I had several companies tell me my HVAC system had failed and was beyond repair. They gave me bids for a whole new system. Michael came out to give me a bid and offered to see if he could get the system running. He found a minor electrical problem in the circuit supplying power and fixed it, for FREE! I don't have to replace the system, saving me thousands, but when I do I know who I'll be using!
My wife and I lost A/C function at our home, which has a 20-year-old gas furnace + A/C unit. Mike replaced our capacitor at no charge, which got our system working, and taught me a lot about how HVAC systems work along the way. He also walked me through replacement options at fair prices, given the age of our system. We are very grateful to Mike and would highly recommend Capital City Heating and Cooling.
Capital City was the 5th company to give me a quote on relocating my AC unit to other side of house which included running new Freon lines through the attic and 220 wire under my house. They provided the best education during the quote and best price! So we chose them. And they’re locally, family owned which we loved. The guys showed up, protected our carpets inside, did all the attic and crawl space work and got it done in a shorter period than the quote. 100% I’d recommend them to anyone. Electrical and HVAC from single company (huge plus) and absolutely best service. They’re our new go-to as long as we live in treasure valley!
