Pause West Des Moines offers a relaxing and clean space with friendly staff. The facility is easy to book, and the membership is convenient. Workers are kind, informative but not pushy, and make guests feel very welcome and important. The spa provides a short tour of all the different equipment and services. Services include the Flotation Tank for a 60 minute session, which is amazing and very impressive. Helpful tips are given about using the tank. Rooms with both a Sauna and a plunge pool are available, along with a full body light therapy bed and a cryogenic chamber. Contrast therapy is excellent, including a shower/pamper component. The spa is clean, comfortable, welcoming, and rejuvenating. The entire team runs an impressive, elevated spa with a great variety of services.
Tried a float session at Pause in West Des Moines this morning and immediately knew I’d be back. If you’re like me and don’t love massages or a lot of interaction when relaxing, this is a completely different kind of luxury. It’s quiet, private, and actually helps you slow your mind down. Everything was thoughtfully set up, and the staff were helpful without being over the top. Highly recommend if you just need a break from a nonstop life…
Pause was such a unique, fun experience. Got to try a bunch of different services, and they were all top tier. Floating was definitely my favorite. It was extremely clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back!
Extremely knowledgeable staff. So glad I took the tour to see everything Pause has to offer. The nurses are amazing & my vitamin shot injections went wonderful. Highly recommend. Can’t wait to go back.
