Such a unique and lovely concept! The place feels fresh and light with plants surrounding it. They serve midwife and baker pastries, which is always good. I ordered a cappuccino and was delighted to see that it cane with some dried flowers attached to the cup! Servers were friendly and fast. Would want to come back to try their matcha and other drinks.

One of the big branches from our cypress tree was snapped and dangling 2 weeks before our daughter's birthday. We contacted several tree services company. We went with JJI because I felt more comfortable with Joaquin when he came to our house for an estimate. On the day of the service, they did an excellent job, protected my deck, window, roof, etc with plywood and clean up after. Joaquin showed me what the finished project, gave me some recommendation and make sure I was satisfied before he left. I highly recommend Joaquin and his crew.

We loved this place!! My husband happened to pass by because its main road and got an excellent cut! We loved how precise she was, and generally so sweet and friendly. She even gave him a little baggy with Vietnamese treats. The place is a bit of your standard cozy barbershop. The cut was about $44! Highly recommend!

Great small salon. Very Well-run and consistent, attentive service from top to bottom. Since they are on the smaller side and actually book the right amount of time for each customer, they do get very booked up which is manageable by booking out your appointments well in advance. Always worth the wait.

Men Haircuts by Lilian is off Woodside Rd and Central Avenue in RWC in a Strip mall, between Dunkin' Donuts and 3 small restaurants. It is not a Salon, it is haircuts for Men, as the name clearly says, and it is by appointment only. This shop is very busy, so appointments in advance are necessary. However, she uses an app for the appointments, so it will go on your Google calendar, and send you reminders of your appointment date and time. Efficient!
Lillian is Vietnamese but speaks perfect English. She is very personable and very efficient in her haircuts. She has over 20 years experience and just celebrated 20 years at this location, her own shop.

Had my first haircut with Marcus and I’m already planning my next visit. He really listened to how I wanted my hair cut, took his time, and made sure everything was just right. The whole time, we were joking around, we had alot in common, making the experience super enjoyable. Marcus is precise and even asked for feedback halfway through to ensure my hair was looking how I wanted. The barbershop itself is clean and has a very comforting atmosphere. Marcus is so easy to talk to; it’s clear I’ve found my new favorite barbershop.

I started getting my dip done here a few months ago. Aaron is the best nail technician I have seen in years. I have gone to 3 other places in Redwood City and none of them even come close. He is very meticulous and detail oriented. If you’re careful enough to have thinner dip, he can do that. If you’re super hard on your hands (like me) he can do them thicker while still making them look amazing. No weird thick spots, still thinner at the cuticle, very smooth, and all around excellent shaping. He is also gentle and regularly checks in with you to make sure the Dremel isn’t too hot when removing the old dip. No cuts. No pain. I can get about 3 weeks out of my nails until they get too long and start to bother me. Highly recommend Aaron for dip.

I had MC Plumbing put in a property line clean out. Jose and his team were highly efficient and professional. He started the job immediately and had it complete in 2 days. The job looks great. They also cleaned up everything and hauled away the extra dirt. His pricing was much more fair than all the others I had talked to. I had him pull a permit and the inspector loved the work as well. I will definitely call them again with any other plumbing needs I have in the future.
Shoreway plumbing service person Fernando systematically & efficiently was able to locate, define and repair the shower hot water fluctuations we were experiencing and did so in a friendly and informative way.
We recently had some leaking problems with our hallway bathroom toilet in our condo. Our friend recommended Regina Plumbing. So I called them and they were very prompt. They replaced the toilet bowl wax rings in our two bathrooms, and we had to have the water shut off in our building for them to replace the toilet bowl valves. So they came back promptly the next week, and replaced the valves in both bathrooms. They were very professional and I am very pleased with their work. My only issue is for 3 1/2 hours of work, the price was $904. To me, as a senior citizen with social security as our only income, that was a bit too expensive. I do highly recommend their work for those people that can afford them.
Called at 10 am for emergency service of clogged sewer main. Receptionist was attentive and said she would call me back in 5 minutes because all her guys were out on jobs. She promptly called me back, had a technician on the way for service. Technician was quick, courteous and solved the issue at the agreed upon price and was done by 1pm. Second time using Oro Pro, and would recommend them for fast and thorough service.

I woke up to a power outage. PG&E came out that morning and said my fuse box completely melted and would need replacing. Thinking this would take at least a couple weeks to find an electrician and get permits, I was prepared for the worst. The first few calls confirmed the wait times, BUT, when I called Bayshore Electric they immediately understood the gravity of my situation and were able to replace my fuse box the same day as well as get emergency permitting and power back on!
They even upgraded my service from 100 amp to 200 amp since I was replacing the fuse box anyway. The installation was clean and professional. Everything works perfectly again.
Price was very reasonable given the circumstances. Couldn't be happier!

Lewis is the company you must use if you want clean carpets. We have them come out twice a year so that our carpets look clean and actually are clean deep down!
I highly recommend John Watt, Good Housekeeping Inc., for residential mold investigation, analysis, and remediation. He has access to breath of test modalities, depending on the level of investigation. In my situation we were able to correlate a household issue with a health issue. John is a very strong problem solver who traces the test results to the assignable causes. His remediation methods are natural and safe. In addition, I found his customer service, including scheduling, exceptional.

Once I was ready to get the project started, the crew was able to come out a few days later. They knocked it out quickly and with great quality.I had some in-ceiling speakers installed which was pretty involved since speaker wire had to be pulled through a number of obstacles in the ceiling and wall. They got it all patched up and looking like they were never there.They also hid other speaker and TV cables with high precision. I was notably impressed by how they did my Left/Right wall-mounted speaker cables. They took the time to precisely locate the holes they needed to cut so it would (1) be totally hidden and (2) exactly line up with the speaker terminal, which is a small target. It may sound trivial, but it actually would have been rather involved to get that right.In addition to the A/V work, we had them add some recess lights which look fantastic. The foreman was able to help us decide where to locate the lights and we super happy happy with where they are now.With all this work, it was still cheaper than going directly with the A/V installers I quoted initially for just the speaker and speaker wire install.I would 100% hire Rodi Construction again. We used Mayen Builders for some minor upgrades/remodeling to a bathroom, as well as some small touch up items elsewhere (e.g., drywall patch and paint). Hector was great to work with, and did great work. His particular superpower is communications - he communicates better than any other contractor I've worked with, including making sure that we know the impact of decisions we're making, we know the materials being used, etc. Hector also went above and beyond in a few ways on our job. As one example, we had arranged with Hector to pick up a new bathroom vanity and countertop from the warehouse. Hector picked it up, but then noticed some serious manufacturing defects that would have made the vanity not hold up long term. Instead of trying to hide the issue and take the path of least resistance, Hector actually went back to the wareouse and worked with them to ensure a new unit was provided. Rian and his crew at Rhino’s Construction, Inc were amazing for our ADU build, Very professional, easy to communicate with, and have a great attention to detail. San Carlos is not always an easy city to build in, permit and otherwise, but Rhino’s Construction, Inc is very familiar with their process/requirements, which is extremely helpful, for both you and what the city is looking for. I highly recommend them for an ADU or any other new construction and/or remodel.
Steve, Majid and Kevin did an impressive job on my full bathroom remodel. Steve had excellent design ideas and was patient with my indecisiveness; Majid’s tight coordination of the subcontractors got the job done in one month (which was ahead of schedule!) and Kevin was responsive to my requests for touch-ups at the end. All the workers were friendly, courteous, and professional. I appreciate the quality of their work and am pleased with their completive pricing. (Their “package deal” easily beat the 3 bids I got from independent contractors, even though I “switched out” some of the items in their package.) It was a positive experience from start to finish! (Tip: Be sure to discuss your preferred placement of the vanity lights with Majid or he will install them 1 foot from the ceiling, too high for my taste.)

My front lawn and rear lawn was full of gopher holes. Ronal's brother William put an end to the gopher problem after four visits that spanned two months.William was responsive when I saw a fresh mound appear. He came out the next day to set a trap at the mound.

We are very happy with our new front yard, Brent Landscaping is the best in Northern California, especially for Bay Area homes looking to upgrade their homes with a beautiful landscape job. From the design and layout by Xochitl Brent and the expert wisdom and knowledge by owner Dan Brent it was just awesome what they came up with. The whole project was done perfectly with care and true craftsmanship, and they took great care with the existing structure. It’s a huge upgrade for our property, and our house looks like the Best one on the block! Dan and his crew finished ahead of schedule and did a beautiful job. One of the big branches from our cypress tree was snapped and dangling 2 weeks before our daughter's birthday. We contacted several tree services company. We went with JJI because I felt more comfortable with Joaquin when he came to our house for an estimate. On the day of the service, they did an excellent job, protected my deck, window, roof, etc with plywood and clean up after. Joaquin showed me what the finished project, gave me some recommendation and make sure I was satisfied before he left. I highly recommend Joaquin and his crew.

This week, I tried Pilates for the first time at RockSalt Studio in Redwood City. My friend dragged me out of bed at 6:00 AM for this adventure haha. Luckily, finding parking was a breeze since it was early. Walking into the studio, I was blown away by how clean and cozy it was. The instructor gave us a warm welcome, setting the vibe for the whole class. She explained everything in a way that even newbies like me could understand, which was a huge relief. What I loved most was how chill the class was. I didn't feel pressured to keep up with everyone else; I could go at my own pace. The instructor was so positive and helpful, always making sure I was doing the moves right. Plus, the equipment was top-notch and easy to use. After the class, I couldn't wait to come back for more. It was such a great experience, and I'm already looking forward to my next session.

I’ve had the best massages here—better than anywhere else in the Bay Area. Betty gives incredible deep tissue massages with just the right amount of pressure, and Mario is excellent at focusing on problem areas like shoulders where stress tends to build up. On top of that, they offer a private redwood sauna that you can enjoy before or after your massage, which is such a relaxing bonus. Highly recommend!
My review of Stephania Humphrey sounds like the others here, I came in with severe sciatica symptom pain that has plagued me for a year now, and this was a last-ditch effort to find some kind of care to avoid surgery. I had lumbar surgery 25 years ago, did not want another, and had seen specialist MDs (including prednisone pills and epidural cortisone injections), lots of physical therapy, and chiropractor during this past year, to no avail. I did get some improvement from an anti-inflammatory diet, but what has really helped me get my life back (in only 4 sessions) is the treatment from Stephania - especially the deep tissue massage. I regularly go to Nancy and Edgar at Massage Envy in Redwood City; they are both great therapists. I like deep tissue and they both provide the right amount of pressure for me. Edgar also includes some stretching in his practice, which I often need due to sitting for long hours at work. He regularly checks in with you about the degree if pressure throughout your session. I always walk out feeling relaxed. Also, Front desk staff is very friendly and professional.
I was hesitant to go because of the very mixed reviews, however, I got a really strong, good massage from Lisa. She addressed the areas that give me trouble and really worked on those. I'm totally happy with this and the price is reasonable. There is definitely a language barrier, and you got to work with that.

I sit a lot at work and have both neck and back problem. In addition, I danced often so my legs are tight as well. We have only positive things to say about Bay 1 Driving School! We met Wilfin a decade ago when he was driving my kids on the school bus in Menlo Park. He was always such a kind, warm, helpful driver and so good with the kids. I immediately contacted him when I needed driving lessons for my son. Wilfin is quick to respond and his pricing is reasonable. We went on lessons with Rosa and Mike and both of them were great. He accommodated our schedule and the instructors were punctual, friendly and patient with my son.
