“I had Next install a brand new heat pump in my condo in SF to replace an old furnace. They did a great job and price was reasonable. Some minor delays and the project ran over in terms of time but the two folks working on the project stayed late to get the job done. I would say that the only negative feedback is that the communication could have been better when delays / issues were occurring on when they would come back, etc. I had to be proactive to call their office but other than that they did an excellent job and I could not be more than happy with my new heat pump“

“It was a 50 gal gas heater that had become cranky and needed to be swapped out. The top price that was offered was $ 1000 +… I paid $ 2950 but that seems to be the going rate. It does seem pricey. Gary and gang did their thing well and they should be recommended.“

They were professional, easy to have in the house, they did a great job, and they left the house spotlessly clean at the end of each of their work days. “A Heat Pump was installed by Building Efficiency, replacing my old gas furnace. This enabled me to have a good heat source without the smell of a gas furnace and to have AC when needed. They worked closely with me to establish the best location for the heat pump (which does generate some noise of its own), were clear about the time frame in which we neede to schedule the work, and cleaned up afterward. They also continued support of the project afterward to fine tune the interior filter which had been making noise (fixed!) and helped me to understand the different ways for the new thermostat to be used. Staff was helpful, friendly, respectful of my home and my schedule.
(I noted in services provided both heat and AC as Heat Pump was not a specific item listed. The price was considerable higher than the 2000 top price to choose in the cost listings! Over 20K.“
