“I had Next install a brand new heat pump in my condo in SF to replace an old furnace. They did a great job and price was reasonable. Some minor delays and the project ran over in terms of time but the two folks working on the project stayed late to get the job done. I would say that the only negative feedback is that the communication could have been better when delays / issues were occurring on when they would come back, etc. I had to be proactive to call their office but other than that they did an excellent job and I could not be more than happy with my new heat pump“

“The motherboard on my Kitchen Aid gas stove/oven went out. All State was recommended by the manufacturer so I called them. That was on a Wednesday, and Daniel their tech was at my house on Friday to assess. The motherboard was fried, so a new one had to be ordered. Daniel, ordered the part, it came in within 4 days and he offered to install it on 4th of July - I declined that day and he came on the 7th and had the stove operational in about 45 minutes. Expensive repair, but the service level was great. Quick response time, good communication and Daniel arrived at the times he told me he would. All my appliances are KitchenAid, and fairly young in appliance terms, less than 10 years, so if I have any other issues I will call all State Appliance Repair again. BTW, Daniel's work comes with a one year guarantee - something many of these places don't offer. I recommend All State Appliance Repair and give a shout out of Thanks! to Daniel.“

“I highly recommend Appliance Repair Tech. I needed to repair my water dispenser in my fridge. I made a bunch of calls to several repair shops, ART was the only shop that picked up and scheduled an appointment for me. They came out quickly, figured out the issue with the dispenser. They came back out a few days after they got the part and fix my fridge! It’s hard to find a honest and small business that would take on “small” jobs nowadays. Frank called me back very promptly and asked me if I had tried a few things that might be the problem. After I got off the phone with Frank I thought I would check a few things that he had suggested. I called Frank back and told him the reset button on the outlet next to the cooktop needed to be reset. Frank was so helpful and kind. “Sal went above and beyond just diagnosing our stove (he hasn’t even repaired it yet). He took the time to thoroughly explain why it wasn’t working and walked us through the repair options step by step.

What I appreciated most was his honesty and transparency. He gave us the choice of either purchasing the parts ourselves or having him handle everything for us, with absolutely no pressure at all. He even helped us research the parts we needed and gave helpful suggestions on what to buy.

“We have had 2 great experiences with Stan & his crew. First our LG oven had a flakey temperature sensor that didn't allow the oven to heat reliably. He and his team fixed that in short order. Then recently we had an issue with our Electrolux dryer "heat outlet" needing to be replaced in the back of the dryer drum. He and his team disassembled the dryer, replaced the part, and had it all working again in a matter of a couple of hours. I will definitely be keeping Smart Solution Appliance's info to help keep my appliances in good working order, and out of the dump! Thank you Stan & Will! PS - if you look at the 1 star reviews here, put them in context... they are expectation mismatches. Unfortunately appliances don't last like they used to, warranties don't cover what you think they might, and sometimes things just break, don't shoot the messenger. These guys do good work.“

“There are two appliance repair companies in San Francisco that have 35+ years of experience. I called the first one and after 10 rings with no answer, I called Allstate. After 2 rings, I got a person on the line and booked 12:00 noon - 2:00 pm window on the same day. Dimitri arrived at 12:00 noon, looked at the dryer and asked a few questions. He said he knew what was wrong, could fix it and gave a quote. He came across as trustworthy and as someone who knows what he's doing. This is very important to first time customers. He had to get a part and scheduled the repair the following morning. He was quick, friendly and professional. I will definitely call Allstate and Dimitri for my next appliance repair need.“
