“I bought the $8 promo week and was hooked after the first 2 classes. ANGELA is the best. So personable and is great at motivation to get the class done!! I love the open gym Fridays. They take the guess work out of what to do. It's written on the board and there's also a trainer going around demonstrating the moves. This place is great for beginners and also for intermediate gym rats! I love not having to figure out what to do at the gym. And there's parking!! Win win!!“

“Janis not only provides an excellent massage, she listens and incorporates specifics of the body issue or injury to optimize therapy. She is quite strong and has great working knowledge of the little muscle groups that often get overlooked. I appreciate the warmup and stretching techniques she showed me to continue my healing after the session was over.“

“I have never felt so good after a massage!! Niki is the most skilled massage therapist I’ve ever seen. Her knowledge of and experience with human anatomy and physiology, combined with her massage, acupuncture and yoga training/experience, all make her a powerhouse?. I am so thankful I found her. I highly recommend the monthly membership so you are reminded to experience this healing self care every month!“

“I have been loving going to Barre3. Their instructors are friendly, the workouts are challenging but adaptable, and I get time to feel closer to myself and the community when I’m in the studio. 100% would recommend trying them out.“

“I had been using the same trainer for many years and decided it was time for a change. I was really nervous. I am very happy to say that I have been thrilled with the change. I am consistently treated with extreme respect and professionalism and Chris is fun to have as a trainer. He knows just how hard to push me. I would recommend this gym to anyone.“

“Started at P3 over 8 years ago when stationed here in SD. Had to PCS and we were gone for 6 years! Came back to a Saturday morning class after less than 2 weeks being back and loved it. Sherry did an amazing job.The class did not disappoint and I've missed Lori and the studio. I cannot wait to get into more classes. I feel great!“

“I’ve been coming to Pier to Point for awhile now and I have to say this place is phenomenal ? I started taking the Aerial yoga classes after 3 pinky surgeries, and it helped me immensely with my grip strength and overall recovery! Then since they’ve opened the spa, I’ve been seeing Dawn regularly and I am in LOVE with the results of my skin!? She is so kind and knowledgeable I recommend everyone I know to come here for her services.. I also really enjoy taking the Mat Pilates classes, they give you such a good balance of burn from the workout and release with the roll and release balls. 10/10 establishment!!!♥️“

“An amazing studio! I originally walked over for a class because it is so close to my house, and was met with instructors who exude joy and a thorough understanding and respect for the individuality of each person's yoga practice. I love the wide range of classes and the friendliness of each instructor. Go here!“

“Our Experience has been one of Respect and Welcoming! I wish I could give them (HoD) 10 stars.1st- In the past We tried to enroll our kid in swimming lessons, we made it clear about his special need, and ended up dropping them, because they would berate my child and made us feel unwelcome.2nd- we tired gymnastics at the YMCA , and the instructor would get flustered and would act exasperated towards our child. In my opinion she did not have the patience, character, experience and or presence of mind to engage or deal with little kids.(3 to 5 y/olds) and finally3rd- we are currently here at the House of Discipline. I can honestly say that we could not have made a better choice. We came for a trial class and immediately my son could feel the vibe and the energy. He loves it, we love it. Let me point out that we didn't even mention about his special need, but they completely embraced him for whom he is. They engage him, respect him, redirect him and guide him as needed. Let me just say that my son can be stubborn when it comes to his attention span. He tends to focus or disengage very much at a whim. he follows his own pace. There has been many moments where we keep thinking "this is it, they're gonna hate us, they're gonna be done with us, they're gonna tell us he can't come to class" but each and every one of those moments I'm proved wrong, by their generous empathic patient approach. They are teaching him to control his body and to focus his mind. I highly recommend HOD to any parent that is looking for a fun wholesome and consistent activity for their kids. Very well worth it. You'll immediately see positive changes in your mini me. Thanks to every one at HOD, especially Miss Evelyn, and Miss Star!“

“I really can’t speak more highly of The Spinal Connection. I found them about 1.5 years ago when I needed active release therapy / sports massage work done. Chris is comparable to my massage therapist back in Baton Rouge who worked on Olympic athletes. He’s so knowledgeable about the muscle groups and takes the time after sessions to show you how they’re all intertwined. Any time my body is really hurting from training, he’s my goto person.I’ve seen each of the massage therapists, all of which have been incredible in their own unique ways. Dr. Ali and Dr. Katie are so welcoming and never forget my name when I walk in. I love this place!“

“Do yourself a favor and schedule a massage with Two Hands Wellness immediately! Not only are they responsive and on top of scheduling, they were accommodating when I had to change my appointment. I got an at-home, prenatal massage with Katie and it was incredible. She was professional, friendly, and an amazing masseuse. I can't wait for my next appointment!“

“This was one of the best massages ever. Max is fabulous. He has a very calming energy and helped me feel really comfortable. He asked me many questions to make sure the massage was being directed the right way and works with many different modalities, including pressure points with deep tissue which I loved. And, as someone else said, Max is definitely not a cookie-cutter masseuse. He knows what he's doing and does it really well. I'll be definitely recommending him and plan to go back.“

“This studio (at State and G) is great and the instructors are amazing!!! They have completely turned around my view towards exercise!!! Specifically, Annie has been incredible as a Pilates expert - her tone is understanding and her words encourage students to try and do their best. In addition, Galina is wonderful - I always enjoy her classes and she, too, brings out the best in me!!! In my opinion, the instructors make all the difference between a mediocre workout and one that is over-the-top encouraging!!! This is what I have found at Beyond Pilates!!! Ann Gladys“

“Yoga Arts is a wonderful place to practice yoga whether you are new to yoga or if you’ve practiced for many years. The instructors are very skilled and also friendly and welcoming. The classes throughout the week are diverse and offer many different options and focuses. The instructors are especially great at helping each person throughout the class whenever someone may need a modification to a pose to make it accessible to them. And if that isn’t enough there is Citrine Spa connected to the studio should you need a massage or other healing treatment. I highly recommend Yoga Arts!“

“It was my first time with the instructor Sue Ann and only my second time at this studio because I don't live in SD, but already I can't wait to return. There is something very satisfying about taking a class that is both familiar (Iyengar) but also challenging, when you are taught new poses. It was restorative but not "nap time" for adults. We also we used the rope wall, my favorite, and lots of props. Tip: get there early, parking can be difficult.“

“I have been attending various classes here over the past few years and it’s time I give them a shout out! All the staff and yogis are friendly and encouraging. I started as a beginner, attending maybe 1-2 yoga classes and never hot yoga. Each instructor has their own style and tips, which I find helpful in my growth. They are always available for questions and assistance. My favorite classes are hot Pilates, hot yoga, and yin but there’s truly a class for everyone here! This place helped me recover physically and mentally after the pandemic and I’m forever thankful for this community I’ve been provided with! Love y’all SD Yoga Center ??For the building itself, they also have showers and a locker type room upstairs for women. Not many places offer that and it’s a nice amenity to have!“
