I WISH I FOUND THIS PLACE YEARS AGO! My eyes are complicated: I failed the kindergarten sight test and now (age 54) have one near-sighted eye and one far-sighted eye. I've paid my dues (twice!) with progressives and all I want is TO SEE! ... If you also visit the eye doctor with a bag full of glasses, do yourself a favor and visit A New Gopen.
Located in Dedham Square sits a welcoming eyeglasses shop. Services provided are an exam and or trying on glasses (or replacement frames or lenses). the owner is a no pressure but highly motivated man. Come in and look around or get the work done. Competitive prices and perfect service.
I have known the owner since I was in elementary school. He is knowledgeable, patient and seems to remember all of his clients! I can't recommend this place enough for your optical needs!
