1705 Branham Ln # B5, San Jose“I want to give a huge thank you to Jake at F45 Branham Park!
From the moment I walked in, Jake greeted me with a warm welcome and made me feel comfortable. He gave some of the best explanations of every station I've ever received. I'd also like to recognize the other coach working that morning. I didn't catch his name, but he did an excellent job as well.
As someone who has been an F45 member for about two plus years and has visited around 15+ different F45 studios, I can honestly say Jake is one of the best coaches I've had. Throughout the workout, he continuously checked on my form and posture to make sure I was doing every exercise correctly.
What impressed me even more was that this was a very busy 7:00 a.m. Tuesday class with about 20 members, yet he still made everyone feel seen and supported.
Before I left, I chatted with Jake and actually thought he was the owner because of the pride and professionalism he showed. He told me he wasn't, but he treats every member and the studio as if he owns it. That level of passion and care is rare and deserves recognition.
Thank you Jake, and thank you to the entire F45 Branham Park team for an outstanding experience. I'll definitely be back!
Not to mention some of the cool cars I've seen here!“

2937 Union Ave #A, San Jose“MD at The Perfect Workout in San Jose truly changed my life. I came in with real concerns and left stronger, healthier, and pain-free.
Training before my ACL surgery was a game-changer. The prehab we did cut my knee rehab time dramatically — literally days instead of weeks. My surgeon and physical therapist were blown away by how fast and strong my recovery was.
On top of that, I had been dealing with sciatica that no one else seemed able to fully solve. MD identified the root cause, addressed it methodically, and it’s been completely cured ever since. No flare-ups, no recurring pain — just gone.
MD is incredibly knowledgeable, precise, and offers personalized coaching. You’re never just “working out” — you’re training with purpose, safety, and long-term results in mind.
If you’re in San Jose and want smart training that actually fixes problems (not just burns calories), this is the place. I couldn’t recommend it more. ?“

“Joe is an AMAZING personal trainer. I am motivated, challenged, and encouraged to surpass my own limitations. I am impressed with the way he keeps up with my progress via an interactive app. He makes you feel like you are his only client. I appreciate how he comments and makes suggestions on my food choices, and if I am not meeting my walking or exercise goals, he will give me gentle reminders to get back on track. His expectations during our workouts are for me to do my best and push past my own mental blocks on what I think I can do. He is cordial, complimentary, and probably the best fitness choice I have ever made for myself.“

474 Piercy Rd, San Jose“What CFCV means to us? It’s a part of our life since we have started. It’s helped both me and my partner to get clarity not just in terms of physical space, but largely where we are and what we need to both in terms of our daily work life and the mental space we are in. The vibe within our CFCV fam is more of a tribe and we have seen members with different experience and strength just keep carrying good vibes over and over again. The support and coaching is just the icing that just comes out to the display with every week we have been here because we all just keep getting better. At the end all that matters is being a better version of yourself than yesterday and CFCV helps in a major way ❤️“

1525 Meridian Ave, San Jose“This is a unique and wonderful gym. I've heard about them first through the silicon valley rainbow chamber of commerce for Birch and iron fitness is a member. My good friend decided to join and with my desire for better Health and fitness took an introductory class with the owner, who is fantastic and warm and friendly by the way, and I was sold. I have the monthly membership and I also am seeing a personal trainer, who is also wonderful and amazing. That that is not at cookie cutter training session that they asked you about your body and your needs and how you move and they really assess what is best for you and your goals. It a small and quaint and they pride themselves. Inclusivity and diversity. It's a small neighborhood gym with a big heart.“

319 Piercy Rd, San Jose“I started my Jiu Jitsu journey right here in Battle Control MMA. Having tried several Martial Arts in the past before coming here I stepped into the gym wary of one thing. Arrogance.
I was pleasantly surprised by the Instructor and owner Greg Lara's attitude. Is he a humble man? Perhaps a bit more humble than your typical guy, but he is certainly approachable. Too many martial artists think they are better than others and it shows. Some Martial artists are outright thugs. This is not Greg Lara. I trust this man and I respect him.
As for instruction, let me tell you. Jiu Jitsu is one of the deepest martial arts I have tried to learn. You can't help but feel overwhelmed by the complexity of what's happening in each grappling match you engage in. But the great thing is that you experience it in real time and you learn to adapt, to counter, to improvise and overcome. Battle control is a great place to do that.
The classes are about conditioning your body while drilling technique then putting into practice. It's tough, its a little dangerous, and it extremely rewarding.
Battle control is owned by a Christian believer and like any dojo there is an element of spirituality on the mats. This gym bring Jesus to practice and believe me this makes a difference. Humility and care should never be separate from practice as we are competing with each other while using joint locks and chokes that could genuinely harm another person. I believe this is handled very well here.
In essence this is a great place to learn and grow your skills in grappling, wrestling and conditioning. I recommend for anyone who wants to challenge thems lives and I come their shortcomings.“

2230 Will Wool Dr #107, San Jose“Jah is amazing with young athletes, I have 2 teenager girls playing club volleyball, they have been working with him for almost 3 years now. It’s been really nice to see how far they came along, becoming stronger, with increased vertical jumps, and preventing injuries with more muscular control. Jah is also such a kind and encouraging mentor, giving them advices and engaged with their achievements, we love him!“

1190 S Bascom Ave Open Workstation Alcove, San Jose“I have been part of Dr. Jennings's Strength-Training Sessions for over 2 months now and have gleaned many helpful techniques on how to best build various core muscles. AND, I have noticed my biceps growing!! - Dr. Jennings, a former world-class power-lifter, has been coaching us on the importance of maintaining the correct form (with both newcomers and continuing attendees) and he is very encouraging to help the motivation going! - We have been privileged to train on the special MedX equipments which are uniquely designed to isolate specific muscle groups.
Another cool thing about these stations rotation is that we usually complete the entire workout in about 20 minutes and it's only twice a week!! BUT, we feel and see the muscle-growth developing :) Such effective & time-conserving workout!!“

411 Perrymont Avenue, San Jose“Long overdue review. If you’re interested in learning Muay Thai in the mecca of MMA - this is the gym to train! I’ve been wanting to go to this gym since I’ve moved to San Jose and I finally made time for a private session with Rey. Rey was kind, attentive, and easily spotted all errors I was making - from shadow boxing, weight adjustments, defense (my lack of!). I am a huge fan of the arts, and to learn that Rey was part of the Golden Age in San Francisco was an added bonus! Once my work schedule changes, I’ll definitely be returning. If you want to do more than “just workout” and become a lifelong student of the art of the 8 limbs - then pack your gear (don’t forget sneakers for running) and head over to Team Rey’s. Thank you Rey!“

“This is my third year working out with GSP in the summer to prepare myself for my hockey season where they do a great job of building overall power and explosiveness. At the end of every summer I see a substantial difference in my power and speed compared to the beginning due to their coaches being able to assess the correct weight I should be lifting and pushing me. Their programs allow for their athletes to build strength while still keeping and building athleticism which is perfect for anyone. I would highly recommend GSP to anyone that is looking to train for their sport or overall health and mobility.“
