Phase 2So we were finally able to begin phase 2 and change the front yard. All of the old landscaping (mostly overgrown and dead bushes) were removed. We then had our house painted. Pete developed the plan for a new stoop, sidewalk, driveway and landscaping. It changed the look completely. Pete and the entire crew did another fabulous job! They always do quality work. We hope to add lighting.In the winter of 2020 we lost some old arborvitaes in the backyard .Pete put in a great fence, that has become a wonderful addition to the backyard. The very last photo is the original landscaping. It really needed to be updated. Thank you Pete and your crew, we are going to enjoy this for many years. My color sent me to the salon. I just like to get a haircut and I just get a basic trim. Nina was amazing. She listened. She trimmed my hair and she blew it out and her price was very reasonable. I will be back to use her as my hairdresser now for haircuts in the future.

I really liked this place. I am a guy who usually goes to a barber, so this was my first time going to this salon and also my first time getting a perm. The atmosphere was very quiet and I liked the look of the interior. The man doing my hair was the same one I spoke over the phone with, and knew what I was here for. He listened to what I had to say and I asked for whatever would look the best. He did an excellent job and I was very happy with the service. I will definitely come back again when I need my next perm! The haircut was also does incredibly well. He cut my whole hair and beard with scissors almost entirely which I think gave a nicer result than clipper cutting. He paid a lot of attention to the cut but he was really efficient. Probably one of the best haircuts I’ve gotten in a while too. I felt like he knew what would LOOK best instead of just going with whatever I said I usually got. Highly recommend. I always get excellent haircuts there. This time I had a new barber who seemed less certain about what she was doing. And the haircut took her longer than usual — the other barber finished one patron's haircut and was halfway through another in the time it took my barber to cut my hair. The haircut itself was fine. It was a little uncomfortable watching her struggle through the process. That said, I'll be back.

Have always had a good experience here, it is a standard mani pedi service unless you upgrade, and the prices are on par with other similar places. It is clean and tidy, and the techs are pleasant and don't try to make too much small talk while you are having your service. This place is not as "fancy" as other newer places in the area (rock star, Venezia spa) but my polish has lasted longer from here compared with the bigger nail places.

I’ve been going to Pixie Nail Spa for years now. First, the standout here is that there isn’t an overwhelming nail spa / chemical odor inside and it’s a very clean spa. Every time is a pleasant experience. I typically opt for the spa pedicure + additional 15 minute massage. I love how they set a timer for the additional massage so you know you’re getting the full time. The staff is A+, friendly, helpful and the nail techs do such a great job. While I liked the old crew, I absolutely love the new manager/owner and what they have done to the place - definite glow up! All new nail polishes, an interior facelift, and friendly personal. Felt pampered. And appreciated how organized everything felt in the new and improved Josie 2.0. Literally just left and already looking forward to my next appt! I had my lashes done with Linda and she was absolutely fantastic. I was nervous because I’ve never had my lashes done before and she was so calm and engaged with me to give me what I was looking for. I wanted natural looking with a little bold but not to look like fake. She extended every other lash just to darken because I have blonde lashes and the outcome was exceptional. Current Electrical Contractors did an excellent job for us, below budget, on time, with smart, competent, conscientiously neat, and very personable staff, who offered advice, answered all of our questions, and left us with a house that is electrically sound for the 21st century. They replaced our 100-amp 75-year old panel with a 200 amp panel, which will accommodate future installation of an EV charger and a fully electric stove when desired. They logically re-organized and re-balanced our circuitry, with appropriate re-wiring as needed. They installed GFCI outlets wherever recommended by the electrical code. Our garage is now PHEV capable. Our kitchen now has dedicated circuits, and all outlets are GFCI. We had a mysterious kitchen exhaust fan with a mind of its own that had spontaneously only run twice in 32 years. We should have worried more about it, but we didn't. We thought it would need replacement, and that we better insure the soundness of its electrical wiring. Tom Rafferty, who ran our project, thought it might be revived if it got good electricity, and he persevered until he neutralized its bad wiring, and installed good wiring. And Tom was right. The fan motor turned out to be just fine, and now the fan runs like a jet engine. Very fun. Also fun are our closet lights, formerly activated by pull strings which broke years ago, which all activate by motion now. And the LED lighting in our formerly darkish-basement is now so bright that I think it will cure my SAD this winter. To summarize, we're very happy. We will always use Current Electrical Contractors in the future. We highly recommend them.

They were very responsive and came out same day we called to review the damage, and began the mitigation and restoration in two rooms affected by the water damage next day. They worked with our insurance company extremely well. Their level of service and their staff's were excellent. They took full control of the cleanup, the repairs, the painting, and replacement of carpet for the two rooms. They made an otherwise difficult situation very easy and smooth through to recovery. This company is amazing! So, we got so busy getting preparing for our daughter's birthday that we forgot we needed the carpet cleaned! Even with them having the delay of a broken hose, they still made it out to our house to clean the carpets on a Friday night. We called them Wednesday at noon & they offered us a next day appointment! But, we needed Friday. We had some stains that a previous carpet cleaning company couldn't get out & they got them out! I'm so impressed by this company that my husband & I will be using them for all our floor cleaning needs from now on!

We are so happy that we hired Gary at Hillside Landscape for our complete front yard renovation. It was way overgrown.The company owner is our local neighbor. They gave us design removed old bushes. I was asked which trees, bushes and flowers we prefer to see. The job was finished it in 3 days as promised.Now we can enjoy our front yard. Our neighbors like it a lot.

I have been seeing Dr. Bloom and his wonderful staff since I was in my late teens/early twenties. Nothing but great things to say about him and his team. Their professionalism, work and care is top tier. My daughter is young and the team along with Dr. Bloom have been nothing but accommodating to her needs in making her feel comfortable and confident for dental exams and cleanings.
I was the type that hated going to the dentist. These folks have changed that and I now get excited to go! They take extra care to make sure you're always comfortable, explain everything they're going to do before they do it, and disclose all costs before anything is done. Dr. Morton and his team are the best! We had our first dental procedure outside of our usual check ups yesterday. My son was super nervous and got pretty upset. His team put him at ease and were super efficient with his care. Dr. Morton showed such great care for him. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for a great pediatric team.
I called Dr. Graber’s office for a question completely unrelated to dentistry. The whole office was very kind and helpful to me- including Dr. Graber! Just from the simple interaction I had, I felt confidence in Dr. Graber and her office, so I passed along her office information to my mother who was looking for a new dentist. I think anyone would feel confident and comfortable with the people in this office, as they truly treated me with kindness and professionalism when it wasn’t necessarily of any benefit to them. For years my extended family has been going to Back To Health Chiropractic for varies health reasons. Though all my family members praised the skill of Dr. Jim and Dr. Linda, I had had a few bad experiences with other chiros so was reluctant to try again. I was a fool and should have listened to my wife earlier. The Laurie's are so skilled, patient and wonderful chiropractors and they have helped me beyond my imagination. First, their location is in a med/professional strip with plenty of parking and very easy to access. Once you enter their premise which is clean and relaxing, you are greeted by Renee, their assistant, who is friendly and very efficient in processing your updates and such. I have been primarily Dr. Jim's patient and I have never had to wait beyond my appointment time to see him. Dr. Jim has a presence that is so calming, caring and professional. He always checks his notes from my last visit and asks how I am doing since that visit. I joke I don't really need to tell him what issues I may have since as soon as he exams my back, Dr. Jim can identify those issues by his touch alone. I first came to him due to back issues from running. Dr. Jim fixed those issues and just as importantly has given me exercises and stretches to do so I could continue the activity I love. Then I fell and hurt my shoulder badly. I did not expect Dr. Jim to be able to help me but he did. He never ceases to amaze me with his deep knowledge of the body, his gentle humor, deep sense of caring and his skill at chiropractics. Dr. Jim constantly goes the extra mile to show me stretches and muscle strengthening exercises which he takes the time to demonstrate and then makes me do repetitions to make sure I have the technique down. He is the best chiropractor I have ever been to and he has renewed my body so I can continue to do the things I love. Additionally, Dr. Linda has helped be too and she is also qualified to do acupuncture. I really admire the fact that when neither doctor can really help me, they say so and then recommend other avenues of health care and approaches. As I said, I would not hesitate to recommend BTHC to anyone in need of such care and the combined knowledge of the two good doctors is a real bonus in helping you in your health care needs whether it is recovering from an injury or general maintenance.
I have been seeing Dr Hansen for 3 decades & make the trip from the south at least twice a year to get the proper chiropractic treatment I've never experienced anywhere else in 30+ years. He takes care of his patients & actually wants them to get better. The new laser technology he uses is a total game changer. I am grateful to this man for helping me with all the chronic aches & pains I suffer from throughout my life.

I really like Dr Borowicz and find her professional and friendly. However, in setting up my next appointment, I encountered a negative staff member who made me feel uncomfortable. The staff had previously been friendly so maybe she had a bad day (:
Excellent experience with my doctor. First time patient and it was easy and very welcoming. I am so pleased to have found this place.
Now with several visits at the Glenview office....my one observation is the over use of co-pay billing.
1. Consultations are billed as a co-pay....tough when you are there both to be seen and interview the doctor
2. To have the doctor review her work....actually removed a mole that was not discussed and had to come back for the correct one....another co-pay was needed for their error.
3. When stitches were removed...it was done by a medical assistant and the doctor never reviewed her work...I had an issue of a new lump in my face and for me to come see the doctor so she can review...I had to pay another co-pay.
4. It seems the doctor has to split work because they are busy and numerous times are needed and each time a $60 co-pay was asked of me....in 1 month I had 6 co-pays asked of me.
Emails were not replied to when I asked why am I having to pay for a check up on their work or correct an error in their work.
Though the doctor is very nice and professional...I feel a bit financially drained on the co-pays for follow up visits due to their error and doctor haven't looked at the work she had done.
I feel $360 paid to walk in the door to give them business is a bit extreme and I feel like a milked cow.
My present doctor is leaving and I will find a smaller office or find a reputable source in Mexico City for treatments as that is my 2nd place of residence.
Dr. Dy is Knowledgeable and extremely professional. I would recommend her to anyone who wants an accurate diagnosis. She always has time for questions.
Excellent bedside manner by all providers. The front desk staff and billing team are incredibly warm and competent. I’ve been a patient of Jessica Borowicz for 10+ years - injectables, acne, annual full body melisma screening, biopsy and facials. She is highly intelligent and decisive. I am so happy with my skin!I also love The Derm products. I use their Vitamin C, Retinol, lotion and wash daily.

I went to Idania for a Brazilian Lymphatic Massage with no expectations and I was blown away by the entire experience. Idania is genuinely kind and caring and she knows her stuff! After 60 minutes I left feeling relaxed, lighter and I looked thinner. I have an autoimmune disease so the massage was more for my sluggish lymph nodes than losing inches (but that was a great bonus!). I highly recommend trying Idania for the Brazilian Lymphatic Massage. You will walk about of the massage with a lightness you haven't felt in a long time. Can't wait for my next one!

3 years ago I experienced the worst sciatica pain imaginable. It lasted 5 nightmarish weeks. During the end of the agonizing pain I decided to see Dawn from a recommendation I received. She performed dry needling for me, and I was skeptical but then sold. I did a total of 3 sessions, and I fully know it’s what made me turn the corner. Dawn is so friendly, kind, a genuine healer. It has taken me way too long to write this review. I have so much gratitude for her, and her expertise. I would recommend her to anyone I know.

This review is long due. Three years ago, I felt an excruciating pain in my left leg. Visited my doctor. He couldn't find anything - recommended me to a neurologist. The neurologist told me to " keep an eye." Beginning this year, my neck, arms, and left foot started giving me issues: numbness in my left sole, jamming sensation in the neck, fingers would twitch sometimes when I exercised, and more. Visited an orthopedic doctor. This doctor took 18 X-rays and MRIs then told me that (1) I had sciatica and a cyst in my spine. He advised me to immediately schedule an appointment with the "best" spine surgeon he knew of in town to have the cyst removed asap. Being Asian and having a deep respect for Eastern medicine, I scoured the internet in search of an acupuncturist. I stumbled upon EWHC. I contacted Dr.Chen. He told me to bring all my MRIs. I scheduled an appointment, drove across two states with hubby, and went through four 30- minute acupuncture and TuiNa technique sessions at his clinic. After the first treatment, it felt as if my neck, back, leg, and the sole of my left foot were 95% healed. Dr.Chen studied the location of the cyst and said no surgery was needed. That made my day! By the end of the fourth treatment, 98% of my issues were gone! Convinced, hubby visited Dr.Chen for his ankle pain before we left town. Hubby's ankle is feeling much better too! Dr.Leon Chen at EWHC is a true expert. It was so worth driving two long days to receive top notch treatment and quality care at EWHC. The office experience was great as well. A lovely lady at the front desk was super polite, too. And that 2%? I'm already planning my follow up wellness visit with Dr. Chen. And oh, that TuiNa technique? That was SUPER! Highly recommend EWHC.
I had never tried acupuncture before. I went to CKF Acupuncture for several months seeking relief from pain, arthritis in the hip and lower back. The office setting made me feel peaceful and calm. Cynthia Funai is an excellent acupuncturist and took time to listen and choose the best approach to help me become more mobile and able to do more on a daily basis. I highly recommend her.
