We stayed in Topeka for a weekend as we were going to Kansas to watch Argentina vs Switzerland for the FIFA World Cup. We needed a haircut and found this historic hair salon, a real hidden gem. We got a very well done haircut. Excellent service since 1964!

I am extremely impressed with the old school, home town, friendly people who are working here! They are not modern by no means but they are very good with what they do, HAIRCUTS, SHAVE, TREAT PEOPLE WITH RESPECT! Noble Shell will see men and Jan Hudson will see both men and women for haircuts and shave.

I've had a military haircut since I was 17...and that was thirty years ago. I love this place, because I don't need to worry about making an appointment, or getting someone who can't handle doing a "high and tight," etc.If you're wanting a hairstyle out of some stupid glossy magazine you saw in the doctor's waiting room, this may or may not be your place. For someone like me, who just wants something simple without a lot of bull****, it's perfect.Service: Haircut
