5815 Sunset Blvd #105, Los Angeles“Fitness Covered is truly a hidden gem in Los Angeles and an absolute 10/10 for anyone looking for a more personalized, supportive, and well-rounded fitness experience. I’ve been in and out of gyms for years trying to find the right environment and coaching style, and I’m so grateful I found Fitness Covered!
From day one, the team here made me feel taken care of. Brandon, Kevin and Rex go above and beyond to understand your goals, your history, and any limitations you may have, and they tailor everything to make sure you feel confident, safe, and supported. Their attention to detail is unmatched, and you can tell they genuinely care about your long-term success, not just your workouts.
The space itself is clean, welcoming, and never overcrowded, which makes every session feel focused and intentional. Between the personalized training, the recovery tools, the nutrition guidance, and the overall positive energy, it’s such a refreshing change from the typical busy LA gym scene.
What I appreciate most is how empowering the process has been. I’ve learned how to lift with proper form, build strength without aggravating old injuries, and stay consistent with nutrition in a way that still allows balance (yes, I still enjoy my wine and weekend meals!). The accountability and support here genuinely make a difference.
Fitness Covered has played a huge role in helping me feel stronger, healthier, and more confident. If you’re looking for a private, high-quality gym with a team that truly cares about your progress, I couldn’t recommend this place more.
Thank you, Fitness Covered team, for everything you do!“

5926 Monterey Rd, Los Angeles“I worked with Lorena and her assistants at MOTI for 21 weeks during my recovery. I was truly happy and appreciative of the care, kindness, support and treatment that I received. I’ve had physical therapy at several other places in the past and now that I’ve been here, should I ever need treatment again, MOTI is the place I would choose.“

1641 Ellsmere Ave, Los Angeles“Ashlee is such a knowledgeable and supportive teacher. As someone new to Pilates (and reformer Pilates) I knew I was in good hands the moment Ashlee gave me specific feedback to work with my scoliosis. Her home studio is beautiful and provides a great space to work with the reformer outside of a group setting. I could feel my form improving over the course of our lesson. Ashlee is great!!“

11567 Santa Monica Blvd, Los Angeles“Shawn has played an instrumental role in helping me clear my mindset and work through negative limiting beliefs so I can live a healthy lifestyle in all arenas - from sleep, to nutrition, to exercise. The mind training has personally been the most useful to me to lay down a strong foundation of wellness. He's also getting me to shift my perspective on exercising and I'm lifting heavier weights than ever! I always look forward to every session - equal parts therapy and training. He's also connected me with great resources like a sports massage therapist and functional medical doctor to check my labs.“
6AM - 7:30PM
7312 Melrose Ave, Los Angeles“I am so grateful for the team at Training Loft. I came in highly intimidated by anything strength training related and my own body struggles. I cried my first session, ha! and now I have completed 19 sessions / 2 months in. I'll get back to you in a year about how much my body transforms (already down 2% body fat and 5 lb muscle increase) but this has been more internally healing. They remove much of the barrier to entry by making the sessions 30 minutes and holding you accountable with scheduling. The included Physical Therapy aspect makes the experience feel much more health-related than aesthetic, which I need. All the trainers are very very good. Have fun.“
7AM - 6PM
3000 Dolores St, Los Angeles“I worked with Armand and Jesus for a couple of months after suddenly experiencing sharp pain in my forearms and knees with almost any activity. Armand was able to pinpoint the root cause of my pain and walk me through exercises and lifestyle changes that made a real difference and helped me maintain progress. Jesus asked thoughtful questions and paid close attention to small details in my form that made a big impact on my results.
They are both skilled professionals and also very honest. When I no longer needed treatment, no one pushed me to continue. That by itself gives me confidence to return if I ever need help again. The front office team is also super friendly, positive, and helpful with scheduling and insurance questions - all around, a great experience, highly recommend!“

12400 Santa Monica Blvd, Los Angeles“I was initially sad to leave my former PT office due to my health insurance changing, but I am so grateful to have found Brooke at VERT. She is one of the most incredible PTs I have ever worked with. Her skill is next level. Her intuition always takes her to exactly where my problem areas are, and her magic hands perform miracles. I have had nothing but excellent experiences with all of the PT assistants and the exercises Brooke has recommended have really made a difference. Until I drop dead, Brooke is stuck with me. The facility is spacious, very clean and there is a ton of equipment. They even have an app you can use to do your exercises at home. It's great! I highly recommend VERT.“
“I have trained with Zoe at RITUAL and it has been life changing/ transformative. Zoe is an incredible trainer and the space is gorgeous. My body has transformed and the way I understand fitness has evolved completely. I saw Zoe before, during, and after my first pregnancy and she moved through all of those (very different) phases seamlessly and motivated and supported my fitness goals and evolving body throughout. Zoe also trains a few other people I know and she tailors the trainings to everyone differently based on their needs. I truly could not recommend Zoe and RITUAL fitness more highly.
Also I always had an easy time parking and could go get coffee or lunch after on York Street! A++ spot.“

0000 No Location, Los Angeles“Title: DC FITNESS Experience: A Yelp Review Importance: HIGH Dear fellow fitness enthusiasts, Today, I am here to share with you my long-overdue utterly disappointing experience at the DC fitness, formerly known as Lord's Gym. While I still strongly advise becoming a member at this gym. Prepare yourselves for a candid review that will leave you questioning a couple things, especially how management (it's only one manager) manages DC Fitness. Point blank, you need to do better sir. I've spoken to the staff about the issues at DC and they are all in agreement that it is you who doesn't take care of half the issues mentioned below. I'll skip MOST of the issues and just address the main ones (I've spoken to many members about this and it seems nothing changes and they've personally complained to you too). I'm not a big yelper reviewer guy but it's at a point where enough is enough and something needs to be done/ fixed ASAP. Towels- Fix the washer and dryer, it's not that hard. Signs- No one cares if the machine is broken and the signs have a "DC fitness" sign on it, just fix the machine. Equipment- Get new equipment, not that expensive considering you guys are the Dream Center and CAN make it happen. Outdoor area- Refer to above. Staff- Amazing (expect manager). Restroom- Not bad (compared to other globo gyms) 7/10, used to be a strong 10/10 but lately smells like bad BO and piss. In conclusion, Just do better, DC Fitness is a hidden gem of a gym that houses some extreme fitness fanatics that don't mess around. It's welcoming, it's where bonds are made, it's where people come to get sh*t done. It's your standard no thrills gym, with old school iron and iron accessories. This is where Arnold would train if he was still at it like he used to be. BS aside, I've been coming here for over 10 years, when it was red and yellow with a stage still at the very bottom where the squat racks are now (get more squat racks). Get some more bumper weights, invest in good equipment (half of the bars at the gym are so bent and broken down). This has been and will always be my home gym, it is where I began my fitness journey and I know plenty of people who feel the same. Take some pride and ownership in your position with DC Fitness, there's hope still or step down, promote other more deserving people who actually care about the gym and the gym goers and let them take care of business. Be a better manager. Happy training to all. Sincerely, CJ“

1947 N Cahuenga Blvd suite 101, Los Angeles“At 1 year postpartum I decided to finally reinvest in myself by signing up for personal training sessions at Sweat Equity Fitness. My four months with Arianna (Ari) both strengthened my physical body, and reminded me of what I'm capable - and worthy - of.
Ari took the time to cater a workout plan specific to my needs/concerns, offered up sincere and informed support, and always created a safe space. Added bonus: each session felt like hanging out with a gal-pal, which is simply a testament to how Ari approaches her clients - always friendly, always curious, always open to engage, and LAUGH.
Re-entering the world of movement & exercise can feel daunting, especially in a new, postpartum body, but I never once felt intimidated when walking through the doors of this gym. The whole team at Sweat Equity deserves a round of applause for creating such a welcoming, motivating, and inclusive space for folks to prioritize their health.“
