“Let me begin by thanking the previous reviewers because their feedback helped me decide to visit Dr. Le last month. My family and I have been seeing the same optometrist in a nearby town for over 20 years. However, some recent experiences left me wanting to try someone else. I am so glad I made the decision to visit Dr. Le. In my first visit, she examined my eyes and found a condition that can lead to a retina tear. Dr. Le helped me get an appointment with a highly regarded ophthalmic practice. An ophthalmologist addressed the issue the same day. The ophthalmologist told me that I probably had the condition for around two years based on the scar tissue. He gave Dr. Le (who he doesn't know) a lot of credit for identifying a barely visible problem. He said that he could have missed it himself. Beyond the eye issue, Dr. Le was very thorough in examining my eyes, filling my prescriptions, and fitting me for the best glasses and contact lens. She is friendly, explains things effectively, and provides compassionate eye care. I would highly recommend Dr. Le to my family, friends, and anyone who is looking for an optometrist.“

“I had purchased a beautiful Zegna frame online from SmartBuyGlasses and had them fulfill a prescription from my ophthalmologist's office. I turned out that the online measurements were off and my PD was incorrect and the glasses sent were difficult to wear. Since SmartBuys' solution was to pick new frames, I searched for a local optician who would be willing to cut new lenses for them. I found Drizik and traveled into speak with Umberto. He discovered the incorrect PD, verified the prescription and was able to recut the lenses. I was so happy, that I had him cut computer version for me of the prescription. Both pairs are a perfect fit and very comfortable to wear. Stellar service from him and the lab. Rest assured I now know where to go in the future. You can't go wrong at this shop.“

Sarah and Michael have also helped me repair sunglasses on two separate occasions (an old pair and my new ones that I damaged). “The Harvard Vanguard (aka Atrius/Optum) Optical shops, my go-to for decades, closed recently. When I found the Eye Store on Yelp, I figured, "How could I go wrong with 115 almost unanimous 5 star reviews?" Right, the service is outstanding. John, the owner, is patient, soft-spoken, and well organized. He noticed that the threads on my frame's screws were stripped, so he replaced them. Best of all, the new lenses give me such clear vision, and at a distance I'd never experienced. True, some of the credit goes to the ophthalmologist who wrote the prescription, but John's expertise deserves equal credit. John accepted by health insurance and --BONUS--the lenses cost about 50% less that what I had paid at Harvard Vanguard.“

“Audrey went very much above and beyond for me. I have a couple different fairly mild problems besides just "needs reading glasses," but I am sensorally (is it a word? it is now) a total snowflake. I had previously just given up glasses because my last Rx gave me headaches (and my previous doc couldn't figure it out). Finally saw a new OD. Brought the Rx to Good Look on a whim. My doctor's first Rx was overkill. Second Rx wasn't overkill, but every glance to my periphery felt swervy and icky. I was about to throw in the towel, but Audrey basically sat with me to try and troubleshoot, taking the extra time that my OD couldn't. Between attempt #2 and attempt #3, Audrey took the initiative to reach out to my last doctor to get a full history of what I'd been wearing (and what really hadn't worked), hypothesized that while most people get used to the corrective lenses for astigmatism, my eyes just weren't having it. Audrey redid the lens again with less than a day's turnaround and comped half of round #2 and all of round #3. I am wearing those glasses right now to type this review up. These glasses are awesome. And Audrey is also unequivocally awesome. I will definitely be back when I need more glasses.“

“I had an excellent visit with Dr. Ding; he was complete and comprehensive in his examination of my vision and my eye health. As a result I was fitted with trial contact lenses; the first pair were not exactly to my liking so they immediately ordered a second brand to try. After trying these lenses I was very happy so they were quickly ordered for me. “I'm so glad to have found Emilie and Julie at Highland Optician in Newton Highland, MA, who have fitted my glasses superbly and much better than any other optician I had previously used.I need glasses which are very difficult for many opticians to get right, including refraction, prisms both vertical and horizontal and astigmatism. And I get glasses which include progressive and transition lenses. A large mall optician was never able to get them right, which forced me to return to its store to get the glasses adjusted to permit me to see clearly.I just purchased my second pair of glasses from Emilie and they are perfect, just like my previous pair.
