The team is kind, efficient, and genuinely cares about patients, taking the time to explain procedures and address concerns. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the doctors are very personal. They take time to answer all questions and provide helpful explanations. Patients receive the best vision care and eye health care possible. The team works directly with medical insurance and medical specialists to diagnose medical conditions affecting vision. Special shout out to Diane who works to select and fit frames that work best with prescriptions and still look great. While prices may be relatively higher, the accuracy and quality of their work, including made-on-premises glasses, make it worthwhile. With easy parking and a welcoming atmosphere, General Optical Co. is a trusted choice for eye care, with many patients recommending them to others.

I have been going here for years. I love this staff - they are knowledgeable and helpful. Starting with Dr. Klaahsen, who found things in my eyes that helped alert me to potential issues.
I did have two spontaneous retinal detachments and two cataract surgeries, all of which really messed up my prescriptions. Dr. Klaashen and the rest of the staff knew what I needed and how best to address the changing conditions along the way.
Could I get cheaper glasses? Yes, a little cheaper, but everything our family has gotten from General Optical has been fabulous.
Go here. You won't regret it.

I had a wonderful experience at General Optical with Dr. Thakore. From check-in to the final consultation, the visit was smooth, efficient, and genuinely pleasant. Dr. Thakore took the time to walk me through each part of my exam, answered my questions thoroughly, and made sure I understood my results before I left. It's clear the practice values patient care over rushing people through appointments.
