Been getting haircuts here since high school in 2002. Steve is great. The prices are reasonable. If you're in need of a stylist or barber, I've used him for both over the years. Highly recommended.
This place is a trauma center for hair. Steve has an impressive resume and is a true master artist. Great vibes, great hair, great prices. Call Steve now...thank me later. Best experience I have ever had in a salon.
Have to say this business is a true GEM. Have been going to Liz for 30+ years, but Halstead Haircutters is by far the most warm and inviting. She always does exactly what I want and has great suggestions, if I am indecisive. Great colorist!!! Steve, the owner, is a very personable and funny guy. His chair is never empty while I am there. The shop is very comfortable and clean. Great place overall!!!! On a side note, they have the Covid 19 regulations in place and following them to a T. (Stations are sanitized after each client and masks are worn). They allow only one client for each stylist in the shop at all times.
