I really like the atmosphere and the positive energy from the trainers. The one-on-one coaching has kept me motivated and consistent with my workouts. Though it's a smaller gym and can feel a bit crowded during the peak hours, it's never overwhelming. It feels a lot more friendly and communal compared to a big chain gym. It's also cool that multiple trainers know my name. I've worked with three of the trainers and I really like my current trainer Yoav. He's upbeat and knowledgable and is quick to adjust the program or provide coaching when something isn't working for my body. Personal training does cost a bit more, but it's nice to not have an added gym membership fee....read full review
I usually do not write reviews, but I felt like I needed to write one for this great team. I have been working out with Joey, Howard, and a few other trainers at SVA for over a year now, and this is the best investment I have made for myself. The team is not just very experienced, professional, and committed to their work, but also one has a feeling of being part of a community. Also, Joey always pays attention to his clients' satisfaction and progress. He does care about them. I recommend this training facility to everyone looking for professional and dedicated trainers to make positive life changes.
I've been training with Paul once a week since the beginning of the year and it's been great! I'm a lot stronger and feel a lot more comfortable and focused going to the gym on my own. He's a super chill guy and super knowledgeable. I always look forward to our workouts.
