I have a flat low slope roof and since there is no attic the heat would radiate down into the house. Prior to the new roof, the outside temperature was 77 degrees, the inside temperature of the ceiling was 88 degrees, and I was running the AC all the time during really hot days because the house would never cool down with all the heat radiating from the ceiling. After the PVC roof installation, the ceiling temperature dropped to 76.5 degrees with an outside temperature of 77. This was a significant change in the comfort level inside the house. I rarely have to run my AC and if I do it’s set on the *dry* mode during humid days.
I obtained three bids and narrowed it down to two companies. I worked with Gaston who was incredibly helpful and patient throughout the vetting process. He was prompt and very thorough in answering all of my questions. His bid proposal was by far the most detailed and comprehensive. Maria, the executive assistant in the office, was also very helpful in providing all the additional detailed documentation I requested, e.g., product specification sheets, manufacturer warranty, insurance and certifications.
Oscar was the foreman and he and his crew were always on time and started working at 7:00am each morning. They worked tirelessly during a very hot and humid week. Jose, site supervisor, checked in daily and was very reassuring throughout the entire process. On day one I met the owner, Tony, who stopped by again as the job was wrapping up.
