Want to check in with an A++ review for Lauren A. New to DSM and I travel for work so have to find new stylists wherever I go. I called the salon and left a message I needed a short haircut and had read some great reviews. They called me back so quickly and were able to book me in with Lauren- she is someone who listens, asks questions, pulls up pictures and looks at your pics all to get the idea of what you want and what will look good. I can never say what I want but somehow she figured out what was and wasn't working. Lauren worked with my crazy cowlicks to give me a great cut/style with a plan for how to keep it getting better and better. Everyone at the salon is so nice, its a great vibe. I would recommend Trixie's and Lauren A to anyone in the area looking for a great short cut for women.

I’m not from here so I was nervous trying a new place but they were super welcoming and offered me something to drink. I felt bad I didn’t have an appointment but they found time for me. I was Leary about taking my 20mo old daughter with me to get my pedicure done but the staff was so friendly and patient with us and I really appreciated that. I just did a regular pedi and regular polish and it came out great. It only took an hour and that’s including time to try to settle my daughter periodically. They let her walk in the water and even pretended to do her toes. They even gave her a lollipop and that actually got her to calm down some. Really friendly people and I would go here again, maybe next time without my daughter so I can get more relaxed lol

I grew my hair out for 4 years hoping to get a medium length Bob. My hair is not thick and I don't like razor cuts that leave my hair split and in the long run damages my hair. T used a razor, thining shears and a electric Razor and cut my hair short with one side jagged and thin. She never listened to how I wanted my hair she said I'd have to curle my hair with a iron if I wanted a Bob. I've had my hair Cut in a Bob by studio 10 in Adel iowa that was perfect and professional!! Oh how I wish I would have gone there!! Hair type: I am a individual that requires skill when it comes to tackling my hair issues.. I received my 1st grey hair at the age of 17yrs old . I am now 35, so it's very unruly in places. I had let my hair (color) go for a long time - in hopes to go natural and I had to give up because the way I just hated the look. I also had a medical episode happen to me and I ended up losing quite a bit of my hair as well and now I have quite a bit of regrowth so there's quite a bit going on with my hair type and Jennifer is qualified to take it all on!!

Kelly did my makeup for my wedding and I could not recommend her enough. She was honestly one of my favorite vendors we worked with. She was always on time and professional and not only did she make me feel so beautiful the day of, but my mom's makeup was stunning as well as my bridesmaids. Both my mom and I are not huge fans of getting our make up done and with Kelly we seriously had no notes on the day of makeup, it was that good!!! I felt so comfortable in my makeup trial and day of giving feedback on any changes I wanted and Kelly was so good at asking clarifying questions to make sure we were on the same page. I found a cpl of tats on the Pinerest app that I really liked and Darby was able to get a stencil made. My tats turned out great. All around a great experience and I will b going back for more for more tats.
We had booked out two full days at the shop to complete one tattoo and get two more new ones with Paul. We were traveling from the east coast, and our flights were cancelled due to the hurricane hours before our flight. The front desk was so helpful and kind, and worked with us to find a solution that works for them and us. My husband and I cannot express how quickly, empathically, and professionally this was handled. We already rescheduled and booked new flights. Came here bout 8 weeks ago for two ear lobe piercings and two helix pierced. They healed fantastic, the piercer he was very professional, kept everything sterile and did amazing! Just came back today and got the girls pierced and another earlobe. He was very professional, asked if i felt safe there or if wanted someone here in room, the girls when he pierced was very painless. No where near the amount of pain i thought would be. He provided detail instructions on care. Checked my other helixs to make sure they healing proper and said if have any questions to please stop in! When i mention i was thirsty when he asked how was feeling, he provided a soda and explained why that sometimes happens. I cant wait for these to heal cause i will only come to him for now on for my future piercings i want ! 1000000/10 recommend coming here!

He promptly inspected all components of my furnace.
Informed me of a small leak that we need to keep an eye on. So I took pictures of that area to watch for any changes. He found that my humidifier pad was in need of replacement, he had the part with him. After preforming all checks to make sure we are good for winter he was very polite and answered all of my questions and thanked me for my business. He was very knowledgeable.

I have 220 service to a heating appliance in my garage and my 40 amp breaker tripped for the first time since the garage was built 3 years ago. I could see some melting had occurred inside the subpanel. I called Mickle on Tuesday and 2 techs arrived at my home the following day 10 minutes before the stated time. Shortly afterwards Shane called me at work to review the issues and what they would need to do to get it fixed including replacing the subpanel and running heavier gauge wire to the heating unit. They were extremely professional and made the necessary repairs within a few hours. I take a lot of pride in my garage as we use it for recreational space among other things. Their work was outstanding and I'm now getting the highest efficiency out of the appliance. Had an old key with their name on it from my mother's estate. We had no clue what it was for. I brought it by the shop and they did their best in trying to identify it and what it would be for. Unfortunately, historical records were incomplete from the business changing hands a couple of times over the last 25+ years. They checked their computer and paper files to no avail. They showed me what the lock would look like to keep my eyes open, but they couldn't help beyond that. Very friendly and helpful, just not successful.

Toby and Melvin did a fantastic job on our living room renovations. My husband and I spent a long time and talked to many companies before we found CPIA. After the difficulty in finding a company interested in doing our project, it was a relief when Toby and Melvin were excited to take it on! They painstakingly scraped/stripped white latex paint off our original 1930s solid oak wall library, stained and refinished it. (Other companies told us to demolish it and rebuild it with cheap materials, because it would be too much work to refinish it). Toby also worked with us to design and build a beautiful solid oak window bench that looks like it fits perfectly with the original bookcase. They communicated well with us throughout the entire process, paid attention to the details, and took their time and did high quality work. We are so happy with how it turned out! My husband and I hired Marcia to help us redesign our kitchen and laundry room in the fall of 2021. She was professional and courteous from the first minute we met her. She walked through our entire house with us to get a feel for who we are and our style, listened closely to learn about what we wanted, and was open to our ideas and suggestions. Marcia sat down on the spot and sketched out some ideas with us present, shared her vision with us, and listened to our feedback. Her plans reflected a balance of beauty, style, and practicality that fit us to a T. We rolled with the plans, and a year later, are finally finished with the remodel. We couldn't be more pleased with how our home looks and feels now! It is open, yet the spaces are clearly defined. We have PLENTY of storage. The pantry is spacious enough that I could move all the items we previously stored in the hall closet to the kitchen. We had shelves custom built for the pantry and it's perfect. We hosted Thanksgiving for 10 people and at least at one point had 5-6 people in the kitchen. It never felt crowded. It's easy to have multiple people in the space working together without being in each other's way! I can also open and unload the dishwasher easily, putting dishes away with just a few steps. I can bring in groceries and put them away efficiently. We can find what we need without searching or having to rearrange things or get down on the floor. I can see what we have easily and don't have stale food forgotten in the back of the pantry. Our laundry room is also incredibly functional. Marcia's plan for integrating an unnecessary hallway into the space worked out beautifully. We highly recommend Marcia for your project. One of her strengths not yet mentioned is that she keeps a realistic budget in mind. What we saved in unnecessary expenses made the already modest cost of her services well worth the investment.

When I began this process of trying to find a siding and window company that I could feel good about, it started with asking companies if they had their own permanent installers. This was extremely important to me because what I discovered is that some of the companies I contacted were basically nothing more than call centers, farming out their jobs to the cheapest bidder. Finding a company that had their own crews they worked with on a regular basis just provided me with confidence that I would be getting quality work. This where Midwest Seamless really shined. Mike uses the same people for his jobs and I can't find enough good words to say about the crew who worked on our house. They were just genuinely good people. I interacted with all of them over a period of roughly a week and they all treated me great and answered any questions I had, were polite, not to mention they were true professionals. I do most of my own home improvement work and you could tell they knew their craft well. The workmanship was stellar! Our house was built in 1948 and we had all of our existing metal siding removed, new siding installed, as well as replacing every one of the windows, and new gutters/downspouts on the back. My wife and I are extremely happy with the way everything turned out. The crew showed up every morning on time and diligently worked throughout the day. When everything was finally finished, they cleaned up all their mess and left things the way it was when they first began the job. As far as the owner is concerned, Mike, I can honestly say this was best contractor experience I've ever had in the 23 years we've lived in this house. He was always Johnny-on-the-spot anytime I had a question, and he also wasn't your quintessential salesman, which was great! I absolutely hate dealing with blowbag salespeople. Mike was just a very down to earth straight shooter. He never tried to upsell me on any of the products, he just gave me the genuine pros and cons to all the different options and let us make our own decisions without any pressure. There was nothing at all about this entire experience that I looked back on with regret. It was truly perfect! I wouldn't hesitate to use Midwest Seamless!

They were amazing! When someone comes in to your home, it can give you anxiety. Especially with 2 kids under 2 years old and all that goes with it. But they were attentive to every little thing. Asking if anyone was napping, if the noise would bother the 3 month old, etc. He was great to speak with. Very personable as well as knowledgeable about the job and other construction projects. By the time he was done (which was very quick for how amazing it looked), he was almost part of the family! We will definitely use him again and will be recommending him to everyone we know!

I needed an old maple tree removed, and this tree service made it stress-free. They handled everything from start to finish and even cleaned up better than I expected.
Had Don and Tommy out to trim 5 mature trees in my yard. Don was quick to call me back, show up for an estimate and was VERY fairly priced compared to a competitor estimate. They got on the job quickly (when conditions allowed). They were also mindful to limit damage to the yard, which isn’t completely avoidable even without equipment as I had large, high limbs, including one over the house. I would definitely use them again.

I have been going to Dr Susan for many years. She has helped me with sinus problems, back problems, and aches and pains. Last January 2019 I fell on the ice and bruised my tailbone. That was very painful, however Dr Susan really helped me recover from that. There have also been times when I've injured my back due to falling off a horse, and injuring it at work, but after just one visit (no joke) I felt much better. She does take insurance or self-pay. She's a great chiropractor and I recommend her on a semi-regular basis to all of my friends on Facebook.

I started seeing Dr Braden recently and holy crap! I've been to chiropractors off and on throughout my life since I was 7, and none of them have been as attentive or effective as he has. My back was in a serious pain. I couldn't walk with my back straight. I found Sexton Chiropractic and Wellness by Google search and made a same day appointment online. Doctor Sexton showed great empathy looking at me walking in his facility. He took X-Rays and performed chiropractic adjustments on my back. I felt a lot better after the first treatment. He explained my x-rays result. He also had me utilize one of his traction tables, and instructed me how to care myself at home. After 4 sessions within a week, I am healed, and feel free and healthy again. Dr. Sexton is extremely courteous, friendly, and professional. His front desk staff is also very friendly and efficient. The facility is very clean and very well equipped. I am grateful that Dr. Sexton relieves my pain and discomfort. I will keep visiting him for routine adjustments to maintain and improve my wellness.
Our visits to Iowa Family Chiropractic are always positive. Our children love getting seen by the doctors. We just had our first visit with Dr. Lindsey and she was great!! My cat is FIV positive, and Dr. Heyer took the time to thoroughly explain what that means, answering all of my concerns with compassion. She even checks in with us, which means a lot. I have a medical problem child who in her almost 9 years of life has had medical issues of one sort or another almost the whole time. Her medical records are in book form and she has her own medicine cabinet.? With her latest issue our hometown vet was giving us the runaround and prescribing even more pills and crossing their fingers. Nothing helped. Ok we're done here. Found the Wellness Center on line, called for an appointment and got in almost right away. The Doc checked her out and told me of the tests they could run but they weren't equipped to do an endoscope which is what was probably needed to be done to get to the bottom of her problem. The Doc referred us to another clinic that could do this and so ended our visit here. Needless to say I was disappointed because I really thought we'd finally get some answers. We did however get connected with the other clinic a couple of weeks later and this doctor came through for us. Angel was diagnosed with mega esophagus, aspiration pneumonia, and a uti More meds, a new diet plan and a different way of doing things and Angel is doing much better! And I have to applaud the Wellness Center even though we were only there that once because instead of running us through the ringer like our hometown vet she pointed us to where we needed to go. It truly shows that her patients well being is No. 1. And with that I thank her and her staff!

I can't recommend Beaverdale Vet Clinic enough! I called 20 minutes before closing when my dog broke her dew claw and our regular vet was closed for the day. I have taken numerous classes from Carolyn. She is wonderful and teaches you the techniques to Spring Forest Qiqong. Not only does she teach you techniques, she gives you handouts to take home and by the end of the class you are able to do the practice by yourself. I highly recommend Carolyn and her practice.
