Christy is amazing. I'm new to Topeka, having recently moved from another state. I'm thankful for the previous reviews that led me to Touch of Class. I had a picture of the style I was aiming for, told Christy about my problem areas, and asked her to use her discretion to make it all work. She superceded my hopes and expectations! I have always had to see a stylist multiple times before they learned my hair well enough to give me a good cut, but Christy got it right the first time. I've never been more satisfied.

Angie was absolutely excellent she only had time for one of us to get a haircut cuz it was getting late. And of course a woman by herself would worry being out after dark anyway I decided that my husband needed the haircut worse than I did so she told us to be back in about a half an hour and when we got back she was still there and that was great made you feel good you know. The haircuts were only 12 hours but me and my husband both without speaking to the other one both gave her $20 she decided that she was going to stay and cut my hair too when I got back from doing an errand that I had to do down the street while he was getting his haircut I don't think I've ever had a better experience having my haircut she is the ? thank you so much. Lacey is a great barber. Obviously many others agree too. The barbershop is always busy and many of the customers have been using this shop for decades. I only found the shop about a year ago and my decades long search for the barbershop for me ended with my first haircut I got here.

I have been going to this salon for at least 15 years. I trust Heide to cut & color my hair. She has given me many different styles and colors. She is very good at listening to what I'm wanting. Prices are very reasonable, too.
I brought my partner here on the way through town to have his haircut cleaned up for a special event. We were fit in right away despite being walk-ins. We missed the name of the man who helped us, but he did an excellent job. My partner looked sharp afterwards! He also gave him a close shave, which we didn’t come in for, but had him looking extra nice. My partner thinks it is one of the better haircuts and shaves he has gotten. The pricing was fair and we were happy with the service. My partner enjoyed chatting with his stylist, too, who was kind and friendly.

I love walking in & the girls have my tanning bed ready to go before I even reach the counter. I’ve only had to wait a couple of times, which was maybe a few minutes. I’ve also been upgraded so I didn’t have to wait at all. It's worth the drive for their great service.

I’ve gone here for over 20 years. I have my nails done here, get pedicures, and get my hair cut and foiled. It’s best to call and set up and appointment, but give them a try. These ladies are amazing.

My teenage son had his hair twisted and cut for the start of the school year. The experience was stress free and easy from booking to final result. My family and I are from south Florida and it has been difficult finding reliable hairstylist in the area. My son actually found Studio 29 on a Google search. I wasn’t the biggest fan at first, before booking, but the service and final product was 10 out of 10. I recommend booking with the service providers here any day. I really appreciate the care instructions for his hair style after the service. I’m mad I didn’t find them earlier; we’ve been in Topeka for a year and will be moving soon. Thanks Studio 29! Unique Skincare and Massage is absolutely unique! I liked the cozy setting and Amber made me feel at home. She described the tools she used and let me know what it would feel like beforehand. This is a nice detail, especially if you are new to a place. The entrance is on the left side of the house as you walk up. Go around the corner and past the wire fence and it'll be there. She is also quick to reply if you can't find it right away. I paid for a wax and facial - added an extra 30-minutes massage for hands, arms, and scalp. Top notch find while on vacation!

I went along with my son for his first tattoo. Bryan did an amazing job and was very kind and attentive to him (and me) throughout the whole process. Heather was very helpful and kind to me as well. She answered all the questions I had about an older tattoo I have that is faded. I will definitely be going back to this place when I'm ready to have my cover-up done.

We've used Lower a couple of times at our daughter's house, once for heater and lately on her AC. We've put Lower on our do- call list
for heating and AC . We've used another company lately and weren't entirely satisfied.
Adam did a great job on AC and explained things to my wife. I'm not sure who worked on the heater but they also did a mighty fine job.
The charges are a reasonable hourly rate plus materials. I don't appreciate bs of some other companies.

D&J plumbing came in to replace all of the water lines and water heater in one of our houses.The job was done quickly and cleanly.About a week afterwards, I noticed some water dripping from one of the fittings on the water heater; when I called them back, they were quick to come back out and install an additional piece to help regulate water pressure to the house. Their second trip was done at no cost to us.It's hard to find people to care about doing business in an honorable way, I would unreservedly refer folks there way for any I would unreservedly refer folks there way for any plumbing needs plumbing needs.
Had a leaking roof vent, they came out the day I called, gave a quote I was more than happy with. Scheduled the work, arrived when they said they would. I'm satisfied with the quality of the work, and even when there was an unexpected complication (our house was built in the 40's, the pipes are old), They came back out to our rescue. I would call them again and won't hesitate to suggest them.
Nick came out promptly, identified and fixed the problem swiftly (a leaking water filter), and his charges were very reasonable.

We had an issue with our new Generac home stand-by generator. It had previously been diagnosed by Generac as likely a bad battery charger and/or voltage regulator. When Tegan from Shockwave arrived, he was skeptical. When he checked it out, he found a wire missing that was supposed to run the battery charging system. He added the wire, ran the generator through its paces, and had it up and running correctly in just under an hour. We were very pleased with his knowledge and how quickly he had the issue resolved. I should also mention he was working in the rain and still maintained his pleasant personality. I would definitely call Shockwave again!

We recently completed or third project with Winston Brown. After they did our office remodel, we had them remodel the main level of our house. This third project was unexpected due to bad window installation by another company we used before we were connected with Winston Brown. They made extra trips to our house to get insulation installed because it was the coldest part of the winter. It was an unexpected project so we were on a tight budget. While we had smaller allowances, you cannot tell by looking at the completed project.
They keep the work area clean and organized and cleaned up everyday before leaving.
We will not hesitate to call Winston Brown for any future needs and we will be confident that when we refer them to someone, the job will be done right.

We got new sod installed in May and had weeds growing up through the sod in July. I hired TruGreen to treat the weeds, and now it's October, and after 3 treatments, the lawn is weed free and looks amazing!
They’ve been mowing our lawn for the last few months now and they do a great job. The go above and beyond to ensure there aren’t any tire tracks on the driveway or sidewalks and they always blow everything off so it’s all nice and clean. We also use their irrigation service (have been for about 5 years) and they are extremely helpful in moving things around as we’ve added garden boxes, patios, etc. Great company!
They were very customer service friendly, something I think is hard to find. The trees i had trimmed were above structures so they were vere careful. After they finished they went beyond the average clean up. They raked the area and hauled away even the smallest of twigs and leaves. We were very pleased with the friendly work, and would strongly recommend them.

I had a tree fall down durring a storm a few days ago, and the tree is currently on my house and on my awning/roof. I've called darn near all the tree service people in topeka, and I'm guessing everyone is slammed bc no one has returned my calls, except for this business. When he realized that I was to far away to come out to my house (I live in holton) he sat on the phone with me and tried to help me figure out a solution on who to call and what I could do. Even offered to come out if I absolutely couldn't find anyone to help me (even though he's also swamped, and has jobs locally he can do.) Very nice man, very helpful, and for that I would definitely recommend his business.
Brown’s Tree Service did an outstanding job clearing undergrowth, taking down trees and cleaning up the property once they were done. Omar headed up the crew, everyone was very professional and worked very efficiently! Definitely will hire them again!

The staff are all great, even with young kids. One of my 6 year old is terrified of dentists because of painful shots and then getting a tooth drilled into before numbing had set in. Everyone here took their time, constantly reassuring the kids, and they double-checked every step to make sure their was no pain and that anxiety was at a minimum. They were so good that we switched all our kids to them and paid cash before open enrollment allowed me to change insurance.
They're one of only two dental groups I would use in Topeka, but Ad Astra somehow fits us in consistently.

I want to share the experience I had with the decompression therapy. I had some neck pain along with numbness and tingling in my left arm. Dr Beckley thought I should try the decompression table to help the problem. I was skeptical at first. In fact the first few times I felt it was not helping and I almost discontinued the treatment. I hung in there and after about 10 treatments (not sure how many) the tingling and numbness was completely gone. It’s been almost 2 months now and I am still doing great. Thought I was headed to a neurosurgeon, but I am rejoicing the symptoms are gone with no surgery! Thank you Dr Beckley!!

The Center for Manual Medicine is the best place for any body problem you might have. Doug Frye, M.D. is very knowledgeable. He is excellent & kind. All the physical therapist are great. Dan, the chiropractor is extremely gentle for elderly people. I have been treated by everyone there. I am 82 & have osteoporosis & arthritis. These experts have helped me many times over the years. Burlingame not only took our pup last minute (and I mean LAST minute!) They cared well for her, let me visit in the evening, and even provided a free nail trim, knowing that we were from out of town. I was overwhelmed to tears by their generosity. I would recommend them in a heart beat.
This place is great, we took our dog in to find out about some severe itching and a possible UTI, the doctor helped us out with some stuff we could do at home for the itching that worked wonders and got our pup on some medication that's completely stopped her incontinence issue and we couldn't be happier. They're always pleasant to deal with and can't recommend them enough

Dr Schormann and staff at Gage Animal Hospital are wonderful! My cat had a sudden injury caused by human error after 4PM. After calling multiple vet offices in the surrounding area and being turned away Gage Animal Hospital saw him and treated him immediately. Dr. Schormann did not judge me(as I was judging myself). They provided care that included a minor procedure on the spot(less than 2 hrs before closing time). We found our new veterinarian and I will send my friends and family there too.
Amanda does an amazing job with my doggies! I searched for the right place for about a year a couple years ago, with some pretty bad experiences, my dogs both love her and they always look great, we are here to stay!
Love the customer service here every time I pop in.. sadly they do not offer vet services here at this time. I can actually put my chihuahua down without fear of clutter like the other place in town.
