Dontay is a hair magician! He gave me the pixie cut of my dreams. I've always wanted short hair, but I was nervous about making the big chop. Dontay put me at ease immediately and he took the time to understand my hair and my style. He suggested a pixie cut with a bit of texture and edge, and I absolutely love it!Dontay is a master of his craft. He's incredibly talented and he has a great eye for detail. I hadn't had a haircut in over a year (due to some trauma from my last cut that went very wrong) and was very anxious, but everyone on my work team said Dontay is the best, so I decided to give him a try.First of all, I accidentally mixed up the days and showed up to my appointment a week early. Dontay kindly informed me of my error, but told me he had a last minute cancellation and could work me in on the spot! He quite literally dropped what he was doing to accomodate me.The amazing cut and style he acheived were exactly what I asked for and I can't say enough great things about the experience.Dontay lives up to all the hype and I will definitely be going back soon!

I had the chance to meet Dontay while I was staying in Mountain View for an event. He was able to identify some of the best cuts and treatments for my hair type. I have dense, wavy-curly hair that frizzes easily. To be honest, caring for my own hair can be overwhelming to the point where I'll put it in a ponytail and ignore it.I left with not only a great haircut, but also a deeper understanding of how to approach my own hair care.
