“After hearing from TML concerning my negative review last Winter, TML came out to investigate our furnace issue. As it turns out, the old "telephone cable" used to communicate with my heat pump was not replaced 6 years ago when TML installed our new system. The old cable had degraded and was "leaking" signal across the other wires giving erroneous failures. TML did a quick fix by replacing the thermostat and swapped wires in the cable to give us heat until the permanent fix could schedule. TML team came back within a week and replaced the thermostat wiring at no charge. The roaring furnace is now much quieter and keeps the home at selected temperature. “I can’t say enough good things about this company and the people who work there. When we purchased our first home 23 years ago Northwest Heating and Air had installed the AC and heating system in the house and left their orange contact sticker on the unit. That little sticker and their professional care and maintenance has kept our Tran unit going for well past its normal service term.

Northwest H and A recently saved us thousand of dollars. In Dec. of 2025 another company (recommended by our property management company) came to inspect the furnace and said it was damaged and in need of total replacement at the toon of $12000. I contacted Northwest who came out the next day, performed a full inspection and found no problems. They fully contested the competitors claim and said it was possibly a predatory scam and that they unfortunately see this in their industry. If you need honest, old school Idaho people to work with and want to avoid scams try Northwest Heating and Air. I am a fan for life and promise openly to use them on our next install.
