“We took our time to get 6 quotes for our roof replacement and new skylight installation. We were looking for a company that would install our chosen product Owens Corning Duration Cool, their estimate needed to be fair, and most importantly, their project manager needed to be easy to work with. After meeting with Alex from Forever Builders a few times (and screened his ratings on Yelp, oh yes we sure did), who seemed to meet all of the above checkpoints, we took a chance with him and Forever Builders. “Remodeled our house a few years ago and realized that the attic wasn't getting enough airflow. We called Dar at Alma roofing to come take a look. He came out quickly and told us what we thought, not enough roof vents as they were only on one side. He recommended we try calling our GC and original roofer to see if they would come back out to fix by adding the correct number vents. He also said that they don't typically do jobs this small but to let him know if we run into any problems and he'll see what he can do. We weren't able to get anywhere with the orginal team so called Dar after ~ 2months. He had someone there within a few days to install the vents. Kept his word and did a great job. Would highly recommend these guys.“

Our house needed a new roof and we wanted to make sure we got it done before the rainy season. We got quotes from five companies and not only was the quote process with Kendall pretty painless, his quote was better for a comparable statement of work. Kendall was no pressure, just explained what needed done, the options they offered, how the quote was calculated, what the quote did and did not cover, and left it in our hands. Tear off was quick and the team did such a good job picking up the yard appeared cleaner than when they started. The build crew was on time every day and was attentive to our property during the entire process. Each morning I was asked by the crew “If there is anything we can do to make this better for you just let us know”. At the end of each day they did a yard clean up, stored their tools, and left the property in as good a shape as they found it. The work finished on time and they did a last check of the roof and property and a final extensive clean up. Kendall did a final review with us, reminded us of the nice warranties we had and that we had his phone number if anything came up. They were very professional and not only told me what i needed, but also told me why, which is something i value. “In mid March I was given a mandate by my homeowners insurance company to replace our roof by a specific date, or else the policy would be dropped. “I had my roof redone in November, 2023 by Shake, Shingle and Roll. It was a shingle roof on the house and a flat roof on the garage. I was very pleased with the quality of the work, the knowledge of the materials and the communication with the office staff during the whole time. In July, 2024, I received a letter from my insurance company saying they were not going to renew my homeowner's insurance policy because of ponding on the roof, and for another reason, not to do with the roof. I have had this policy for over 25 years. I called the office of Shake, Shingle and told them what was going on. Dave came out to my house with an associate, walked my roof and explained to me about "Tobacco-Juicing" and said the roof is fine, there is no ponding. Priscilla and Dave wrote a letter explaining about "Tobacco-Juicing" and included photos, that I am submitting to my insurance company. I am very grateful to all at Shake, Shingle and Roll.
