“We hired Building Efficiency to convert our failed gas water heater to an energy-efficient electric heat pump water heater. David Hamburger did the site review/estimating; and office manager, Mae Adams, handled the admin and rebates. We all worked very well together. Building Efficiency also coordinated nicely with an electrical company doing other upgrades in our home to locate a new 220V/240V line to the site. The Building Efficiency installation team was also very professional and swift in their installation, which required moving/reinstalling another unit's adjacent water heater and providing a new/expanded base pan for both tanks. David also worked with us to find the most efficient heat pump that would fit into the area's physical constraints. The City permit inspector was very complimentary of the final installation, which was nice confirmation of a job well done. We are very happy with the results of our new energy-efficient, electric-heat-pump, water heater. The BAYREN rebate just arrived today, and the very important conversion from gas to electric was well worth it. Thank you Building Efficiency!“

“Heat didn't go on as scheduled at 6 AM. Checked out the thermostat and it was OK. Jeff Stuckert called me back between his jobs and explained the common furnace problems and how to find them on the circuit board under the heating section. Then he asked for me to send him the wiring diagram photos and found the fuse which could be the problem. It was. Heat went on and off in response to the thermostat. He really knows his stuff!!!I very highly recommend him.“

“Had a couple of issues at my parent's home and James resolved both. Their dryer was continuously increasing time for each load of laundry, James saw that a mesh filter was incorrectly added to the vent, which was trapping lint. He removed the mesh filter and the problem was solved! Also, their forced air unit was noisy and struggling to get heat out. A simple filter change fixed the problem.“

“We had an absolutely amazing experience with Kevel, from beginning to end. They gave us a home energy audit, and we moved forward with a project incorporating some modifications to our system. I give them my highest recommendation! 1) Every person we interfaced with was professional, and helpful, and just nice. 2) Project was timely, and everything worked out as expected and promised. The only minor drawback is that they are good at what they do, and popular, so there was a bit of time waiting to initially get our project in their queue. “I had an old heater replaced in my residence that was a Coleman vintage, at least 50 years old, that was settling off my Carbon Monoxide alarm. Eagle Refrigeration had been chosen by the property manager to replace the heater. The heater installers (Franks and David) who work under owner Herman Escajadillo, were extremely thorough and knowledgeable and had quite pleasant demeanors. They were respectful of my property and finished the work in a timely manner, without sacrificing quality. I would recommend them highly if there is any work needed in the HVAC area.
