Reese Marie Salon is amazing! I booked my first appointment with Sydney and she was the best! She made me feel very comfortable right away by asking questions about my hair before she began working on it, and cut it exactly how I asked. Sometimes it can be scary going to a new hairstylist, but I immediately trusted her and am excited to continue booking with her! Leah is absolutely amazing. Originally went to her for more blonde color which has always turned out amazing. I've gone to back to my natural roots which is a dark blonde, almost brunette and she made the concoction PERFECT. She can do whatever you ask for and is just a sweet person in itself.

Small family owned Nail Shops can be hidden gems that deliver services that use high quality products, offer an array of customer friendly services at a reasonable price such as Fancy Nails. Julie gives the most comforting pedicure and Randy is most efficient at delivering what you requested without skipping a step making your nails exude showcase perfection. Though small, the salon is very tidy and clean using the most sterile techniques that will have you returning as a fan of the down to earth friendly environment.
I tried Chic, but they had a large wedding party on one side using almost all their workers. there were 8 chairs open but no more workers. I was originally told 15 minutes as a walk in, but then told to one back in 45minutes. NO thanks. Went down the street to Nails For You and got right in. Awesome job! Warm lotion!!!! I had never had that. Simple and thorough service for a pedicure. I always get regular polish so I have to give it time to dry.

Justine is the best and really makes you feel comfortable when it's your first spray tan. She made the whole process smooth and easy. I've received a lot of compliments since no one could tell it was a spray tan. There were no streaks or more color in one section over another. She checks on you the next day to make sure you are happy with the color. I also did the bikini wax and for the first time ever, it didn't hurt at all. No irritation and no issues. I used to do Wax in the City and they would just hurry through to get the next client in, but not Justine. She spends time making sure it's correct and happy. First time at this spa and already have my next appointment booked! Her prices are wonderful too!

They Impress! I had an issue related to Road construction outside my house. Windsor Heights public works contracted AM PM Plumbing to come out and look at the issue. Wow! Outstanding. Used them for 2 services. First one was a minor installation of a new shower valve. Went smooth and glad I didn't try to tackle this myself. It looked a lot harder than I would imagine.
Second service was to re-pipe a majority of our house from 1/2 inch to 3/4 inch piping due to low water pressure (house built in the 1950s) Jeremy wrote up the quote for us and it was a third of the price of Golden Rule Plumbing. David our technician was super informative and made sure the procedure was done right getting rid of many old plumbing mistakes from the previous installer and cleaning out many old unnecessary piping. We had a water softener installed along with the service and they even made sure our outside spigot was piped to not run soft water through a very cramped crawl space.
Our water pressure has more than doubled and we can run multiple fixtures without a drop of pressure.
We hired Central Iowa Solutions to remodel our Bathroom over a year ago, and most recently for some custom wood work design in the basement, and the experience was fantastic start to finish. The quote was detailed and transparent, the timeline was accurate, and the finished space looks like something out of a magazine. Dave is hands-on and genuinely cares about getting the details right. Highly recommend CIS to anyone in the Des Moines area looking for quality interior and exterior remodeling.

From the bidding process with Larry to the onsite craftsmanship led by David and the back of the house communication with Kristi these are pros. They were timely, excellent craftsman, pleasant to have in our home and fairly priced. We couldn't recommend Remodelworks more highly!
Green Guard Construction, Inc is a great Roofing contractor! They installed my roof and gutters, they did a fantastic job. I would recommend them to anyone who wants quality work.
Great for handyman jobs but it seems to take forever for a small room remodel. I started this process in December and it’s now February and I’m still waiting on cabinet doors and drapery. The reason why is because they want to be precise with measurements and layouts and making sure everything is correct and perfect. It’s the end of March and the remodel is finished. Love my dining room! Love the custom cabinets! ??

I moved to Iowa and needed to find a new dentist. I really didn't think I'd find a place that met the same caliber of service I received in Chicago (which is supposed to be better because it's bigger right?!?! WRONG!). I'm so glad Country Club dental proved me wrong!! The front staff here is superb. They are friendly and available to answer questions. It has always been easy to schedule and reschedule my appointments. I also have not had any problems with them accepting my insurance. They even offer a membership plan so that you don't need insurance to have dental services here if you become a member! I was seen by Dr. Gray and his assistant Sammie. Both are absolutely fabulous. They are very friendly, funny, and personable. Two weeks ago I had a dental cleaning. Sammie was very gentle taking topical pictures of my teeth. I think there was another device used to detect the density of my teeth too. I was impressed (and never got this type of service in Chicago!). They really check for everything here! Dr. Gray thoroughly reviewed my teeth, X-rays, gum recession and density and photos of my teeth. I was really impressed with the examination and the technology used here. They really care about dental health. At the end of my appointment I was even given an option of a manual toothbrush or a sonicare type replacement head for my electric toothbrush. WHAT?!!? My mind was blown that I had these options! During my appointment I had mentioned that my Chicago dentist had recommended to fill cavities of two of my wisdom teeth and that I wanted to move forward with that procedure. I also mentioned that I was prescribed some special toothpaste to prevent further decay and wanted that refilled. Dr. Gray immediately called in the prescription to my pharmacy to refill the toothpaste and we scheduled another appointment for a cavity filling. Done and done! Today....two weeks later...I just got my two cavities filled and felt compelled to write this Yelp review for Dr Gray and his team at Country Club Dental (and these days I'm only writing reviews for those places that are truly special to me). I'm not the type of person that is usually scared of the dentist, but I was anxious today because of my small mouth and possible difficulty maneuvering within the small space. But they had all the tools necessary to make this experience SO EASY. My small mouth was not an issue at all and I did not feel any pain! I had to open my eyes every so often just to check if my mouth was still being worked on because I was so comfortable and didn't feel anything during the procedure! They also had a device (that amazed me because I never had it in Chicago) that allowed me to comfortably rest my mouth, while still keeping it open, and sucked up the particles/water in my mouth during the procedure. I'll be annoyed if Dr. Gray gets booked up because of this review but life isn't all about me so I'll be okay to share him and his team. ;-) I initially heard about Country Club dental from a friend who raved about Dr. Fung. I'm sure all the dentists here are wonderful but I'm sticking with Dr. Gray. =)

Absolutely wonderful place. I went from not able to stand longer than 10 minutes, not making it through the grocery store, the airport for a connecting flight, playing with grandkids and so on. It was awful. Now, I only come in for maintenance visits and feel wonderful! Very important to maintain, I never want to feel like I cannot stand or walk the walk!! Everyone here is fantastic!

This guy is awesome. Listens doesn’t try to push extra stuff unless it’s needed and there’s an end to it not like you’ll need to come back every week for the rest of your life. He’ll also do his best to squeeze you in if you need a last minute adjustment. Absolutely the best care.

They helped me develop a plan of using the red light therapy and trezipatide. The process was super easy and affordable. Theyre always available to help and accommodate whatever I needed.

I love Michon at skin Iowa,she is the best dermatologist I’ve ever had. And I’ve been having plastic surgery since 1978. I love how she puts in Botox and fillers. She is better than the plastic surgeons in Palm Springs and Beverly Hills, which two cities that are famous for their work. I still need a neck lift, but I am almost three quarters of a century old!
I absolutely love Dr. Ceilley! He’s done two Mohs surgeries on me and I always ask him to do the numbing because it NEVER hurts when he does it. Thank you Dr. C, you are the best!

Dr. Benham truly understands my quirky cats and has offered many way to help each of them with their different issues. From one being too heavy (she isn't fat, she is fluffy) to another cat reaching the end of his journey here on earth, the staff has taken great care of not only our pets, but taken care of us as a family.

I found this veterinary clinic when I moved here from Utah, and from the very beginning, the care and compassion have been incredible. The staff and veterinarians truly love what they do, and it shows in every interaction. They take the time to listen, thoroughly investigate, and do everything they can to find the best possible options for my dogs.
Sadly, one of my babies passed away after we moved here. Losing her was heartbreaking, but the kindness this clinic showed during such a painful time meant more to me than words can express. When they learned she had passed at the emergency vet over the weekend, I received a heartfelt letter from the veterinarian and a card from the staff. That simple act of compassion brought comfort during one of my hardest moments.
They don’t just treat pets; they care for them like family. I truly trust them with my dogs and know they always have my pets’ best interests at heart.
How much I appreciate the care, kindness and support from the entire veterinarian staff is beyond words. The love they show this rescue guy is immeasurable.

Renee does a fantastic job with the deep tissue massage. The ambience is fantastic. Further she is able to pinpoint the stressed out areas and help relax those muscles extremely well. Truly a great massager with lot of experience.
My massage therapist retired and recommended McKenzie. I had a 30-minute massage to see if she was a match for my needs. She is! I came back the next day for an hour massage. Really like her and her massage method. I felt great after both massages. I'm looking forward to seeing her again in May.

Summer knows the body and knows how to go deep into sore, tight muscles. I love that she incorporates essential oils into the massage. The massage room is welcoming and comfortable and her music is perfect.

I can't say enough about how great the experience was as I worked on getting quad strength back to support my knee. Everyone on the staff was carrying and wonderful and B built a program that addressed my needs. I felt seen and heard and enjoyed myself and loved getting stronger. Would 1000% reccomend to anyone!
I felt so discouraged after giving birth that pain and not feeling like myself were just the new normal…everything at breathe helped change that. Dr. Gage was wonderful not only helping treat my physical issues but listening to me and talking to me about the day to day experience and never giving up on me despite set backs. She was very evidence based but also open to trying other modalities, asking for help from her colleagues, and learning alongside me. I cannot say enough good things, and anytime I hear a fellow mom struggling I tell them about Breathe!
