Like many HVAC companies, Reardon was entering a busy holiday weekend and was backed up with emergency calls, with the earliest available appointment being days away. Instead of simply telling me to wait, Chris asked a few questions and, after learning I was handy and comfortable attempting a simple repair myself, took the time to troubleshoot the issue with me over the phone. He helped narrow it down to a failed capacitor, explained exactly what replacement part I needed, and answered my questions along the way.

A quick trip to pick up the part (btw, Chris called the part store in advance to confirm the part availability to save a wasted trip) and a simple swap later, our AC was back up and running the very same day.

That level of customer service is hard to find. Chris and his team could have easily put me on the schedule and left it at that, but instead they took the time to help solve the problem.

My wife and I bought our dream home about 4 years ago but found out the hard way about some systems that needed upgrading - a central A/C condenser that needed to be replaced at the peak of summer, a tankless hot water system that stopped getting hot right when the weather started getting cold, and then most recently, our second zone A/C condenser stopped working right before the major heatwave of July 2026 hit. “We had an incredible experience with this plumber (Richard?), and I can’t recommend him highly enough. When our hot water accessory tank failed, our usual repair team told us it would be three weeks before they could fit us in. With a family of six, that meant no hot showers, no dishwasher, and no warm water for laundry—such a bummer.
