Reese Marie Salon is amazing! I booked my first appointment with Sydney and she was the best! She made me feel very comfortable right away by asking questions about my hair before she began working on it, and cut it exactly how I asked. Sometimes it can be scary going to a new hairstylist, but I immediately trusted her and am excited to continue booking with her! The salon overall was very clean and the rest of the staff was very friendly. I definitely recommend getting your hair done at Reese Marie Salon (and booking your appointment with Sydney)!

Leah is absolutely amazing. Originally went to her for more blonde color which has always turned out amazing. I've gone to back to my natural roots which is a dark blonde, almost brunette and she made the concoction PERFECT. She can do whatever you ask for and is just a sweet person in itself.

Not only did he give me the best haircut/beard trim I’ve had, but he was very personable and easy to talk with. Also, he is very reasonably priced. I expect my cost to be more than it was for the quality he did.He also has some great home decor you can buy and take home to your spouse. Highly recommend getting your haircut with Tyler. And ladies, I’ve heard he is a great stylist too and he said his favorite thing to do is fix bad haircuts that other stylists bombed. I will be getting every haircut with Tyler going forward.

If you are looking for an AMAZING hair color specialist and stylist for 2026 LOOK NO FURTHER! Shasta can FIX your hair color AND keep it healthy (and those two things do not always go together!)! I have now sat in Shasta’s chair twice — she is pleasant, knowledgeable, and knows how to color hair (especially if you’re in your 40’s and still want beautiful blond hair like me!). She artfully eliminates any brassy tones and will hand paint the blonde where you need it. Small family owned Nail Shops can be hidden gems that deliver services that use high quality products, offer an array of customer friendly services at a reasonable price such as Fancy Nails. Julie gives the most comforting pedicure and Randy is most efficient at delivering what you requested without skipping a step making your nails exude showcase perfection. Though small, the salon is very tidy and clean using the most sterile techniques that will have you returning as a fan of the down to earth friendly environment.
I tried Chic, but they had a large wedding party on one side using almost all their workers. there were 8 chairs open but no more workers. I was originally told 15 minutes as a walk in, but then told to one back in 45minutes. NO thanks. Went down the street to Nails For You and got right in. Awesome job! Warm lotion!!!! I had never had that. Simple and thorough service for a pedicure. I always get regular polish so I have to give it time to dry.

Justine is the best and really makes you feel comfortable when it's your first spray tan. She made the whole process smooth and easy. I've received a lot of compliments since no one could tell it was a spray tan. There were no streaks or more color in one section over another. She checks on you the next day to make sure you are happy with the color. I also did the bikini wax and for the first time ever, it didn't hurt at all. No irritation and no issues. I used to do Wax in the City and they would just hurry through to get the next client in, but not Justine. She spends time making sure it's correct and happy. First time at this spa and already have my next appointment booked! Her prices are wonderful too!

Great for handyman jobs but it seems to take forever for a small room remodel. I started this process in December and it’s now February and I’m still waiting on cabinet doors and drapery. The reason why is because they want to be precise with measurements and layouts and making sure everything is correct and perfect. It’s the end of March and the remodel is finished. Love my dining room! Love the custom cabinets! ??

Our family was looking for a new dentist that would be a good fit for everyone, but especially our kids now that they are getting older. Dr. Minnick and the team at Lakeview Family Dental were amazing. They were helpful and accommodating from the first phone call to the appointments. Everyone was welcoming and did a great job explaining things to my kids step by step so they felt comfortable. It was also the best cleaning I have had in years! They are thorough, knowledgeable, and take their time. Dr. Minnick took time to explain options and we never felt pressured into a certain plan of care. Most of all, we all felt comfortable and confident leaving the office… and had nice clean smiles! I am happy to have found them through all the wonderful reviews online and hope that if you are looking for a new dentist for yourself or your family that you will give the team at Lakeview Family Dental and Dr. Minnick a try!

This was my first exam at this clinic, but my husband has been a client for several years. The dental hygienists are very thorough and gentle and offer helpful information regarding keeping your teeth and gums healthy. Dr Cowherd is very knowledgeable and kind. I appreciate his friendly, gentle, knowledgeable approach. His clinic is very clean and comfortable and it just feels very home-y. The receptionists are also very friendly and competent. My husband has dementia, but is treated with dignity and kindness. I am very happy to be a new client here, and recommend this dental clinic highly.
I moved to Iowa and needed to find a new dentist. I really didn't think I'd find a place that met the same caliber of service I received in Chicago (which is supposed to be better because it's bigger right?!?! WRONG!). I'm so glad Country Club dental proved me wrong!! The front staff here is superb. They are friendly and available to answer questions. It has always been easy to schedule and reschedule my appointments. I also have not had any problems with them accepting my insurance. They even offer a membership plan so that you don't need insurance to have dental services here if you become a member! I was seen by Dr. Gray and his assistant Sammie. Both are absolutely fabulous. They are very friendly, funny, and personable. Two weeks ago I had a dental cleaning. Sammie was very gentle taking topical pictures of my teeth. I think there was another device used to detect the density of my teeth too. I was impressed (and never got this type of service in Chicago!). They really check for everything here! Dr. Gray thoroughly reviewed my teeth, X-rays, gum recession and density and photos of my teeth. I was really impressed with the examination and the technology used here. They really care about dental health. At the end of my appointment I was even given an option of a manual toothbrush or a sonicare type replacement head for my electric toothbrush. WHAT?!!? My mind was blown that I had these options! During my appointment I had mentioned that my Chicago dentist had recommended to fill cavities of two of my wisdom teeth and that I wanted to move forward with that procedure. I also mentioned that I was prescribed some special toothpaste to prevent further decay and wanted that refilled. Dr. Gray immediately called in the prescription to my pharmacy to refill the toothpaste and we scheduled another appointment for a cavity filling. Done and done! Today....two weeks later...I just got my two cavities filled and felt compelled to write this Yelp review for Dr Gray and his team at Country Club Dental (and these days I'm only writing reviews for those places that are truly special to me). I'm not the type of person that is usually scared of the dentist, but I was anxious today because of my small mouth and possible difficulty maneuvering within the small space. But they had all the tools necessary to make this experience SO EASY. My small mouth was not an issue at all and I did not feel any pain! I had to open my eyes every so often just to check if my mouth was still being worked on because I was so comfortable and didn't feel anything during the procedure! They also had a device (that amazed me because I never had it in Chicago) that allowed me to comfortably rest my mouth, while still keeping it open, and sucked up the particles/water in my mouth during the procedure. I'll be annoyed if Dr. Gray gets booked up because of this review but life isn't all about me so I'll be okay to share him and his team. ;-) I initially heard about Country Club dental from a friend who raved about Dr. Fung. I'm sure all the dentists here are wonderful but I'm sticking with Dr. Gray. =)

My 3 year old daughter has recently started receiving speech and OT services at New Hope Healing in West Des Moines. We were able to get her in and start services immediately, twice a week without no wait list. The staff is super friendly and knows what they are doing. My daughter feels comfortable with her speech and OT therapists which was big for myself and her dad. They have tons of toys and a complete gym play area with tons of sensory items for the kids to work with. I’m so glad I found this place after being waitlist at several other places for 6+ months. Highly recommend give this place a call!

I love Michon at skin Iowa,she is the best dermatologist I’ve ever had. And I’ve been having plastic surgery since 1978. I love how she puts in Botox and fillers. She is better than the plastic surgeons in Palm Springs and Beverly Hills, which two cities that are famous for their work. I still need a neck lift, but I am almost three quarters of a century old!

Dr. Benham truly understands my quirky cats and has offered many way to help each of them with their different issues. From one being too heavy (she isn't fat, she is fluffy) to another cat reaching the end of his journey here on earth, the staff has taken great care of not only our pets, but taken care of us as a family.

I found this veterinary clinic when I moved here from Utah, and from the very beginning, the care and compassion have been incredible. The staff and veterinarians truly love what they do, and it shows in every interaction. They take the time to listen, thoroughly investigate, and do everything they can to find the best possible options for my dogs.
Sadly, one of my babies passed away after we moved here. Losing her was heartbreaking, but the kindness this clinic showed during such a painful time meant more to me than words can express. When they learned she had passed at the emergency vet over the weekend, I received a heartfelt letter from the veterinarian and a card from the staff. That simple act of compassion brought comfort during one of my hardest moments.
They don’t just treat pets; they care for them like family. I truly trust them with my dogs and know they always have my pets’ best interests at heart.

Renee does a fantastic job with the deep tissue massage. The ambience is fantastic. Further she is able to pinpoint the stressed out areas and help relax those muscles extremely well. Truly a great massager with lot of experience.
McKenzie is amazing. She explained everything, took the time to ask questions about if there was anything in particular. I was never able to have a full body massage due to a medical condition and this was my first one. I wanted to cry because it felt so amazing and I just could not believe that I was able to have her touching my legs. I would 10/10 recommend her!!

After only a few sessions she was able to work some large knots out of my back that no one else had been able to accomplish. I got a massage done here about two years ago and still remembered how good it was. I’ve been working a lot of hours lately and so when I decided to book a massage I had to come back. I got a deep tissue and specifically asked for Anna, she is amazing. I personally don’t think it was too rough, but that differs from person to person. I felt she was very considerate and gentle in the areas that you could tell were a little more sensitive. Also, yes they get on the table with you however they do not get ON TOP of you! Overall I will be coming back next time I’d like a massage:)
