Having had a Plumber/Heating Company for near 20 yrs when they apparently went out of business suddenly we had to find someone when the fan died on our furnace. My husband looked online and saw great ratings for Modern Heating and A/C and we liked they were local so we called and heard back within 10 minutes!!When my husband explained the problem (which happened 3 years ago as well), it's only a 5 yr old system but not a common one and finding the part last time took a long time. I would recommend this company to anyone who is having issues with your heating or cooling system 100%. Chris is responsive, honest, and flexible with hours when you are in a pinch. I was two days into owning a new home, so money was obviously a concern when my furnace was already giving me problems.* At my request*, every attempt was made to avoid what ended up being the inevitable full furnace replacement (it was just under 30 yrs old). Although I did not end up using the services of Modern Heating & A/C, I'd like to thank the owner, Chris, for being so responsive and willing to come out on a weekend. We talked about the possible problems my boiler could be having, and possible solutions, and he was willing to see what he could do (unlike some other people I spoke to). AND he answers the phone, and responds to texts! When I look for someone to do home repairs, I read reviews like these, and I can see that this company provides great service. I'm glad to know that they are there if I need them!
