I thought that was Ahannoying.
And then layers upon layers of nail polish that were never gonna dry- And ultimately smudged hours later. Because he put on so many layers of nail polish that never gonna dry before bedtime never mind the drive home 🙄 or dinner. I let it dry for a good while and even sprayed the instant dry on it with the enamel dry. It’s still smudged no matter. 👀 🤑👿
The they didn’t take a tip on the credit card -after I thought they could. So I ended up having to run to the bank before they closed at 6 PM because I’m not that kind to not to give a tip unless it’s warranted.
I showed Kim my nails when I came back and I said this tip is for you. I said these nails -no this is for only foryou.
It is what it is. I am not a girly girl so this is not gonna affect me beyond the day.
Kim : she did a fantastic 🎉 fabulous🤩 fabulous job on my eyebrows and my feet. I will go back for a pedi and for eyebrows -if she wants to do a mani too I will go for that, but I will definitely book a double appointment with her: Kim.
It’s a solid NOPE for a mani with polish with Roger. But I’m honest- I honestly don’t wear nail polish super often and had I not gotten nail polish. It would’ve been a solid work-manicure or male-manicure.
Either way with all that spewing bit of ranting a I’m definitely going back. Love me some Princess Spa!

Aspinwall was fantastic! It was easy to book appointments with them. For the evaluation of my water heater issue, they sent the plumber, Falcon. He was efficient, professional and very knowledgeable. He was so great that I requested him to do the repairs. The company obliged and within days, he was here with parts he ordered, on time and the same great attitude. A plumbing issue can be stressful but he made it so easy for me! Thank you Falcon and Aspinwall.

The installation of our new kitchen sink and faucet was perfect. Every connection was secure, and the work area was spotless afterward.

I really appreciated the work Paul and his team did at my home (panel updates, outlet upgrades, and sump pump battery backup installation/setup). Paul was really easy to talk to and generous/knowledgable in helping me understand the work and addressing questions. Awesome team - highly recommend and would absolutely work with him again.
I was looking for someone to both install and service a generator at my house, and a good friend who is an Electrician recommended Electrician Don Noll, owner of Mass Generators. I found it very easy to talk to Don about various generators and options, and he was very upfront about everything. Within a few days he came by my house to do a site visit, discuss my expectations, as well as the best way to set things up. While we were going through the house, I mentioned that my wife's sewing room could use another outlet, and he took a look and said it would be no problem to throw that in while he was there. After he emailed me a proposal, I had a few questions, and he had no problem chatting with me on the phone about everything and making sure I was at ease with the decision to move forward.
As for the work, he was here promptly when he said he would be, and as he was getting things prepped for the job, his assistant arrived and they got right to work. They were both friendly, courteous, and professional. All said and done, everything was completed as we had discussed, and in a clean and professional manner. He went over the operation of the generator and the transfer switch with me, and suggested I also read the manuals and to be sure to contact him if I had any questions.
I have nothing but praise for Don, as well as his crew, and I highly recommend him.

Tom was prompt to respond to my inquiry and was very quick in arranging a date to begin work. His team showed up on time and were very respectful of our home. They did a fantastic job refinishing our red oak hardwood floors that were in horrible shape!! They were fast, efficient, and did immaculate work. We will call Damien Floors again in the future! I hired TempCo floors to resurface my 1008sf home and lay new flooring in the kitchen and dinning room in preparation to list it for sale. They worked with my schedule to plan it two months out. The owner, Matt, was impressively responsive throughout the whole process. He answered all my questions and responded quickly.
When it came time to do the work, I stopped in the check on the progress and the workers stopped and was proud to show their work. Which gave me confidence in hiring them.
After the sanding and refinishing were complete the owner reached out to communicate the next steps for the kitchen and dining room floors.

Todd was recommended to us for lawn fertilization and weed control by a local landscaper when we bought our place in Quincy 16 years ago. He's very reliable, reasonably priced, and is quite possibly the nicest man you'll ever meet. After every visit he leaves a hand-written note, stating what he did, any suggestions he had, and what's next in the season. He does drive-bys and sometimes leaves notes to inform you of why he didn't do an application (not enough rain, etc). When my kids were small, my wife had concerns about fertilizer in the yard, and he happily switched up the kinds of fertilizer he used to help ease her worries. Can't recommend him enough.

Dr McDonough is the best ! I highly recommend her especially if you are like me and not fond of the dentist. I came to her with a very bad toothache after years of avoiding the dentist and not only did she take care of me right away with no judgement, she has continued to provide the best dental care I have ever had.
I have extreme anxiety about going to the dentist. Making the appointment, going to the appointment, and certainly during the visit. The office staff is patient, polite, and understanding. The hygienist that got me through my first cleaning when I moved to the area was maybe not a tooth fairy but a tooth queen!! I’ve now had my second cleaning and was able to get through it with ease!

Dr Fortes is the sweetest person very humble and she will not judge you no matter what state your teeth are in. She is excellent at what she does. Before my wedding last June, I had gone in for a cleaning. I had structural damage to my two front teeth due to an accident that left one tooth having a root canal and both teeth with significant wear on the surface of my teeth due to weakening. Anywho I never thought I could have my smile back from several decades ago… my husband-to-be loving me no matter what my teeth looking like.. however Dr. Fortes saw my dental needs and knew of a solution that she herself has a gift for and graciously sculpted around my teeth a perfectly matched covering that strengthened and protected my teeth while giving me my old smile back. This was a gift for my wedding day for which I waited almost fifty years. God bless Dr. Fortes and her team. Let her work on your smile and receive your dental care from someone who has had a passion for dentistry since childhood. Very kind.

I went to Dr. Dierner in such pain I could barely stand up. Within a couple of visits I was completely pain free. He was able to identify the problem through x-rays and corrected it so quickly! I am a huge fan!
I’ve been here for over a year I came in unable to move Living stuck in bed and this staff is so kind and helpful I’m mobile again and have felt so much relief. The God send is being able to actually move and see my family again 10/10

Dr Harris is a legend. The appointment felt like the first time I was actually seen by a professional that is a master of his craft. He is really concerned with understanding your body with X-ray, measurements and mobility tests, before anything else takes place. Also, he explains everything to you in a simple manner. Truly outstanding service starting with Mary at the front desk and with him. I can't praise his service level enough.
I’ve gone to this office for over 10 years now and everyone there is amazing! I see Dr. Scott who is the best chiropractor I’ve seen… he takes his time and listens to any and all issues you have and addresses them. I originally went in with back problems and considering surgery I now have no back pain and always feel 100% leaving the office. My partner and I brought our cat in for an ear infection visit yesterday after never having been in, and we will absolutely be returning as regulars. The entire team was so friendly and knowledgeable. Special shoutout to Michaela - they were so funny and made us feel immediately at ease. We had so much fun! Our family of 4 mom dad and 20 something kids decided to do a private tour. We had tour guide Jack B so knowledgeable and taught us so much ! What an absolutely fun time learning about local an other animals. Can not recommend enough!
I can’t express my gratitude to EVERYONE involved in the car op my bearded dragon ( Oopse)!!! my bearded dragon had a large mass under his neck That was getting so large it would he couldn’t even get his tongue to come out of his mouth anymore. I was hand feeding him, but I was so scared because I couldn’t afford the very costly surgery. that he needed to save his life, but thanks to the people at Odd Pet Vet and all the donors out there who always pitch in and help out Odd Pet Vet. We were able to work something out and get Oopsie the surgery that he needed. Oopsie is currently doing amazing.!! and has been given a second chance thanks to everybody at Odd Pet Vet!!!!
Grace grooms my granddog Luna and she is the best groomer for Luna. Luna loves her. Grace goes above and beyond for Luna. An Luna always comes out looking great and smells good too.

I am so lucky I found Lucky Dog Salon and Jeff who is the Groomer. Not only does Jeff always do a great job, he befriends all the dogs that he grooms. I have two dogs, one is a little Yorkie and one is a medium Golden Doodle. Both of my dogs love to go see Jeff. If I mention his name they get all excited. But the best part is how he is so good with the dogs that he is able to groom them without any problems. He is so kind to the animals and they feel this which makes them want to come back. I highly recommend Lucky Dog Salon on Bridge Street in Weymouth. I have always owned a dog and I have never ever had a better groomer or kinder person then Jeff. Trust me, you will not regret bringing your animals to Jeff.
The absolute best! My dachshund loves going to daycare and the staff are so friendly. My cockapoo has also been groomed many times by Isabella and she does an awesome job each time. Highly recommend ???

There are two sunshine spas in Weymouth mass I have been to the one at 51 Winter St. many times.
I have always received a good massage and treated professionally.
They are on the second floor and have plenty of parking. It is also very clean.
The bad reviews and the girls named must be from the other sunshine spa do not confuse them.
Ask for Alice at 51 Winter St. spa she is the owner very professional. I have had massage from her other girls. They are all very good.

I've been seeing Tracy for massages at Hand & Stone for about four years now, and at this point I refuse to let anyone else deal with the knots I've collected from life. She's amazing, always knows exactly where the problem areas are, and somehow manages to make me feel like a functioning human again every time I leave.
Today I had my very first facial with Rebecca, and DAMN, I get the hype now. She was so kind, explained everything, and had my skin feeling smoother than it has any right to be. I left glowing and spent the rest of the day looking for excuses to check my reflection.
