She quickly diagnosed and corrected my issue and also clearly explained next steps if the same problem should reoccur. “Dave is a professional , not many guys go the extent that Dave goes while diagnosing a problem, he takes his time because he wants to do it right all while working to stay on schedule, which a lot of people might not understand but can be extremely hard. “Freiner Plumbing, Heating and Cooling responded to my emergency the same day I called! Dave from Freiner came and was very knowledgeable and fixed the leaking shower mixing valve so the leak couldn’t cause further water damage. I have also had the good luck of having Clark and Ken Freiner install a new Burnham boiler a few years ago. Freiner is a family owned company that are honest and professional! They do excellent work and stand behind it, which is rare to find these days.“
“Gallinelli Plumbing is the only service I would use. From day one they have been responsive, attentive and conscientious in their work. I used them for plumbing issues and to hook up a stove. I've also had him work on my mom's house and she was extremely impressed with them. Not sure where the negative review above came from. Does not sound like it's the same plumber from my experience. My 10 years experience!“

Being totally forthright with us, he let us know that based on the building's electric service, the job would not be able to be done legally. I have the most respect for someone in business who knows what they can and cannot do.Biggest regret here is that we can't do business with them based on the dated electric service in the building.“
“Joe was great scheduling an appointment with me - I had a problem with my boiler, so he sent his associate Steve to check on it the very next day. Steve did a great job figuring out the problem; he made sure that we had enough hot water before the next appointment, and a week later he fixed the problem. Steve offered few valuable maintenace tips for me to pay attention to. I am very satisfied with this service, and I would highly recommend this company. Keep up a good work!“

My AC unit was not working & I had a person tell me I had to replace the WHOLE unit plus some but I called Mass Heating, they came right away & fixed it in a 1/2 hour. no parts or anything. The technician was so knowledgeable. I didn't believe him when he came in the house & said you have air conditioning again. WOW they are AWESOME! “Lost hot water at the shower and likely culprit was the Moen PosiTemp cartridge. No problem. Went to HD, bought the cartridge, came home and tried to remove the old one. Hahaha Did. Not. Budge. Tried to rip the thing out for over an hour, but it was so corroded it had fused with the faucet. It was about 4pm when I started to panic. Couldn't put the control valve back together because it was so f broken. Basically an open tap. I looked up a Waltham plumber with some good reviews and called Hickey's Plumbing. Michael answered, understood the problem and said he would be there within the hour. He was there in 40 min. Michael and the guy he was working with were there right away when I needed help, fixed it so I could turn the water back on, ordered the parts and came back in a day to install them. Both Michael and his assistant plumber were fast and professional.“

Jon found and fixed issues with my boiler that were a result of neglect from the prior owner of my current home. “Eric and his crew installed a new central Carrier A/C system for me over the summer. I'm fairly technical and a DIYer but Eric taught me a lot about how the A/C would work with my existing Carrier Infinity furnance, e.g., a 2-stage system might not work as expected with it. So I decided to go with the 1-stage and am very happy with it.DAVCO set itself apart from other contractors I've worked with by the quality of the install, e.g., they used a new solid platform for the condenser and it is perfectly parallel with the house. Their measurements and recordings of the A/C output after the install were a nice touch as well.I highly recommend DAVCO and will continue to use them for all my HVAC servicing needs.“
