I had a rough spinal injury in early 2023, and my body was not responding much to physical therapy, and I was struggling to do basic things like walking. Eventually, my physical therapist kept recommending Pilates to me, and I searched the area for a Pilates instructor who could help me. I called Mercy around June 2023, and Mercy replied that she has worked with individuals with mild to severe conditions and believes she could help me. Although I was reluctant to trust any form of exercise, after two months of pilates sessions with her ONLY once a week, I started noticing more significant changes to my abilities, which was not getting changes from physical therapy. Mercy works on your WHOLE body; it's a holistic approach to bringing your body the best stability so you can do what you want and move how you need to. I've noticed many changes and learned many things about joints, my nervous system, etc. This is also coming from someone who experiences nerve pain, which is I'm sure if you experienced, not fun at all. Almost a year later, I'm moving much better, all thanks to Mercy's guidance. Her expertise and dedication have been instrumental in my recovery, and I feel deeply grateful to have found such a supportive and impactful person. Also lulu and meka are the CUTEST“

Then the young people that they trained showed up and started working out and having fun. I was sold. I signed up my son and he worked with Bishop twice a week. Since working with coach Bishop he has been increasing in strength and speed but the most important thing was his confidence in himself. What more can I ask for.
I highly recommend this training space for all ages but specifically for teens and young adult but no other gym had programs specifically setup up for my son's age range. Thank you“

I had never done a formal training program before, and I was looking to lose body fat and gain strength for my upcoming wedding. After my consultation and movement assessment, Miguel and his team created a program for me that allowed me to meet my goals. Miguel really takes the time to explain proper form with each exercise, which was important to me. I never feel like I am walking into a workout, unsure of what to do. I already feel stronger and have more energy throughout my day. I feel supported and encouraged by the whole Own It team and would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a great personal training experience.“

I've been going with my mom for over a year and it's a great habit we've adopted. Sessions are a combination of weights, cardio, trx, and stretching, changing each time, with a focus on mobility and strength. The exercises within the session are slightly different to keep us each challenged. Stephen is a positive force; he's very professional, and carefully crafts exercises for all ages. Gym is clean and there's a restroom on site.“

He's very focused on helping you recover fast and in addition to chiropractic treatment he usually has suggestions on lifestyle changes. We changed our pillows on his advice and that has been a game changer for quality of sleep. Through his motivation I was able to eliminate the need for visiting him but I do take my mom in for adjustments once in a while. I highly recommend him!“

“Joe is an AMAZING personal trainer. I am motivated, challenged, and encouraged to surpass my own limitations. I am impressed with the way he keeps up with my progress via an interactive app. He makes you feel like you are his only client. I appreciate how he comments and makes suggestions on my food choices, and if I am not meeting my walking or exercise goals, he will give me gentle reminders to get back on track. His expectations during our workouts are for me to do my best and push past my own mental blocks on what I think I can do. I’ve gone to many who never understood my fitness goals and Rojin broke it down from the diet to the plan of action and then even took the time to follow up with me on my off days to make sure I was sticking to our 4 month plan. She knows what she’s doing and she helped me gain a total of 16 pounds when my initial goal was 8. Doubled my weight. Quadrupled the time I would be in the gym, and the investment came back tenfold. Paying $33 for a drop in feels absolutely gashing. That's partially on me for not looking up the price before heading in for a class, but never in my wildest dreams could I imagine this tag for a single class. I realize cost of living is high in South Bay, but we all have different financial situations and I know mine will keep me from coming back. Great spot though if you can afford it.“
