Bought house with 20+ year old air conditioner which finally died. I contacted 4 companies for quotes. 3 came to house to look at the situation and one asked me to send photos. So now I'm down to 3. One from a big local firm wanted to measure every room in the house even though I told him the size we had did a good job cooling before it died. It was clear he was looking to up-sell so now I'm down to 2.

The remaining 2 firms had almost identical quotes. So since price wasn't part of the consideration we were looking for service and support. It came down to a big local company vs a very close-by family business.

“I had Tom install two new gas furnaces in our home in late 2019... he had it done during Thanksgiving week, even cutting his vacation short to make sure we were all set because of a complication, making sure we had heat. Since then I have reached out with other issues and he has 100% responded and taken care of things, absolutely no charge. He GENUINELY cares about his customers!!! Today, on a Saturday, I texted him about one of our furnaces not working-- he called me immediately and even though he was out of town on holiday he walked me through some potential fixes and sure enough had me up and running within the hour. “Dee service is a life saver!!! I used a different but reputable HVAC guy first who couldn't figure out the issue and recommended a new furnace. I was a week without heat (low 20s at night) but decided to get a 2nd opinion and saw Dee was recommended on the neighboorhood FB group. I called and they came out same day, figured out the problem in 30 mins or less, they ordered the part, and installed it 2 days later! I wish I called them sooner!! Shout out to Paul, Cindy, and the techs Mike and especially Tom for answering all my questions and explaining the issue. They are excellent assets to your company.
