Best Heating & Air Conditioning / HVAC In St. Augustine

“Last summer (July), my husband watched a Griffin service technician replace the capacitor with a brand new one out the box. Fast forward to today, August 18th, the capacitor stopped working during the hottest time of the day!?

I called Powell (the original installers of our Carrier AC) at 4:42pm, and was told Andre would be here in 15 minutes; he arrived at 5:06pm!? Not only was he punctual, pleasant, and knowledgeable, Andre wore shoe covers in our home and used PPE, which shows he understands safety and liability; a true asset to the Powell organization. Andre effectively and efficiently discovered the capacitor was bad and replaced it in under an hour!?

Apparently, the capacitor that Griffin used was factory, which suggests they charged us $300+ for a used/refurbished part! It's no surprise that Griffin is out of business.?

Also, I want to say thank you to the young lady who called me back to confirm that Andre was on the way; my apologies for forgetting your name.?

Needless to say, my family of 7 won't be suffering the remainder of the Forida hot season, thanks to Andre and Powell Heating & AC!❤️?“

“I am now a retired HVAC work leader from a hospital on the coast of Virginia as well as had my own residential HVAC company at the same time. I noticed that the aluminum coils on most equipment on the coast would gaul quickly reducing the average life expectancy from 12-15 years to around 8 years. I mandated use of Bronz-Glow or coils made of copper to get maximum life from the systems often. The cost was well worth the extra life on equipment.“

Jerry was: on time, very professional, highly knowledgeable of the system, very detailed, did a great job of explaining everything to me and made sure that I fully understood everything things that he was telling me about my system; and he answered all of my questions. At no time during this service call did I feel like he was rushing to complete the job in order to get on to his next assignment.
Bottom-line: He made me feel as if he was servicing his parents HVAC system.

“We just had an absolutely fantastic experience with Advanced Air when they removed our old hot water heater tank and we replaced it with an electric tankless hot water heater! We live in a condo in Palencia and every square foot of available space is critical in a condo but we were also concerned about a traditional hot water tank rupturing and having water go into the units below us. The sales rep Josh came out to our unit, reviewed whether or not the tankless would be a good fit for us, went through all of our questions and we were satisfied. Two weeks later we had two awesome technicians come out, remove the old tank and install the new one. It is been a great decision! If you ask your friends about electric tankless hot water heaters you'll get every Monday Morning Quarterback tell you "Oh no, they're not very good" so I did my own research and vetted it myself and it's been worth it.
