“I had an incredible experience with Kris from Jeneral Plumbing. What started as an expected clearing of the P-trap underneath the sink changed substantially by the end of the day.

First, Kris offered a detailed explanation why the P-trap underneath my sink needed to be updated due to its age and design. It would also be constructed in a way that would allow my wife or myself to clear it routinely avoiding costly visits in the future. This is not something a run-of-the-mill plumber does, but Kris wants homeowners to understand their systems and build better habits. We agreed on a reasonable price for the project and he went to work.

After the install, Kris realized that our clogged drain was coming from somewhere further down the line. Him and I went downstairs and the clog was somewhere in the piping from after the newly installed P-trap to the main plumb line out of the house. Again, Kris offered thorough explanation as to what he would do, how he would do it, and why. He opened up two clean outs and worked hard, well past his expected leave time, to address the issue. Four hours later, the system was back to running cleanly.

I asked Kris that he charge the extra fee of a drain clearing onto the P-trap install, but he would not budge on the agreed upon price that he had estimated at the beginning of the visit. I was floored by this.

We had an emergency at our slab foundation home where the pipes were leaking in the foundation, but were not accessible and leak could not be located without specialized equipment. We hired Bill and his team to re-route the water supply piping for the entire house using PEX, locating them high on the wall where crown molding could cover. During the consultation, Bill came up with a plan on routing through the house with the least amount of disruption and drywall opening possible. Scheduling the work was quick and the project took about a week. Bill called with any changes needed or just at the end of each day with an update. “We woke up Christmas Eve morning and our heat was broken….It was absolutely frigid and approximately 20 degrees outside and only 40 degrees in the house; it was so cold in the house that you could literally see your breath, inside. We called Regan HVAC and although we were on hold for a little, when we got through, we spoke with Jessica, who was SO nice and understanding. As expected, they were absolutely slammed due to the winter storm the night prior. Jessica explained that they were really busy, but they’d send someone out ASAP. About an hour later, the technician Joe arrived at the house. He fixed the heat within 5 minutes and explained the issue in detail and offered solutions. Although, he couldn’t permanently repair the issue as he didn’t have the parts, he still made sure the heat was working before leaving. He said he had about 13 calls after us to go to, but he didn’t rush the repair and was very clear, patiently answering the questions we had.
