117 W Bellevue Dr #4, Pasadena“I was referred to Haig for his reputation as a great chiropractor, and I discovered he also has extensive knowledge of fitness and training. His approach is highly intuitive--he can pinpoint exactly where my pain originates and then teaches me how to prevent it from returning. Working with him has made me much more aware of my muscles and movement. Now, I can feel my muscles working during workouts without experiencing pain afterward. Haig is exactly who I needed to take my workouts to the next level while effectively managing pain before it becomes a bigger issue.“

They are attentive and helpful, and they prioritize safety and doing movements correctly. The classes are a great size, and are fun and never get boring. I was new to strength training when I joined, and I've learned so much from Lucy and all of the trainers. I highly recommend Peachy Strong for women all ages and abilities!“

3000 Dolores St, Los Angeles“I worked with Armand and Jesus for a couple of months after suddenly experiencing sharp pain in my forearms and knees with almost any activity. Armand was able to pinpoint the root cause of my pain and walk me through exercises and lifestyle changes that made a real difference and helped me maintain progress. Jesus asked thoughtful questions and paid close attention to small details in my form that made a big impact on my results.
They are both skilled professionals and also very honest. When I no longer needed treatment, no one pushed me to continue. That by itself gives me confidence to return if I ever need help again. The front office team is also super friendly, positive, and helpful with scheduling and insurance questions - all around, a great experience, highly recommend!“

I now feel much more confident going to the gym on my own and actually knowing what I’m doing. Highly recommend if you’re looking to build a solid foundation.“

325 N Altadena Dr #100, Pasadena“I was diagnosed with a shoulder labrum tear after a weightlifting accident. The doctor recommended trying physical therapy and I ended up going to 1 PT. After several weeks of guidance and therapy from Andrea, I'm now back lifting even heavier than prior to the accident. Andrea is knowledgeable, professional, encouraging, engaging, and has a great sense of humor. The therapy sessions are challenging and fun. The staff at 1 PT are friendly, courteous, and kind. I highly recommend them.“

185 E Glenarm St #107, Pasadena“I have been going to Carina’s for 3 years now. My session is an hour and starts with 10 minutes of cardio, followed by core, then arms/legs etc. A few people come in every half hour and so there ends up being around 3-6 people working out at any given time. But she prescribes different exercises for each person based on your individual strength and needs. I started going here toward the end of the pandemic because she diligently wipes down all the machine after each person uses it. One of the best things about Carina’s is she creates a very friendly and social environment. It’s the reason I have been so consistent about my two times per week! Everyone enjoys talking to each other and I look forward to catching up with my new friends all the time! She offers sessions Mon/Wed evenings and most mornings.“

326 S Lake Ave, Pasadena“Erik is one of the best instructors at Barry’s! He brings so much energy to the class, makes it feel like a small group, he’s hands on to help with form, he encourages us to show up for ourselves, and then he wraps the class with thoughtful wisdom to walk away with as we cool down. Always a 11/10 class!“

107 S Fair Oaks Ave #220, Pasadena“found Jeremy through a referral from a couple friends. I was having sudden problems eating, due to sharp pain on the right side of my jaw. it hurt to open my mouth, or chew down. I also had a clogged right ear, and he identified the issue there as well, which was related.
within only 1 session, Jeremy was able to identify and mitigate the pain, and I hardly have any pain now, and it's getting better day by day.
the combination of his treatment, plus the exercises he taught me to do at home have helped me heal almost completely within a day or two.
He has tremendous experience, and a wonderful personality. Responsive, caring, experienced, professional, and also a bit of a jokester.
He will work with you to provide a superbill, it you need it to claim for your insurance.
Highly recommend !“

My therapist, Shiva, made the entire process so much more comforting and welcoming. She made sure that in all aspects of recovery, I was secured. Each exercise was explained, and most importantly, she made sure to ask how I felt before and after the treatments. You would never leave your appointment without feeling better.“

6AM - 10PM
350 S Lake Ave #105, Pasadena“Simply put - LIFE CHANGING.
My background - I've never lifted weights, I've never been one to exercise. But this little shop of miracles - they changed all that.
They took a terrified beginner (or even lower than beginner if such a term exists), and helped him fall in love with the exercise, with the workouts, with the process, with the philosophy.
I'm not kidding when I say that my first day - I was just worried my leg would go shooting across the room on my first machine. But the staff was patient, detailed, and thorough. They made sure I knew exactly what I was doing, and they were watching everything cautiously to make sure I was safe and my form was ok.
That was a year ago, this week.
One year later - I can't believe how far I've come.
When I started, I just had a simple goal - I'd like to be able to do one squat. Now I can do a half dozen without even focusing on it.
A myriad of little changes to my life, my health, my lifestyle - all these little improvements that make everything so much better than it's ever been. I'm emotional just thinking of the process...
And truly - it just comes down to the trainers, the staff - they're my guides, my scouts, my mentors in this journey. They never tire of my asking question after question about how to better my form, how to improve my technique, and I owe them so much for that.
I'm a full convert now. Full stop. As long as I'm physically and financially able to - I can't imagine ever stopping this process.
THANK YOU to every one at the Strength Shoppe (Jazzy, Adal, Anwar, Derek, EVERYONE) for helping this one man find a path in his life he didn't even know he needed, and never would have thought he could love so much.“
