I’m sharing this so that I can tell you about how wonderful A Pets Life South Shore is.
We started taking our almost 6 month puppy there in March after having a frustrating experience in another. Tobin is an Australian Shepherd/Lab Mix that we rescued from Scituate animal shelter. He’s also deaf.
This means that he can’t respond to verbal cues, and he also cannot take cues from other dogs when he plays too rough which is how dogs usually learn from each ñother.
He has been going to training since the day he came home to us. He is an exceptionally smart dog and really eager to learn and please.
At the previous Day Care, we were going to we found that every day we would pick him up a different staff would tell us something different about Tobin. It became really frustrating because we didn’t know what we should be working on with him and had hoped that they would be working with him a little bit too based on how they present themselves.
When I had finally had enough, I reached out to Colleen at A Pets Life. I brought Tobin in to meet her and some of her team and I can say for Tobin, it was love at first sight. He absolutely loves his days there and comes home happy and exhausted. Every time we pick him up, we can see how much they care about him and how well he is treated. He just spent the first two nights outside of our home using their boarding and he really enjoyed himself. To start- The service person arrived within the timeframe they said. Jon was the technician, He was professional and very knowledgeable and quick to diagnose the issue and then fix it. He also recommend additional work that should be done for the older system we have To prevent bigger cost later because the age of the system

Dennis got back to us quickly and was out within a few days to rewire and replace all of them. He was such a pleasure to work with-courteous, professional, knowledgeable, friendly, on time. Highly recommend!!!!

I had my hair done for my wedding by Amanda. I was beyond impressed because I have fine naturally curly hair and it was quite humid on the day of my wedding. So you know what that means. My hair looked as fresh 8hrs-10hrs later as it did when I left. Not too many stylists can accomplish that feat. Highly recommend Amanda for updos especially those who struggle finding someone who knows how to work with curly hair on humid days so it doesn't frizz out on you.

Absolutely love coming here for my hair appointments! The space is so aesthetically pleasing and beautifully designed — it has such a welcoming and relaxing vibe. The music was great, and you can really tell the stylists enjoy what they do because everyone was so happy, friendly, and upbeat.
I usually go to Erin for my balayage, and it always comes out absolutely perfect! She is so sweet and professional, and I trust her dying my hair any day. I’ll definitely be back to see her again soon before summer starts! She wasn’t available on the only day I was free for a trim, so this time I booked with Jess, who I had never seen before.
Jess was amazing! She helped me find the right products to heal my dry scalp, which I really appreciated. My haircut was exactly what I asked for — just a trim all around with layers and angles cleaned up while still keeping them growing out naturally. She listened carefully and executed it perfectly.

Fantastic Salon! I decided to treat myslef to a pedicure and I’m glad I did! The salon is beautifully decorated and spotless. I was able to be taken right away as a walk in, enjoyed the Muse Pedicure, and left relaxed and happy.

Been coming here for four years and always have great service and long lasting pedicures. Amy and her team work so hard. They do get busy but are always able to balance walk ins and appointments. It is so clean and her team is made up of long standing employees and each one is professional and kind. I moved 30 minutes away but still drive back because I know I can count on a beautiful result. Not one has ever upsold me or argued with me but I have sadly seen people treat them poorly and make unreasonable demands. Glossy gets five stars!

I'll start off by saying that prior to becoming a patient here, I was pretty skeptical about chiropractic medicine. I'd been to multiple practitioners with no real results.
With that said, Dr. Brendan and Dr. Amanda are true healers. They have a gift. I've suffered from chronic lower back pain for decades and was considering surgery as an option...until I went here.
After 5 or 6 visits my pain was totally gone. They meticulously worked to realign my skeleton and muscles back into symmetry and my pain is virtually gone. I live a pretty active life so I'm always getting knots or aches, so I come in regularly for adjustments. But as far as the chronic pain goes, they fixed me.
The best overall joint and muscle health! I travel an hour because they are that good.

My job requires me to stand all day and I’m a very active person between exercise, playing hockey and skiing. When I start to feel the knots coming on I know it’s time to call Barbara. She’s absolutely the best I know and I’ve been seeing massage therapists for over 30 years in the Boston area.

Went for the first time today and had a really good massage. I mentioned some places I had knots and needed attention. Rebecca (notbsure if that's the correct spelling) got the stubborn knot out of my neck that has been there for months. She also targeted some areas i didnt even know needed attention but I am telling you, I needed them and I felt more limber and able to move easier and thats not normally how I feel when I get massages at other places. Usually its difficult to get up move off the table, after a massage. Today it was easy! Like she unlocked something I didnt even know was locked!! I went in with a gift card to use up and I walked out lighter, and lil oily, but signed up as a membership because I realized I had forgotten what it felt like to have a spring in my step. Literally.
Went to 2 other Pt places when I broke my ankle and had no results. This place did a great job. I am now back again with a bad back and have no complaints this place performs miracles.
