Most recently, I had a 90-minute treatment with Colette Legarrigues, L. Ac., who practices acupuncture and acupressure. As has been the case with each practitioner I have seen in the office over the years, following the treatment there was some immediate improvement, the usual and welcome feeling of greater energy balance, and a continuing stream of positive results over the following days. I live at Yankee Hill Condos in Leeds and they do the landscaping there. They have done a wonderful job, and have been VERY contentious with what they do. We all have been quite pleased with them and the staff have always been pleasant. I was looking up their phone number and came across the other reviewer. I don’t know the whole situation that happened there, but we have all been pleased with them so that’s why we continue our relationship with them.
Marisa and the entire team at Forest Flowers are incredible at what they do! We had a very thorough planning meeting where we discussed mood boards for the wedding and what particular flower varieties we prefer. As our guest count shifted a bit toward the end of our planning, Marisa helped us plan what we could do with our extra budget to further enhance our floral arrangements. On the day of the wedding, I was absolutely blown away with how beautiful everything came together. We still dream of how perfect our florals were! From our aisle meadow, to the bouquets, to the table decor, everything was perfect. To top it all off, they also helped my husband surprise me with a bouquet in the bridal suite while I was getting ready! I cannot recommend working with Forest Flowers enough!

I have been getting my nails done for over 15 years, and it is so hard to come by a place that is so personalized and special like Lucy's. Recently in the last year, I wanted to start getting my nails done at places that were smaller and more personalized, and this is as personalized and private as it gets!
When we first walked in, Lucy made us feel very welcomed and at ease. You are the only person there and all the attention is focused on you. Lucy was so accommodating that she let my mom and I come in together and hang out with each other.
Lucy is very funny and keeps the conversation going. Her attention to detail is amazing, as I was getting a more complicated design. She has a lot of patience and wanted to get the design just right and make sure I was happy without rushing. You can tell that she really enjoys what she's doing through her work.
I already booked my refill with the same nail design even before I left Lucy's place for a refill for for my gel-x tips and design.
Although there are nail salons that are much closer to me, driving half an hour is definitely going to be worth it to me each time to get my nails done at Lucy's for more gel-x tips and gel pedicures!

Hodgecity Plumbing has great customer service. They were recommended by a friend of mine when I needed my Central AC unit replaced. I left a message and they returned my call the next day, set up an appointment for an estimate. They were respectful down to earth and answered all my questions, including when my estimate would be ready. I even received a call the day of install to update me on time of arrival. I was kept in the loop throughout the whole process. Customer service is beyond excellent, the quality of work professional, no clean up required by me and finally the cost was reasonable. They earned a new customer. Great, local HVAC and plumbing service!

Valley Home improvement gets my highest recommendations! They did an excellent job soundproofing and upgrading my front bedroom. Their work is extremely professional, and their attention to detail is impressive. The upgrade definitely increased the value of my home, the room looks great, and it is so much quieter than any other room in the house. Everyone on the VHI team was nice and easy to work with, and they were very accommodating with my scheduling needs. I am very grateful several of my neighbors highly recommended them.
Steve came to eradicate capenter ants and spiders. He explained the process, was poilte, prompt and professional, and was a straight shooter. When I shared hoping that I wounldn't need a treatment again next summer he patiently expalined that eleminating one colony would not keep another from moving into my yard next summer. Then he quoted me a price that was less than half of what I had gotten from his competetors. Steve cautioned me that the treatment may take up to 2 weeks for full effecitveness but within 3 days all the ants were gone, and no sign of spiders. If I happen to need pest contorl in the future I know who to call!!
We had a minor mouse problem that we didn’t want to become a big problem. Minuteman was our first call. Jacklyn in the office was so helpful and got us scheduled right away. Ethan, the technician who came, was great. He was knowledgeable, friendly and explained everything that we needed to know. He was able to answer all our questions. Richard and his team are wonderful. In addition to quality walkway installation and driveway paving around our neighborhood, they installed for us a retaining wall and gravel pad for a large shed a few years ago, and this summer a beautiful backyard patio. I’m very grateful for the expert care that was provided by Bartlett Tree Experts. As advertised, the services were expert in quality. A big shout out to Cassandra and Devontay, who were both affable and hardworking. They answered our questions with patience and explained the work that was underway and the maintenance efforts needed in the future. While a lot of pruning took place, their clean up efforts left barely a footprint. I would recommend them highly to anyone in need of expert tree care.

I saw Dr Denny during my pregnancy and I’m so glad I did! I do hair for weddings so I’m on my feet for 6 or 7 hours straight with no breaks. While pregnant my sciatic pain would be so bad I couldn’t walk the next day after working a wedding. That all changed with the chiropractic care I got! It was life changing. I have two other little kids so I needed to be able to care for them and that’s really hard to do with sciatic pain. This was by far the least pain I had in any of my pregnancies! And the easiest delivery! I wish I had seen Dr Denny with my first two. Front desk was very friendly with great communication and Dr Denny was very knowledgeable and caring.

I brought my dog here, after bringing her to Westbrook veterinary hospital..... where they didn't do a real examination. They found that my dog had cancer all over her body. I brought my dog so I can know why she was not herself. Because Westbrook veterinarians, didn't do the job. Westbrook formally was litchenberg veterinary hospital. I was very emotional learning that my dog I had for 8yrs. Had to be put down. The staff at the integrity veterinary clinic were all very understanding and professional. They helped me at this very difficult time. This is for integrity veterinary center 318 pleasant st.
Dr. Ksiazek is the best Veterinarian I have ever been to. She is not only incredibly smart about animals, but she understands what an important part of the family they are. Her assessments and recommendations are always helpful and she has helped me figure out the right time to say goodbye to animals when it was their time to go all with a kind and empathic heart. My kitties and I love the team at the Cat Hospital! It is a calm healing environment with good energy— especially for nervous kitties! You can tell that Dr. Ricksgers and the staff live and breathe all things feline. Their passion for cats is palpable. They treat my boys with the best of care and we’ve been coming here for two years. They are also involved with a local rescue and they’ve saved countless lives. I also like that the office is incredibly clean and COVID-cautious, because I get sick very easily.
I can’t say enough good things about Florence Animal Clinic. Both Dr. Lorenzo and Dr. Kefer are truly wonderful. I’ve trusted them with the care of multiple cats. They are knowledgeable, compassionate, and thoughtful in how they approach treatment. They take the time to explain options, answer questions, and make sure you feel supported every step of the way.
I also really appreciate their judgment and honesty. When something requires more specialized attention, they’re thoughtful about referring out rather than trying to do everything in-house, which speaks volumes about their professionalism and commitment to what’s best for the animal.

Love this place for daycare and boarding! The people are smart and friendly and really work on positive training with the dogs as well as encouraging plenty of play and fun. My two dogs love it there!

This is a glowing review! I've been practicing at Karuna since I moved to the area and it reopened after Covid closures in 2021. I have "shopped around" the whole valley for quality yoga instruction and Karuna is it. Paul is a wealth of knowledge and I am being genuine when I say that every class I go to teaches me something new about my body/form and I've been practicing yoga since 2008. It's truly a gem. Paul and also Suzie offer high quality classes and deep knowledge of the practice. (I don't know the other teachers well) They both have years of experience and can differentiate for any body and make everyone feel welcome and included. The studio itself is gorgeous and so conveniently located right on Main St in Northampton. I always leave feeling lighter, better, taller, and more myself regardless of what's going on in my world!

Alison treated me for two years for long Covid. With cranial-sacral therapy, she relaxed my body and melted away the pain. I am 85 percent recovered. Was it because of her? Certainly, she sped the journey along, relieving the chest pain and muscle ache. Alison is attentive to who you are. She wants to know your goals, how you feel about your body. If you don’t fall asleep, she will tell you about what she feels in your body. She consults with other cranial-sacral therapist on how to best treat patients with a variety of illnesses. She is a punctual professional who cares about her patients. If only everyone could have her as a therapist.
Ted demonstrated a high level of patient care and extensive knowledge in therapeutic practice. He took the time to thoroughly discuss my needs and potential solutions with me, rather than immediately addressing the problem with a high degree of accuracy. His approach was effective in helping me, and I am eager to continue our collaboration.

I cannot recommend Joanna’s facials, highly enough for the ultimate pampering experience. From the moment I settle into the warmth of her heated table until the time comes when I float out the door I feel safe and cared about. As Joanna applies the various creams and potions with her skillful hands, I find myself dropping completely into my body, out of my busy head and time is suspended. Any remaining tension. Is relieved as she massages my neck and gently works my pressure points.
An added benefit has been friends commenting on how good my skin looks. No doubt as a result of the regular peels she has given me In addition to the care and precision with waxing and dying my eyebrows. I’m so grateful to be in her caring hands.

Alexandre is very skilled and trained in various techniques used to treat pain of many types. Massage is one type of treatment, but it's very refreshing to be educated through the process of healing in order to be able to stand up healthy and strong again. I am very happy with my experience here at his office.
Ezra traveled to my house for a massage therapy visit. He's very good at trigger points and He helped relieve my back pain. I felt taller and lighter afterwards! He's also very nice and responsive.

Emet is a master at what they do. The space is quiet, meditative and inviting. They take the time to ask questions and learn about your body and what brings you there. I've never left a massage studio feeling more at ease and relaxed in my body. Great wellness spot in downtown Northampton.

I just had my first session with Justin and loved it. I had a 90 minute massage followed by a 30 minute reiki and enjoyed every minute. He has strong hands which were pleasantly warm. The pressure was firm as I had requested and was perfect. I’ve received massages from many practitioners and Justin is on the top 5 for sure.
Ori was fantastic! They were very attentive and specific. I went with very tight shoulders and neck and lower back pain. When they were done, I felt so much better! My shoulders were relaxed and Ori gave me great advice on how to continue working out some of the lower back issues I have. Their massage was better than most full body massages I've had. I'll definitely be back!

Brando is skilled at seeing where the work is needed and at gently untying the fascial knots. He communicates well, and is respectful, never forcing change, but encouraging it. His fascial work is much more gentle than much that I have had, and is also quite effective.
I recently started my first journey into the world of acupuncture and Eastern Medicine. Whole Body Healing provides a relaxing, clean and professional environment. Junie at the front desk is welcoming and friendly. My provider Melanie Pepper spent a generous amount of time with me to learn about mental and physical weights I might carry from day to day to help create a plan to address the most pressing of these. I feel completely at ease and trust her advice and care. I trust Melanie so much that without hesitation I referred my daughter who deals with chronic pain to her.
In addition to being incredibly reassuring Melanie is warm and funny. I appreciate her and am grateful to have found her and Whole Body Healing.

From helping me manage the long term effects of a neck injury to stress reduction and even helping to heal a badly sprained ankle with incredible hast, her wisdom and skilled hands make my life better.
