“Chris gave us an itemized quote for materials and labor, (which no other plumber we interviewed was able or willing to do). He and his crew of 3, Tyler, Christian, and Nick, arrived as scheduled. They wore covers over their shoes and put down quilted mats to protect our floors. The clothes dryer had to be removed to access the space for the water heater, and they did this with great care.After they removed the old water heater, and reinstalled the dryer, Chris explained the workings of the new water heater. He gave us instructions for registering the water heater with HTP so we could get the free extended warranty. All in all, an excellent job! Thanks Chris. It's so hard to find a good plumber. He was booked the day I called, but was able to fit us in within a day to come take a look at our fridge. He called the evening before to confirm the appointment, and arrived right on time. “I had them install a Mitsubishi mini split in one room of my house. I talked to a few companies and they had the best pricing and were the only one that performed a calculation to determine the best size for my installation. Everyone else quoted systems 2-3 times larger which didn't make any sense. The installation was quick and they kept things clean and protected even though it started pouring out. Brian was really friendly and kept me informed throughout and walked me through the system once it was up and running.“

“Eric and his crew installed a new central Carrier A/C system for me over the summer. I'm fairly technical and a DIYer but Eric taught me a lot about how the A/C would work with my existing Carrier Infinity furnance, e.g., a 2-stage system might not work as expected with it. So I decided to go with the 1-stage and am very happy with it.DAVCO set itself apart from other contractors I've worked with by the quality of the install, e.g., they used a new solid platform for the condenser and it is perfectly parallel with the house. Their measurements and recordings of the A/C output after the install were a nice touch as well.I highly recommend DAVCO and will continue to use them for all my HVAC servicing needs.“
“I highly recommend Interstate Plumbing. Jaime came to look at what we thought was a leaking pipe in our basement ceiling as water started dripping suddenly from light fixtures. Jamie came first thing and instead of immediately cutting holes in the ceiling, as many would have done, hunted around and determined the leak was coming from our fridge water line and not a pipe after all. “Our house has a non-standard heating and A/C arrangement, and the gas furnace for the upstairs developed a crack in the heat exchanger. James was one of three contractors that provided an estimate for replacing the system with a HE furnace and new A/C. He was very responsive, and actually spent time with me explaining various system options, and working out the details of how he would install the intake & exhaust piping. This was very important to me since the furnace is in a difficult location, and it required a lot of thought as to how best to route the pipes through the walls and through side of the house. We were also very impressed by his high BBB rating, so we selected him to do the work. James had the equipment delivered within two days and began installing it the next day since the nights were getting colder. He was very much hands-on working directly on the project with his team. They had the old furnace and A/C removed and the pipes run on the first day, and the new furnace installed and operational on the second day, just in time for the first really cold night. On the last day, he had the A/C installed and running, ready for next summer. Without adding to the cost, he included new tubing to the condenser, the additional refrigerant needed for the extra distance, and a new thermostat.The new system is working great. James did everything he said he would and we are very happy with the results. This was a significant project for us, and our experience with him was excellent. I can highly recommend him.“

I had a great experience with the Prevett Team from the initial scheduling through to installation of a new gas furnace. They were onsite for an initial inspection within an hour and provided options for service as well as replacement. Since this furnace was 30 years old, We opted to go with a new unit and it was installed within 2 days. The quality of work was excellent. It’s good to know that there are still companies like this!!“

“A neighbor referred me to Di Matteo Plumbing. I was looking at replacing an old water heater 50 gal tank to a small energy efficient tankless water heater. I had received quotes for several big name plumbing companies in the area. This was a bigger job but I did some research on costing etc and the big companies were off the reservation. DiMatteo was the only company that provided me a reasonable quote and I liked the idea of the father/son family concept. I didn't really vet whether they did these changeouts but entrusted them with the project. I was NOT disappointed. Enio guided by dad did a BANGOUT JOB. They did go above and beyond my expectations. They came on-time, did the job in the expected timeframe and built a custom shelf for the water to be snuggly mounted into the wall. The only hiccup in the operation was when my dog Cosmo took the liberty of introducing himself to Enio's dad. Enio's dad does not like dogs. They even fixed the blemishes that the other high priced plumbers left without asking. 5 stars. I highly recommend Di Matteo plumbing.“
