“I wish I could rate this one higher! We absolutely love GC Krav! 3 of my kids and my husband take classes here and it has been a blessing to each of us! My kids have learned so much about self defense and being able to take care of themselves if a situation turns bad. They not only are physically capable but also mentally. Mr Noi is an amazing instructor!! He care so much for the kids but is also tough on them and pushes them to do better than they think they can do. They have made good friends too and we love that there are service projects throughout the year as well. It is definitely a family atmosphere. My husband has learned so much about self defense too and it has empowered him so much. I can't recommend GC Krav enough! Get in there and give it a try!!“

It’s affordable, and you can workout while maintaining a safe distance from others. Carina keeps the facility clean and sanitary. There are plenty of options in terms of equipment to cater to your training needs. Carina will adjust your workout based on your preferences, abilities, and injuries. I noticed a significant difference in my strength, endurance, and overall health. Carina and the (predominantly) women here are friendly, caring, and supportive. “I injured my lower back at a wedding and reached out to Haig out of desperation. After our first session, my pain was 70-80% better! He used a combination of hands-on passive care and also more active care, guiding me through a series of movements to practice at home. I had two more sessions with him, all of which were super helpful! During my last appointment, I got an adjustment, which I feel helped speed along my healing process, because now I am feeling great!I have a set of movements now I can practice whenever I feel a flare up that alleviate the pain immediately. Even though I am feeling better, I want to continue to visit to get help with my arm and shoulder which has been bothering me for years and keep myself tuned up as I get back into lifting.Haig is super on top of it- every evening after your appointment he emails directions for the movement to practice at home. He is also super friendly, explains everything so clearly, and really takes time to listen and make sure your body is doing well. He always makes himself available if you have questions after your appointment. He is also easy to talk to and makes me feel very comfortable and safe.I appreciate him so much and am so glad I found him. Worth every penny to invest in yourself and feel great. Just go for it if you have any pain or mobility issues!!“

“Where do I even start? I've been a client of Hugo's since 2022. I was looking for someone knowledgeable, kind, professional, and motivated. Hugo is exactly THAT. I can say with confidence he is worth the investment - one that will not only change you physically, but mentally as well. From the beginning Hugo was clear in detailing what it would take for me to reach my fitness goal (macros, exercise, sleep, water intake, etc). In the gym he always reviews the exercise beforehand and that's helped tremendously with my form as a gym noob. This foundation has helped me avoid injuries and gain strength. It's also made me a smarter consumer of the fitness industry. The amount of fitness misinformation on social media is astronomical and I'm happy to say the knowledge I've gained from Hugo has helped me decipher the lies from the truths. During sessions I appreciate how he checks in on you if you are having a hard time keeping up and adjusts the exercises as necessary. They are still challenging but not to the point where you feel like you're going to pass out. I've been with coaches who push you to the point of exhaustion and that's never been fun. When it comes to macros, he's helpful in giving tips and tricks to stick to them. He shares ways to meet your protein intake both in your diet and via supplements. That's been the hardest part of my fitness journey, but if you're consistent that will change your body the most! That being said, what makes Hugo stand out from the other trainers are his personal values and personality. He strongly believes in family and giving back to the community. He's constantly trying to learn from others and uplift those around him. Bearing witness to that example motivates me to be disciplined and healthy.“

“This review is a long time coming. I've very picky about which gyms to join because of the bro-like, hypermasculine atmosphere that can make a female feel uncomfortable. This gym is not that. JP, the owner, is really one of a kind. He is genuine, affirming, knowledgeable, and is truly a master coach. He sees everyone as an athlete, and sincerely wants you to just do and be your best (which is what Ganbatte actually means). I've never met a business owner/coach as authentic and caring as he is, and he never pressures you or makes you feel like you're not doing enough. The other coaches are just as awesome. Another cornerstone of a great gym is also an emphasis on form to prevent injury. The Ganbatte coaches will spend time giving you feedback. Lastly, the community that Ganbatte cultivates here is unmatched. You will always feel welcomed and included. Definitely try them out, you'll probably end up staying a few years because of how amazing everyone is.“

I've come in contact with some of the best exercise physiologists, sports nutritionists and physical therapists in the country. The professionals at 1 Physical Fitness are truly wonderful. In treating my serious injuries, I found them to be extremely competent, but more importantly, compassionate, and sincerely interested in collaboratively finding practical solutions for my physical issues with much appreciated sensitivity to my pain. They started with a thorough evaluation of my condition before setting clear and realistic goals. This was followed by a series of stretches and exercises that started working within a few days. “I worked with Armand and Hunter to address the bursitis I had in both hips. I had a great experience and learned a lot about keeping my body in shape for backpacking. One of the things I like best was that they treatment plan send via email, included videos demonstrating the correct positions/posture etc for each exercise to do at home. You'll definitely learn a wide variety of skills, from self defense, sparring, disarming techniques, and of course martial arts forms and techniques. Sensei Marcos and the people here truly want to help you out and will encourage you every step of the way. “Onika is an amazing trainer. I’ve had about 4 trainers in the past and to be honest, I never really stuck with their programs after a while. What makes Onika unique is that she does not only help you physically, but she makes sure to help you on a deeper level. She has weekly check ins where she asks how was your week, what were your struggles, strengths, how your workouts went, etc. That for me has made a huge difference in my weight loss journey. Her meal plans were tailored to my needs and was not a cookie cutter plan that most trainers give. She’s always positive and motivating and will kick you in the butt when you need it.
