I am kind of late on this review, but my experience about a month ago with Natalie in NOTO was great. I love the interior design of this salon. The only thing I would change is the full length mirrors in front of each salon chair while you’re getting styled. It’s just uncomfortable for me. Other than that, very positive experience. I also loved the products that they are using.
After getting a good haircut, but not the one I wanted, I called Onyx because, quite frankly, I’d shed too many tears over my hair. They squeezed me in and I am so happy with how it came out.
But first: let’s talk about the first question they asked me. “Curly or straight?”
Ya’ll, that was the first time I’d felt okay in days.
They brought me in to a Friday morning haircut with Mina who not only got me where I wanted to go hair wise, but she gave me a hug when I started to tear up when she said my hair was pretty and that she was HAVING FUN CUTTING IT. My hair is beautiful but a long time source of anxiety and sometimes ridicule while I was learning it.
I love that my hair is short but still curly and frenetic. It’s the right personality again. And I think it was a four pound weightloss. 😂

Onyx is the best in Topeka! All the girls in there I would recommend. I would literally look no further. Just go here. I’ve worked with about two or three girls there recently! One was Reagan and the other was shania!! I had a big and awful hair mistake..like bad from another place here in town and Shania fixed me right before my big event and they managed to fit me in their busy schedules! And Reagan curled my hair with Hollywood waves and made me feel so gorgeous for a photoshoot I had!! These girls know what they’re doing. The environment is so cool and staff is so friendly and professional. I will for sure be recommending them to everyone and going back for my hair needs! 10/10 😍💗🤗✂️
