I bought an old house and discovered a bunch of plumbing issues. The first plumber I called fixed some things but not everything, he was also rude and decided he'd call me by a different name than my own. The old plumber wasn't able to diagnose all the problems either. After this bad experience with the old plumber, my in laws recommended Palmer Plumbing.

Every tech I have worked with has been great. They are friendly and explain things simply. They were also able to diagnose the problems we had right away.

As a new homeowner, it's important to me that I understand the source of the problem so that I can fix/maintain things. This team was knowledgeable and easy to work with. They arrived when expected, followed up, and offered to do extra fixes that they saw too. Great company, highly recommend.“

Of the work they have done for us, we have been very impressed and the cost has been on par with other respected competitors. Their communication is also on point.

Additionally, when they have been out for work or estimates for us, they have also caught legitimate issues that have altered how we want to do things (1. we asked for an estimate for an upstairs laundry and they noted our water supply and sewer drain diameters actually wouldn't allow for it from a code perspective; no other plumber we asked to come out even checked, 2. we had our sump pumps replaced by them and they noted the drainage into the pit was abnormal, scoped our line, and noted a possible crack in our sewer where it met the foundation (this was also verified by other plumbers).

All in all, 5+ stars for Lakeside. Would use them over all of the big names in Chicagoland area.“

“Two and a half years ago, I had hydrostatic pressure in my basement (water was leaking from under the house into my basement). Drinka Plumbing was recommended to me and Bill Fletcher quickly found out my issue. I have two sump pits, and one was not getting rid of enough water though it was operable. Bill recommended a sump pump with a battery back up and my problems went away. Today, the sump pump was continually going off with no water in the sump pit. The float that triggers the sump pump was stuck and kept the sump pump running continuously. Bill put in a new float switch and it seems to be working like it is brand new!“
