Associate Roofing, Inc.
“After receiving quotes from more than ten roofing contractors for a full roof replacement on my home in Wellesley, I chose Associate Roofing and I'm glad I did.
What set Associate apart from the very beginning was the initial inspection. John MacDonald was thorough in a way that went beyond what even the other diligent contractors delivered. While several contractors did climb up and inspect the roof, John took the time to explain each component he was looking at, checked areas others simply passed over, and identified critical issues no one else caught. He was the only one who looked closely enough at the sunroom to find missing wood boards in the decking, a defect that every other contractor overlooked entirely. Throughout the whole process, John was patient, professional, and genuinely easy to work with.
That thoroughness carried directly into the quote. The scope was detailed, specific, and transparent. No vague line items, no allowances that would balloon into change orders. In fact, when the final quote came in, they had actually built in coverage for up to 96 linear feet of wood rot replacement at no additional cost, because John had already seen the attic and knew what to expect. That's the opposite of a lowball-and-upcharge approach.
The installation itself went smoothly from start to finish. The crew was professional, the property was protected, and the cleanup was thorough.
In a market full of contractors who tell you what you want to hear to win the job, John and Associate Roofing stood out by doing the work upfront to actually understand what my house needed. For a project this significant, that integrity was the deciding factor. Highly recommend.”
