The team, including the owner, is always extremely reliable, respectful, and helpful. They handle everything from replacing old boilers and switching homes from oil to natural gas, to installing new hot water heaters, fixing leaks, replacing garbage disposals, and installing multiple new toilets and faucets. Customers note that the team will never try to upsell or charge for things that are not needed. Their responsiveness is outstanding; they often pick up the phone in the evening and can send a truck the same day. They assess issues quickly and replace equipment immediately, making stressful situations incredibly easy. The plumbers are described as courteous, neat, affordable, and hardworking—once working three hours straight to clear decades of buildup from a drain. Any small problems or adjustments during installation are handled professionally and quickly. Customers have waited months to test equipment before reviewing, confirming the work is definitely worth the money. Many wish they had found this company sooner and will continue using them as long as they are in business. South Weymouth Plumbing & Heating is hands down the best company in the area.
I’ve waited 6 months (through winter) to give this review to make sure I tested the install and equipment before providing feedback. I can tell you right now, look no further. These guys are great and know what they are doing. I had an old boiler removed and replaced with and standard (slightly more efficient) Burnham X205 and had them switch me from oil to natural gas which required the removal of the oil tank and brand new gas line/plumbing since this did not exist in the house before.
I also asked them to zone our 4-season room to ensure that room stayed warm enough during the winter. This was a game changer.

Outstanding service from start to finish. I reported a leaking water tank and was contacted the very next day. The team arrived promptly, assessed the issue quickly, and replaced the tank immediately. Their responsiveness, professionalism, and efficiency made a stressful situation incredibly easy. It’s rare to find a company that acts with such urgency and care—highly recommend!

The owner, James, and his team are always extremely reliable, respectful, and very knowledgeable.
Unfortunately we used a couple of different companies (prior to finding out about South Weymouth Plumbing & Heating) and just wish that we found them sooner!
We’ve had James and his team fix everything from leaks, replacing a garbage disposal, installed multiple new toilets & faucets; and most recently, identifying and resolving a major issue with our heating system.
